I very much enjoyed this whiskey. I wasn't sure but after seeing the reviews decided it would be 1 of 4 whiskeys I tried as a year end treat to myself.The worry was the cinnamon and the oak, but I must say both are BRILLIANTLY balanced. The length is also lovely, you can taste the warmth a good while after it's done, and the smell lingers on your nose and in the glass.The sherry casking comes through without being too much - I didn't quite appreciate the red tint until I held it upto the light (against the Kavalan it looked especially non-red) - and although it's super smooth it still has a really distinctive and delicious taste.

Amazing whisky this one!!!!Very nice flavours and creamy mouth feel...amazing tastes when swallowed...long cinnamon finish,or something just as tasty!My favourite whisky so far...slightly better than Glenfarclas 25,which I find a bit inconsistent.Even Glengoyne Cask Strength at 58.8% is lovely,with toffee and fudge...marzipan flavours...Batch 4 I mean.The 18 is great too...haven't had 25 yet,as £250!!!!I'd give this 21 year old gem....97/100....yes folks...it's that good....tasting is believing!Glengoyne the Great!!!!!!

Glengoyne 21 is a fantastic scotch, with a superbly sweet but complex flavour. It's also natural colour, which is just incredible when it comes out of the bottle like a rich mahogony. This is one of my favourite malts, and only really rivalled by the Glendronach 21 in terms of price and flavour. However, the main rival for me is the Glengoyne 18, which delivers 90% of the flavour for only 2/3 of the price. But either bottle will see you through many a pleasant evening.

I’m really impressed with this whisky. The intensity is surprisingly full bodied and complex with flavours of syrup, caramel, dark fruits, marzipan, cocoa, spices, oak and some leather.Personally my favourite is the 25 year old however not everyone is able/ willing to spend £260 on a bottle of whisky and I think this one comes close. If you’re put off by the relatively low abv of 43% I would say don’t be because you won’t be disappointed with this purchase.

Very well presented. Paid £82 for this so an absolute bargain! My 1st sip was disappointing as I was expecting very rich flavour similar to other exclusively sherry matured whisky like GlenDronach. The more I sipped the more I enjoyed it. Although I was originally missing the rich sherry flavour of say glendronach 18, the more subtle flavour of glengoyne reminded me that I don’t enjoy over the top richness for too long. Definitely buy this again for £82

For my son for a stocking filler (I know hes 32 :-) ) I was so pleased to see this smaller bottle of matured aged malt whiskey that I could buy. I just know he is so going to enjoy this whiskey. Fab delivery, second to none, excellent all round. Very happy...…...

This tastes velvety and viscous in the mouth with good depth of flavour. It has a subtle oaky and spicy after taste, I don't quite get the cinnamon tbh but 21 years in the sherry cask has treated this whiskey well.

Bought this for my dad and he loves it. Tasted it myself and its easy to see why. Just a really well rounded whiskey that's very smooth to drink. Worth the bit of extra money if you fancy a treat for yourself.

Well what more can you say. This is an extremely smooth 21 year old whisky and perfect for those special occasions. I really like the Glengoyne 18 year old but the 21 is something else.

smells like any other whisky, but tastes amazing, not bitter, very mild and pleasant after taste. allow 21 minutes in a glass before drinking.no water needed.amazing

This kind of whiskey has more than quadrupled in value in the collectors market, hold onto a bottle of this for 20 years and you will be in the money big-time.

I'm no expert in Malt Whisky but this is on another level to the 'standard' malts you will find in your local super market.It tastes just like Christmas :)

Purchased twice both for my father as his fav is glengoyne visited them distillery several time’s next year when he retires I will buy him the 30 year old

Amazing whisky, one of the best I tried. So smooth, full bodied, sweet, heaven in mouth. So dangerously good your don't stop with one glass

The only problem with this whisky is it seems to vanish when you open the bottle....had to order another!!!
