I have been really impressed with these fantastic trousers. I prefer a zip off trouser as it proves to be far more practical across more seasons. These did need to be taken up as previous reviews have said, but it's not a massive job and the excess material that was cut off may come in handy for any patching/repairs. I have done a couple of really long walks (c.20 miles) in them and found that the comfort, both as trousers and shorts, is great with no rub or chafe at all. The G-1000 material is really comfy and quiet to walk in. The pocket placement is spot-on and the variety of pockets and features are nice - even down to the internal mesh pocket within the thigh pocket to stop your mobile phone sliding about while you are walking.

Fjal Raven quality & design. Fit is good, C50 being 34” as described. Turned the hems up. Have used them hill walking in the rain and whilst on holiday on long drives and as shorts on the beach. Great trousers, very versatile.
