Great bean for espresso (hence the name)! On a rancilio rocky and silvia, the bean can taste anywhere between bright to chocolaty and rich. I am still a bit inconsistent with my shots and haven't quite gotten a good handle on the temperature characteristics of my machine yet, but I am happy enough with this bean that I expect to use it for a while. Price is competitive when compared to fresh-roasted beans, which may or may not influence your decision. However, the downsides are that the beans are not freshly roasted, which does make quite a bit of a difference in crema and taste, in my opinion. Additionally, the beans will lose even more freshness after you open the bag and try to get through 2.2 lbs of the stuff (even if you put it in an airtight container,

I have spent years refining my 'go to' coffee bean for my machine and settled on the the standard red bag Lavazza. Yes, there are some really nice ones out there at higher prices, but for a good quality all rounder, you can't beat this for value....I stumbled on this 'Top Class' one unintentionally and to be fair, was attracted by the blue and red bag. At a similar price to the other one, I gave it a go.... It is much better than the red bag. A more full flavour, so many more notes and depth. A moderate crème on top..... it is my relatively new 'go to' coffee bean.Good long lasting date, foil packaged.... great value for money

While there are lots of small coffee roasters whose espressos I enjoy, this is truly a good basic everyday espresso. Espressos should be dark and full bodied. This one is rich and flavorful. It makes a nice crema.It is also good for using in a countertop espresso machine. We have a Jura Capressa E8 Super Automatic. A lot of the flavored coffees and roasts that are too dark gum up the system and make it sluggish. And while it is not a big deal to change the grinder, it is probably better to use a bean the machine likes.

There's nothing particularly interesting about this coffee bean. It's missing some complexity that I like in other beans that I've had, but what IS there in flavor is nothing to complain about. It produces a lot of crema (with good technique of course) and leaves a creamy taste and texture that sort of hides behind the milk's flavor. If you're new to espresso or like a more subtle espresso flavor, this may be perfect for you.

This coffee is the best I tried this month, it was tasty and works and I bought it because it was the cheapest, if another coffee becomes cheaper next month I’ll try that. At the end of the day it’s coffee well at the start of the day and as I said it’s works. What more do you want from me , ok it taste like ........ well like how coffee should taste like, and this all depends on how you make it.

We came across these beans while in Rome, and felt compelled to ask for the details, thankfully they were available on Amazon and we ordered a bag to arrive for our return. They are the best beans we’ve ever purchased and we wouldn’t pick any other over them now. Incredibly smooth taste, no hint of bitterness at all. A real choice for coffee connoisseurs (my wife) and coffee newbies (like me).

Oh la la!!! Another favorite. I just can't get enough of Lavazza coffees!!! I have tried almost every lavazza coffee flavor in the market, this "top class" coffee is strong, not bold, the beans are not oily, it also has a little hint of chocolate and nut taste. I use it in my regular coffee maker in the morning, and I use my breville to make cappuccinos for the whole fam in the afternoon.

Great tasting smooth coffee. Lavazza is the best coffee for espresso. I have an expobar office lever and baratza grinder, I makes espresso every morning usually with top class or crema aroma (lavazza ). If I use another brand it is only because I forgot to order. Arrived on time as ordered would buy again from this seller.

We have tried pretty much all of the Lavazza blends of espresso beans in our Jura J9 Capresso machine. Top Class is by far our favorite. Coffee is obviously a personal preference but my wife and I love how smooth this coffee is. It finishes really well without any of the harsh bitterness found in some blends.

The coffee tastes fine, what would be expected by lavazza. however the date on the product is one year old otherwise i would give it 5 stars. It was vacuum sealed and there were no signs of spoilage. My only suggestion would be to disclose the date of packaging to the buyer prior to the purchase.

Great tasting coffee beans for espresso. Beans are relatively fresh but could be fresher of course. Extremely fast ship times and better than most other lavazza coffee I've tried including their super crema. I'd recommend these beans for espresso only as it's the only style of coffee I drink.

Luv the beans. Tried many different Lavazza, illy (good but too expensive), other generic brands.... etc.. for the price this is the best. Wife luvs the americano it makes in our saeco espresso machine and I like the latte. no bitter after taste or no acidity like other coffee beans.

Un caffe espresso davvero buono!I got a nice espresso machine from DeLonghi at work and started to try several brands of coffee beans, then settled on Lavazza and tried various kinds from them. This one is the bomb! Smooth and intense flavor. I have at least 2 or 3 shots every day.

Wow! 12.5 tog king size duvet fitted with ease. Used my Dyson cordless to suck out the air....really, really, impressed! :-) my airing cupboard is going to great a serious makeover this weekend. Highly recommended. Prime ordered last night, waiting for me at home tonight 10/10

This coffee is excellent. I am not a "true" espresso drinker and have a hard time finding an espresso that is not too bitter. This is delicious....very smooth. My husband, who is a "true" espresso drinker also says it has a great crema. I would recommend this to anyone.
