I am very happy with this jacket. It's quite lightweight but I have plenty of technical clothing to layer up and keep warm. I am a size 12 and I bought a size 12. Whilst it doesn't look too big and baggy when I have very little on underneath, it is equally big enough to accommodate all my layering. I am finding it to be thoroughly waterproof. The hood is a generous size, but still, when I have my hair up it's not quite large enough so its either take my hair down or risk getting wet sleeve cuffs because I am pulling the hood cap as far forward as I can and inviting rain to run down my wrists. Nevertheless its the biggest hood I've come across.

I ordered this rain coat not reading the description correctly. I was really looking this very rain coat BUT, with the PRIMA LOFT INSULATION, since I already own this in a different color with the PRIMA LOFT and, wore it all over on my trip to Ireland last year and, it kept me dry and, warm. I decided to order the white color and, when it arrived I realized I had made a mistake and, ordered the rain coat without the PRIMA LOFT INSULATION in it. I almost sent it back but, decided to keep it and, try and, wear a heavy sweater when it do wear it when it's cold, rainy, snowy, windy. The white color is just so eye catching. I know I will enjoy wearing it, It's an, excellent rain coat.

This jacket functioned well as a windproof, waterproof shell over 3 layers during recent winter trip to Scotland. Admittedly, it didn't have to face any wild rainstorm or blizzard. I am 5'8", medium weight, ordered a Large. It is slimline, flattering, perfect body & arm length & armhole width. You could fit a chunky sweater under this. The material is lightweight, supple, matte & non-noisy. The hood & collar area fit perfectly. Hood rolls under well but does not look too 'bumpy' worn unrolled beneath long hair. Was looking for a 3 in1, but didn't want to pay the price so did it myself, wearing Uniqlo ultra light down underneath. This is my 2nd Helly Hansen via Amazon, needed smaller size this year as lost weight.

The jacket arrived very fast - thank you amazon. It was a little larger than I had expected I have another HH jacket in the same size this could be down to the fact that it is not padded but this is no bad thing as I can wear a bulky jumper underneath and not feel confined. it is also very stylish without compromising on functionality We recently had severe rainfall so I decided to try out the jacket .By god is it waterproof. Nothing was getting inside it. After 3 hours in the pouring rain I was bone dry inside. This Jacket is perfect- light enough to pack or wear if travelling and wear with fleece inside and is completely waterproof. It gets top marks from me. HH is an excellent brand.

Daughter needed to look good for 6th year with coat that was properly waterproof for Scottish August, that had length to fit flatteringly with skirt/Dr Martens - and one that didn't leave her cooked through lack of breathability. This has been well and truly tested over two days of torrential rain now and has passed with flying colours. After day of being stuffed in schoolbag came out with minimal creases.She is size 16 and 5 3. The XL was good shape with space for jumper in cold weather, but not baggy and shapeless. Knee length, and the extra stud button at cuff meant neat at wrists.Delivered incredibly quickly. All in all, worth every penny so far.

I am 5'2''and weigh 113lbs. It fits great ,but if you need to, you can wear a light sweater underneath. I wear it to work, for walking the dog in the heavy rain, and for running errands. This coat is well made and with quality material. I don't like to waste my money and if I am not satisfied with any of my purchase, I don't hesitate to return it. I ordered this coat earlier in the month and paid a whole lot less than what they are asking for currently. For the price I purchased, I would give it 5++ stars.

Love length of coat. Keep water off my bottom! Stylish fit. Inside pocket could be a little larger for phone and better on outside of jacket as with winter weight version. I have two of the winter weight versions of this coat. (Belfast) They get a great deal of hammer as I'm a dog walker. Purchased summer weight one as so pleased with winter primaloft version that I bought two of the colour. Smart coat and reluctant to spoil it with mud etc but that's what it was bought for. Wash well and great value.

Lightweight but sturdy. Excellent quality. I am a size 16. I am 5 feet 1 inch and 65kg so the coat comes to the middle of my knees. Coupled with wellies or boots I am well protected when out walking. Plenty room for layering, have worn it with 3 layers including a thin fleece and very comfortable. Not baggy without layers. Neck height is good and not tight or prone to scratching my face and the hood is adjustable. Bought for out walking in the rain but would look very smart in other circumstances.

I am 5'9 and 160 pounds. I was worried about sizing based on reviews. I usually am between a medium and a large, and because everyone said the jacket runs so small, I went with the large. I should have gotten the medium for sure! It is way too big across the chest/shoulders and around the armpits. I tried it on with a cable knit sweater, and there was room for me to wear a giant sweatshirt underneath as well. Runs true to size!

so glad i bought this earlier this year, have worn it practically every day during recent storms and wet weather, including during a long walk on the east coast headland during heavy rain and gusty winds. high quality and windproof, water just runs off the material. the fit is snug if wearing several layers and a scarf, but it is roomy enough, and pockets are deep enough to keep hands protected from the elements too.

Surprising. It shows quality, light, comfortable, warm. Used on 125 CC motorcycle you do not go cold (in the morning in spring) not used even with rain. Versatile to take to mountains, use on a motorcycle and go out. For a size buy the L is not narrow, notched loose. It looks great The pockets have fabric like fleece. With everything perfect shipping. Fantastic price for a high quality technical product

Amazing jacket! I'm glad I read the reviews. It is just as was said about the zipper, can be difficult, but since I already knew that I'm always careful to make sure the double zipper is lined up perfectly. I bought a large so I wouldn't be constricted with bulky sweaters on underneath. It was a good decision, I'm 5'7", 145#s and I love the way it looks and fits. Water just rolls off it in the rain.

I love this coat! I got it for a trip to rainy Ireland in late September and it was perfect. It's truly waterproof but light so that you can layer underneath - or not. The attached hood is great for a light drizzle or to keep the rain from going down your neck in a hard rain where an umbrella doesn't help much. The high collar keeps wind and rain out and the overall design of the coat is stylish.

I LOVE this rain jacket! It fits a little smaller so I had to order a size larger than I usually wear, but it looks great on, has some room for a warm sweater or sweatshirt underneath and is truly waterproof, not just water resistant. A stylish coat to will wear well for a long time. The cost is on the high side but well worth it because of its great construction. A quality product!

Purchased as a waterproof jacket for Iceland and it has now become my go to jacketfoe daily use. I usually wear a small 4-6, but ordered a medium due to other reviews . The fit is perfect. I am 5 ft tall and the jacket hits me at the knee which is exactly what I wanted for full coverage in the rain. It is lightweight so you can layer over or under it for added warmth. I love it .
