I bought it as a replacement for Nikon's original lens cap of P7700 since it doesn't have a security cord and as such its quite easy to displace it or loose it.This replacement works as expected, with a tight grip on the lens thread. I also use it over a CPL filter and it works as well.The only negative comment I have it that the tabs where you press to release the cap a bit small and it's not as easy as original Nikon cover but this is probably an issue with this combination of camera and cap.

A perfect fit for a Sony NEX5 and easy to attach/remove. Technically the keeper is of a different and heavier appearance than shown (losing the product a star) but not worth the effort of returning.But why oh why did Sony not provide a keeper on the original equipment?

Good fit for my Nikon Coolpix P7800
