Very very good coffee, I am a coffee lover and I value the quality of coffee that I am about to drink, so many years ago I stopped drinking instant coffees (which I am not sure why I even started to drink) and decided to buy myself a proper espresso machine, since then I have been constantly searching for a good quality coffee that will not ruin me as I drink a lot of it and have many friends who enjoy a good cuppa at mine. I first tried Lavazza rosa whish is very aromatic but a tiny bit too strong for number of cups I drink, so I have tried this one and OMG it is just perfect! Not too strong, not too bitter, not sour (as some are) I can say it is elegant with aroma,it treats you gentle but it has this special something which makes you humming mmmmmm ohhh this is good...What more you could possibly want from a coffee...well one more thing to be a good value for money, and it is, the price is good the coffee is good and the only thing you need is 10 minutes for you with a cup of this goodness....

Spend ages reading the reviews of all the different types of Lavazza pickling my mind tbh. And finally I took the plunge and ordered the 1KG bag of this Crema coffe.I cleaned my machine out and added the new beans - throwing away the first cup so not to mix the old and new beans.Made me coffee and usual and tried it - gorgeous!!! By far nicer than Starbucks or Costa! I always have 200ml of milk so basically it’s a flat white or a latte really but my father-in-law drinks it neat so to speak and he said it’s loveky. It’s nice and creamy and no burnt after taste at all. I’ve sealed the bag and put it in the top part of the fridge.I’d say a bag will last me about 3/4 weeks which is not bad value.Really glad we took the plunge now just hope Amazon keep selling it and a subscribe and save offer would be nice

Love this coffee, it's perfect for my and my husbands taste. The aroma when brewed is second to none, and is just as delicious whether finely ground for espresso, or a courser ground for drip brew or cafetiere / cold brew. A cracking all rounder. No hints of bitterness or sourness (although I know a percentage of this is down to the brew times/recipe) but you need a special bean to begin with. Freshly ground, these beans are bright and tasty, but with a lovely rounded depth. I would certainly recommend.Just as a footnote, I would also thoroughly recommend the lavazza super crema if you like this coffee. Happy brewing!!

Got this for the office Bean to cup machine. It is a reasonable coffee when brewed strong; not the best I have ever had, but not the worse. If you like the Red / Silver bag of Lavazza, you might want to give it a try. I didn't find it as flavoursome, but it isn't a coffee I would rule out. It wasn't bitter or acidic, had a good aroma to it in the bag which got the senses ready for a cup. It was nice to drink, but I prefer a fuller bodied cup with a darker edge. Not a bad cup of Joe, and I would probably buy another bag if there is a future offer on it.

Buying the coffee beans in 1kg packs does save money in the long run, especially if you are a habitual morning double espresso drinker like me. The only thing I was concerned about before ordering was the quality of taste of this particular Lavazza roast (I usually buy 225g packs of the black package Lavazza espresso beans which is excellent but expensive), however I am now very pleased especially since it gives a tasty espresso, with nice crema (exactly what it promises from the brand name) but also great for cappuccino and macchiato.

This coffee is OK for bean-to-cup machine. It's good for AeropressIt's very good for mocca (like Bialetti)It's OK for dripper.A bit bland (which is what I like), strong in caffeine (thanks to Robusta), with quite small beans, comparing to more expensive coffees out there. Since it's a mix of different sorts of coffee, they were roasted separately, hence beans don't look evenly roasted, but it doesn't affect the overall quality. In other words, when your favourite coffee is out of stock, this is a good temporary alternative.

For those that say this coffee is not strong or is watery, your machine needs a different setting. It has a really lovely flavour without being bitter. My machine is set to the finest grind to extract the maximum flavour. I like strong coffee ( not watered-down Americano ) and this coffee satisfies me well.I have SIX small shots of espresso with a small amount of warmed milk and it’s as near perfect as can be. You could, if you want, pay FOUR times the price for the perfect coffee (Illy)

Rich coffee taste without bitterness. Tried Super Crema but found it had a more unpleasant harsh taste like like charred robusta. Crema E Aroma has a flavour more akin to a mediuum roasted Kenyan coffee; sweetness with a slight hint of pleasant acidity, if that makes sense. In the end it comes down to personal taste. I found a double shot from my Delonghi Magnifica bean to cup machine, into a half plus cup of hot milk, makes a very palatable cup of coffee.

In an ideal world I would use speciality beans on a daily basis. But , these are a great daily bean.I use this to make daily flat whites. 17g doses with 30g espresso in 25 seconds. It pours consistently so it reacts well with adjustments which is more than can be said for other beans out there eg supermarket beans. The flavour is very Italian, it's dark, strong and a bit bitter so I take it with a bit more milk than I would with speciality beans.

Great price and great coffee I drink all my coffee black with a bean to cup machine. This has better flavour than another bean company I used before, that had a stronger caffeine intensity but I drink a lot of coffee regardless (more than 6 a day) and have high tolerance so it's not the biggest deal to me.Flavour is the most important and a double espresso shot of this with boiled water to make an americano tastes much more pleasant.

Been a fan of Lavazza coffee for a while, mainly their Rossa variety for Moka pot coffeeUpgraded to a bean to cup machine and felt the Rossa was lacking a bit of punch and could sometimes be on the bitter side.Bought a bag of these and I'm very happy. Slightly fuller flavour (stronger) but very smooth. Makes a good 250ml Americano with double espresso shot. Good for milk based drinks too.Our new day to day use bean.

This is my first ever bag of coffee beans so my review won't be brilliant but hopefully help other beginners, I don't use it for espresso I coarse grind and put them grind into a cafetiere for about 3-4 minutes and it comes out lovely I find it quite smooth and I don't add milk, just experimenting now with the grind and brewing time to find my perfect coffee to my taste but would recommend to anyone first timer

Slightly more mellow than other coffees I've tried, but its a nice smooth coffee and buying in these large 1kg bags saves money over the small supermarket bags of 227g. I guess you can make this coffee slightly stronger flavour by grinding it more finely, or setting your coffee machine to strong flavour to grind a few more beans (or do both for a much stronger flavour). All round excellent value coffee.

As a newcomer to bean to cup machines finding a good bean is paramount. Over a few months I tried just about every common brand available, and I came around to thinking perhaps the machine was to blame. Then a friend recommended this coffee bean, to the extent of sending me a gift through Amazon of a 1kg bag. I've never looked back. Now it's on subscription with Amazon and my supply is guaranteed.

An excellent roast, and does exactly what it says on the label. It produces a lovely thick crema from my Delonghi bean to cup machine. I have used the Lavazza Rosso beans from the supermarket before and its nice, but not as nice as this which is easy drinking, or adjusted in the machine for a real strong flavorsome kick. This costs less and delivery is free! Give it a try. Top marks from me.
