First up, the whisky is fantastic. It's light, not too sweet and amazingly floral with a lovely creamy lemon curd/lemon cheesecake taste. Letting it open up with a drop of water and 10-15 minutes in a glass will reveal hints of dairy cream, fresh-cut grass and an almost potpourri touch and a dry finish. It's an underrated and overlooked malt from a only a few lowland distillaries left.For value, compared to a full 700ml bottle, it's amazing value when on offer for just £11.95, which it often is.Now, for those who thought they were buying a full 70cl/700ml bottle. I am not a whiskey drinker but I love this whiskey! I was first introduced to Glenkinchie by a bartender in Edinburgh back in 2012. At that point it had won loads of awards and I was looking for a christmas present for my father who is a big whiskey drinker.This whiskey is so smooth. Between us we polished off half a bottle for New Years.This is now my go-to whiskey and I always keep an eye out for it on offer. Even at full price it is an excellent whiskey and well worth the money.

I am not a regular whisky drinker or a whisky connoisseur and my three favourite whiskies are the Glenkinchie 12 year old, Cardhu Gold Reserve and Dalwhinnie 15 y.o. or the Winter's Gold. They are all a good introduction to whisky for people who have not tried it before and for regular drinking(!) They have lovely honey and caramel flavour notes, no smokiness or antiseptic style phenolic tastes which put a lot of people off. Delicious and good value for money.

This is a phenomenal scotch. Usually one to go for heavy peat and the darker, stronger, more intense flavours, I was very pleasantly surprised to not just like, but love this.This is elegant, refined, crisp, and an excellent choice for scotch drinkers just starting out or the experienced drinker.In terms of value, it'll be tough to beat at this price-point. Do yourself a favour and get a bottle - you won't regret it.

Bought as a gift knowing the recipient hadn't tried this whiskey before. It's a good size if you're like me and don't know enough about whiskey to want to risk buying a dud full size bottle at a huge price tag. The bottle probably held about 3-4 drinks and was greatly enjoyed.

I'm not a whisky drinker but this is a favourite of our very close relatives. We bought it for them and it was very well received. It's a difficult spirit to find anywhere, so I was happy to find that amazon could assist.

A lovely, light in colour whisky with a floral smooth taste. A beautiful whisky. If you like whiskies like Glenmorangie and Penderyn then this is definately for you. Edinburgh malt. Five stars.

I am not a 'died in the wool' whisky drinker. I find some whiskies to be a bit too peaty. The one is nice and light, almost sweet to my palate. I love it and would recommend anyone to try it.

This item was purchased as a gift so I am unable to comment on flavour, but the presentation ( boxed ) is great and for the price I paid from Amazon, very good value. Very happy indeed...

This is my 3rd purchase of this whiskey.I buy it for my partner as part of his Christmas present.It is his favourite whiskey & I think the price is worth it.

Didn’t read the size of the bottle correctly so my bad but the whisky is really nice and goes down really well just a little bit on the costly side.

Second order of this from Amazon for my husband who enjoyed it very much. Quite a light scotch, he's not into the peaty tubthumping highland malts.

This has become a firm favourite with myself and among friends. Always recomend it, especially for those who don't like peaty or smokey whiskys.
