Purchased these as I was after a lightweight pair of bottoms for sleeping in while on long distance hikes in cold climates.Originally I didn't want merino as the itch factor is always a worry, not such a problem with merino base layer tops, but the thought of irritation around the nether regions was a bit off putting. I have a few icebreaker tops and they are in the main pretty itch free so when I spotted these at such a cracking price (£23) I relented and snapped them up.Initially they felt and fit fine which eased my fears, I've now worn them for 2 nights and they have exceeded expectations, itch free and warm enough that I needed no other leg wear down to -4, with them only weighing 152g (XL)

If you happen to have legs like the model then yeah wearing these work well, gym, running, Ballet, it works,If however your not so well toned, these things show all the lumps and bumps :) scared half the ladies away when they realised it wasn't part of my leg!!

amazing base layer pants. nice and tight so they can be together with races in colder weather as well. I will use these as sleeping pants on my hikes, so I don't dirty my sleeping bag at night.

Amazing quality and so comfortable for skiing.Definitely worth getting merino for base layers, I wore these 7 days straight and they smelt absolutely fine!

I wear these to bed mostly. In Colorado winter weather, I wear them during the day under slacks and Jeans, PERFECT!

Usual Icebreaker quality and got it for a great price. Not to thin or too thick for bottoms. Happy with them.

Best thermals on the market. They do fit quite snugly though, size up if in ANY doubt.
