A great product ,good price and delivered on time.However the driver refused to give me my bottles of whisky as I was unable to provide a current passport or driving licence to confirm I was over 18 .Fortunately my wife has a driving licence and the driver handed my whisky into her safe keeping ,as a responsible adult.Given that I am a white haired old man of 77years of age I was somewhat amazed that anyone would doubt for a moment that i was not under 18.On checking Amazon s web site I found that the driver was adhering to the letterCompany policy that All Customers purchasing alchohol need to provide evidence of age.All previous deliveries of alchohol purchased from Amazon and my local

Nothing wrong with the 2 products,fast delivery and well packed.(Thank goodness.)A week ago I added to my address “Use the warden button for entry.(I’m 73,almost bed bound,and it’s a struggle to get from my bed to my Flat 12 front door control button.Had he paged warden,he’d be in by now.Obviously foreign,Massive red “FRAGILE sign on box.Not only does he have it upside down,he doesn’t understand it.I said “Just put it there”pointing at floor just inside my door.From waist height he just dropped it.What a thud,thankfully no breaking glasssound.I opened it,and thankfully whisky bottle still intact.

No clue what sheerness is in the rating system, but if that means it's sheer luxury like bourbon... then yes! 5 stars! It's like a very upper class bourbon style with lots of 'bourbonesk' flavors... vanilla, hints of honey, chocolate etc. but somehow retaining it's scotch roots! Not at all peaty or salty, it has a very American taste, making it very accessible for casual drinking... neat, or in your coffee, with cola, or for a session... or for breakfast... whatever floats your boat, it will not disappoint :-)

This is my favourite Scotch whisky. It's really nice on it own. I also like it mixed. I recommend this whisky. It's the nicest Scotch whisky I have ever had. Just remember if you are going to buy it whether you have it on it's own or mixed make sure you drink it in moderation, It's all about enjoying the experience. Remember always drink responsibly. one 25ml shot is 1 unit and a man shouldn't drink more than 4 units at a time and a woman shouldn't drink more than 3 units at a time.

This is pure quality at an affordable price: £13.50 @ 17/10/20.Taste is delicious, slightly milder than many with a subtle kick ?, very comparable to more expensive brands. Personally, I enjoy it neat but very occasionally I might add a few splashes of the dreaded poison, coke, which seems to enhance the flavour.Please keep the price fair as it means a lot to many of us as well as keeping me away from brandy which is not good for the old liver!I highly recommend Grouse Scotch ❣

I know the whisky experts out there will scoff but for my money Famous Grouse is an excellent blend - it is in fact the best selling whisky in the UK so I rest my case. It is not a smoky or peaty type - which for me is a massive plus and beats it's nearest rival Bells (awful chemical taste) into a cocked hat in my humble opinion. If you enjoy a light and slightly sweet whisky I would advise you give it a go.

Look, this isn’t a 30 year old single malt in a numbered bottle, so just manage your expectations. However, in my case it’s perfect for making a Rusty Nail, Old Fashioned or a Whiskey Sour.It’s just a tried and tested staple in the drinks cabinet and the one you get out when you don’t want to waste the good stuff on some philistine who wants to have “one for the road”, but you’d rather they just left!

Tastes like a blended whiskey, very smooth and mellow flavour compared to a single malt. Good price and nice looking bottle, so it's perfect as a gift. At the time of purchase, and the time of this review. This is cheaper than you can get this at my local supermarkets so don't see a reason not to buy it on amazon.

Being over sixty I was a little surprised to of been asked to show my passportI showed the driver my bank card but he said that wasn’t good enoughI have been asked many times for my date of birth verballyAnyhow I enjoyed the whisky and it wasn’t long before I ordered anotherPassport at the ready just in case

For all my years of drinking whisky Grouse has been the only consistent blend throughout. Many blends have came and went with some changing so much it bore no resemblance to the original. Great value for money and a reliable everyday drinking whisky

Previously not much of a Whisky drinker but am starting to enjoy the various different complex tastes from different brands - blended and single malt. This is a nice blended Whisky - I enjoy it with a little water or a couple of ice cubes. Yum.

Great flavour, smooth blended Scotch at a good price delivered direct as a Christmas gift at times of CoVid lockdown. Much appreciated by the recipient. Lovely easy cost effective way to send a gift. Should have sent myself one also ?

This is my favourite sipping whiskey. I bought this to get drunk and it did not disappoint. PS im not an alcoholic because I havent admitted it yet. Blame the lockd9wns. I may be drunk writing this but this is still a great whiskey ?

What's more to say. it's a good cheap whisky. I was asked to rate "Sheerness" on a rating of 1 to 5 stars. What the hell, is sheerness? I think the people at Amazon have been sampling too much of this product themselves.

Good value up here in Scotland where the Scottish 'nanny' Government has added additional tax on alcoholic drinks. They believe that this will discourage boozers from buying alcohol!!! Stupid b-ggars!!!
