This stuff really works. In contrast to some bleedin awful illy I bought on Amazon not so long ago. It's dark, potent and slightly but not unpleasantly bitter. Don't over-extract is my advice on this one - a double espresso shouldn't take any more than 25 seconds to pour - any longer than this and it may become too acrid. The crema is rich and caramel like due to the high oil content in the beans. It's an easy five star espresso but no more than a 4 star cappuccino, which is fine by me as espresso and americano are what I prefer. There are better beans for cappuccino drinkers such as Segafredo's own Massimo which is less potent but has a nice nutty aroma which interacts well with semi-skimmed and fresh soya milk.

The taste of this coffee is quite unique, it is dark, smokey, spicy, heavy, thick. It's truly brilliant. It also produces a great crema with my Gaggia Classic.Not only is the taste great, but this is also very inexpensive coffee. I've bought coffee for £25/1KG and, while it tastes good, it's not a sound investment in my eyes, given that I'm not the richest man.

As I go on a venture of boycotting Taylor’s of Harrogate over their support for certain behaviour’s, I find myself on a quest to find a new brand of coffee to enjoy. This coffee’s okay. Not the boldest of flavours and the crema is more like foam. I do use a cafetière mug, so maybe it requires a different brewing method. Would I buy it again? Possibly.

Having tried a selection of coffee bean varieties, this one is my favourite by a mile. The beans are for 'espresso' flavour - a mixture of Arabica and Robusta beans. They are also recommended for Mocha. When you cut open the bag of beans the aroma is wonderful - coffee heaven. A superb coffee, lovely deep, rich flavour. Highly recommend.

I have tried their extra strong beans in the past which I found excellent. I tried these and the they are very good - about the same as Lavazza Rosso but more edgy - less bland. I recommend espresso lovers try them. The service I received re delivery etc was excellent.

I bought this coffee as I have already known the Segafredo have all types very tasty. This particular one is perfect, I love the taste . I am using my automatic expresso machine. The beans are not fatty which means they are really of high quality. Highly recommanded.

All Segafredo coffee is delicious and good value for money, which is why I buy it for Amazon (it is hard to get elsewhere in the UK). This particular one is good but has a bitter edge to it that you don't get in the smoother Intermezzo.

I have been trying a wide range of beans for my DeLonghi bean to cup machine and these are by far the best so far. Wonderful strong aromatic flavour, very satisfying. Perfect. Other beans pale in comparison. And a good price too.

An excellent coffee bean for my Bean to Cup Machine, the beans are not too overpowering but give an intense and aromatic finish that works both as an espresso, latte or americano. A fantastic all purpose bean at a great price.

It's a good coffee. Buying it for first time with mixed feelings after I've tried a different range from the brand. I'm biased since I tried better before this one. Plain coffee flavour, nothing too dramatic and memorable.

I love my bean to coffee machine, the closest thing to an Italian bar made coffee, and this is a great everyday coffee. Caffazini are great people to deal with and sorted my problem immediately. Highly rated

Drinkable but not as good as the Sprada Blends seemingly only available in South Africa.Having said that nothing can be as lousy and awful as that crap from Costa.Costa Coffe is akin to cat urine

I absolutely adore segrafedo coffee and really struggle to find places to buy their beans! Really creamy, smooth and yummy! Fantastic price and arrived the next day. Would definetly recommend.

Suits my taste buds. Might be too strong for some but the flavour is so good I would be inclined to mix these beans with a milder roast and try it that way.Satisfactory negotiations.
