This Jacket was just was I was looking for in Summer. It's very light, and keeps you dry even on the worst showers. The material is soft and it will keep you just warm enough for around 15 degrees, but you will need an extra layer if it's lower than that (that's the whole purpose). If you need to pack it, it folds on it's own pocket and becomes like a small cushion that you can keep on your backpack/purse for unexpected showers.- It comes with armpit zippers when the weather is warm and it will be good keep you fresh and dry at the same time.The size is just right, so I purchased a Medium size and I felt it was just the size I needed (I normally get Medium for jackets and they may seem tight at the waist but this one is perfect).

I had to admit the Large size was just too small for me, just too snug, but will find it's way also my father in law's slimmer body. That said I could put it on, only the veranda over the toy shop prevent me from zipping up snuggly.First time to try a Helly Hansen I know from a friend, she would always wear them, long gone as my fashion days, but this is top quality stuff. Very light indeed, and perfect to keep in a bag ready for that outburst of rain.I'm now going order a larger size paying for it I was that impressed. And always with Amazon, you get the perfect returns policy and excellent delivery speed.I love blue anything blue in my book always wins extra points, and at least in a crowd,

I ordered this Helly Hansen Loke Jacket because I wanted a rain jacket that would meet 2 criteria: first, something that I could keep in my car for when bad weather strikes quickly I will have something already there with me; secondly, I also wanted something for the summer months that would be weather proof as well as light weight for Alabama summers. This jacket really did fit the bill. It is very much light weight and also very pack able. Also, please note that this also means that you would not want this jacket to be your go to jacket in the heart of winter because it is not made for that. But this is a jacket that will do the job for me. I ordered an XL, being 6 ft.,

I am very pleased with the style and function of the jacket. It is fully waterproof and keeps the wind out. Went on a steep hike at Devil's Lake (WI) on a windy day with some drizzle and it performed great. The hood is excellent; when up, it doesn't block your sight. The fit is great. I am 6' 2" 195 lbs, (bought a large) and I have room for a sweatshirt underneath, but the jacket is not baggy. It doesn't provide any insulation, but that makes it a better option for warmer temperatures. The armpit zippers are easy to zip/unzip and help vent excess heat. The bungee cinch at the waist gives it a nice look; not sloppy. If you need a waterproof shell and want to keep the price under $70,

Firstly, I love the colour of this jacket. It's a really striking blue. It's lightweight, but not to the point of feeling flimsy or insubstantial. It folds down really well into a pocket, making it easy to stow away in a backpack or your car. The large is a fairly loose fit, so you can wear a few layers of clothes underneath. It has breathable vents, zipped pockets and a high collar with hood. I've had limited opportunities to test it so far this summer, but it has withstood a couple of light showers very nicely. I don't think the jacket is intended for prolonged use in heavy weather, but as protection against showers when out and about, it is a really excellent piece of kit.

A superb lightweight rain jacket designed for walking in the countryside with the rain falling out of the sky.Packs down inside its own pocket and weighs less than a quarter kilo.It's breathable and easy to use with zips under the arms and breathable mesh in the pockets so you don't steam up even just after a rain storm.It's obviously the evolved relative of the old HH yachting top and none the worst for that.The only down-side is the price but it's not as if it costs a fortune anyway.

Husband has been very happy with this waterproof jacket. The sizing is spot-on and his usual size L fits prefectly whilst allowing for wearing layers underneath. The jacket is a great bright blue colour with minimal styling and a classic shape. The jacket is waterprrof as we had a chance to test during a recent downpoor. Also as it is only a thin jacket, folds up neatly and easy to keep in a bag/ rucksack. Perfect as an emergency jacket for days out.

PERFECT water-proof backpacking jacket!! Looks amazing and works great. My only complaint is that the inside of the arms feels "rubbery," but I was expecting this, as the reviews say as much. But the quality of a Helly Hanson jacket for $75...CAN'T BEAT IT! Super stoked, and I look forward to this serving its purpose for 10+ years. Seller shipped ASAP too, beating out the estimated arrival time by 50%. Couldn't be happier!

The jacket was just what I had hoped for and matched the description. It is lightweight for running and fabric appears fully waterproof. Nice little fluorescent toggle details. There was a slight problem with the images of the jacket, was navy in main photo but showed up as green at the checkout. The sellers answered my concerns about getting the right colour immediately and it arrived in navy blue.

This was a perfect gift for my husband, who practices for biathlons and triathlons. The fit was perfect. He is a tall man, with long arms. He liked the light weight feel of the fabric. We have experienced much rain and thunderstorms in the Chicago area; this kept him dry during his workouts! The grey / white color was a great choice. He is so sick of black or navy. Great gift from me, if I may brag!

This is a very smart, very bright (approaching Hi-Viz) waterproof jacket by Helly Hansen. It has zippered pockets and two zippered under are holes for additional 'breathability.' Very well made and can be collapsed down into one of the pockets so easily carried in a rucksack for when needed. With it being so light weight I wouldn't recommend for prolonged hikes as it does make you rather warm.

It's designed well in so much that it's not a fashion item. I wear mine over the top of a regular jacket when its raining and it keeps everything bone dry underneath. Just what you'd expect from a jacket like this. The blue colour is bright to say the least! It is quite lightweight and can easily be rolled up and kept in a decent sized pocket when going out under threat of a downpour.

I am not concerned with rain protection because I live in Southern Arizona. I needed a light windbreaker that was versatile for changing weather when I hike in the winter. This one serves the purpose well.I hope to use this jacket in Spring and Fall with a light wicking shirt underneath. The material is thin enough so that I can take it off and wrap it around my waist.

The best light raincoat I've ever owned. Water beads on the surface so well that you just shake the coat and almost all the water comes off. Like that the zipper goes up extra high and the hood is designed well--two features that help keep you dry when it's really coming down. Very lightweight and thin, so it doesn't take up much room in a pack or suitcase.

The HH jacket is a great thing to have in the car, folding down in to a kagool by using one of the mesh pockets (my wife said it could be done, I doubted her!). It has kept me dry in a shower, the one downside is it isn't really breathable so not a coat to have for a long hike (unless you need a sauna suit!).Good look from a trusted brand.
