This is a surprisingly well made portable mini speaker for the price. First impressions when removing the item from the box is just how solid it feels. It has a lovely , anodized metal construction reminiscent of a good SLR camera lens from the days of old. Despite fitting in the palm of your hand , It definitely has some weight to it ,which helps the tiny driver to give a clear and quite loud sonic presentation.Place it on a smooth flat surface and it will stay put due to the non- slip rubber ring on the underside. This also helps reinforce the sound from this tiny but efficient driver. Don't expect any low bass below 100 hz , it is small after all , but the rest of the sound is surprisingly good.Crystal clear treble and a good midrange will retrieve the fundamentals form any music you play and fill an average sized room with nice background music. It is a mono speaker which combines the left and right signal from either wired input or via bluetooth and to be honest, it sound excellent for the size. How they manage to pack so much decent quality sound into something so small is a credit to the designer. At £11.75 including postage , you really could not ask for more.There is a circular rubber pad underneath that will ensure it doesn't move while in use. Speaking of bluetooth , this connected with my ancient Sony Cedar quickly after few seconds. The [mode] switch cycles between bluetooth , radio and line in and will give you basic control of the media player in your phone mostly limited to,[ Play ] , [ Pause ] , [ Next Track ] and [ Previous Track ] . This worked better than expected when using the bluetooth connection. I also tried it with a Swees 16GB Basic ( but good ) MP3 player using the [ line in socket ] and I imagine that this will also compliment a tablet or laptop and give a far better sound than via internal speakers. I kid you not , this thing sounds better than the inbuilt speakers in my Imac ! Not as loud due to the size of the Imac casing , but definitely a clearer sound and more directional. I will be buying a couple of these and will use a splitter cable so each speaker acts as a true left and right when used with a PC or Laptop. Anyway I digress , for its intended purpose , a portable speaker with blue tooth connectivity, a radio and SD card socket You could not wish for more.I managed to get a solid 4- 5 hours use from an initial charge at moderate volume and this speaker still showed no sign of running out of battery current. Obviously volume will determine battery life but you can always pair it with a good capacity portable usb power bank and just leave it on all day.It also has a microphone for answering calls from you mobile but I have yet to test this function . Still it's handy to know it is there.To sum up , I bought this as a novelty item and was so impressed , I bought two more.They even made a bicycle bracket for this ;o)...I had considered other makes of small portable speakers but this is the first I've tried and I am very impressed at how useful this particular example is.The finish of the metal casing and the layout of the buttons were what made me try this first. Technology being what is its inevitable that electronics are getting smaller and smaller. I chose this little gem as a portable speaker that I can listen to via my Mobile whenever or wherever I happen to be. This little gem does not replace my large speakers but compliments them. The sound quality is excellent though will never better my quality large speakers. Having said that, I definitely recommend to anyone looking for a mobile speaker with huge attitude that you will not be disappointed with this model. Finally I am not reviewing on behalf of the seller, I purchased this item based on the excellent reviews.

Sounds great, works as it should, priced right.....My only criticism is that in dim light or darkness there is no way to turn the volume up, skip, change settings without putting on a bright light to distinguish the buttons as they are the same colour as the unit...they are also pretty flush so you cant even guess...there is a light on the unit which is just for effect, it would be much better utilised if it illuminated the controls.........Its a nice unit for daytime...If you like candles or darkness with your music you will need to order a torch too!

Don't have any experience of other Bluetooth speakers, but bought this type cos a friend recommended it.My wife saw it, liked it, took it away. so that was it...had to buy another for myself.Ideal little speaker to use with your phone, be it iPhone or android.

Great, easy to use and so neat! Really good sound even in a large room. Really glad I bought this product. Had expected it to come in a blue casing but it was the pewter / gunmetal colour instead which was a bit disappointing but not a problem as it's so fab.

Looked at this speaker, then decided to buy a cheaper alternative based on the size. DON'T DO IT!!! That was a mistake. Ended up buying the EasyAcc anyway. Great undistorted sound quality for such s small speaker. Nice slick design & build quality. Love it!!!

this is a super piece of equipment. The sound is great and the item can be placed anywhere within reason listening to an ipad is much easier for me for me with no loss of sound quality with increased volume. it is so good I bought a second one for a friend

Great item and well made very surprised by quality . Very solid item and great value for the money paid . Recommend this speaker with great features for the money and a good sound cables supplied for charging and connecting to devices.

Loud even the size is small. Totally loved it. Arrived one week early from estimated date however there a few scratches at the base (not obvious so it okay). I hv been using this for 1 month if im not mistaken n so far so good..

This product is surprisingly good! quick delivery and the sound quality and volume is amazing to say it's so small! Easy to use and nice design too! My partner had now ordered his as keeps trying to steal mine :)

Great product at a good price. Suitable for small spaces - the acoustics are not so good in a larger space. Looks good but buttons a bit confusing.Overall, a great little item.
