I purchased 2 lens caps with safety cord from different companies on Amazon. So glad I got this one. It was £1.15 more expensive than the other one, but worth double plus the difference. The cap itself is great, easy to put on and off without having to look at what you are doing. I have slightly chubby fingers and some caps are difficult for my fingers to get a grip on the bits you push in but not with this one. I wanted the cap for the safety cord as lost mine and oh boy, if no safety cord you do keep losing lens caps, at least I do. This one is perfect. The safety cord is very professional looking. Great piece of "elastic" to go around the lens itself which isn't a thin piece of string like some others which then can get stuck in a groove.

I bought this to replace a sigma cap. The spring mechanism is firm and secure so I don't worry this will fall off. It will certainly do the job well but it isn't quite like the picture. The Cap Keeper chord is better than the picture as the elastic going round your lens is a flat fabric band that should be strong. However, I suspect I won't use the keeper as I have a lens hood and this just complicates getting the hood off and on -- I'll just have to keep remembering which pocket I've stuffed the cap into. It is simple enough to remove the chord.The other differences are that the plastic has a plain finish (rather than textured), the central pinch is flat like Sigma/Sony rather than rounded like Tamron and the central pinch is also a bit smaller,

Purchased on price against what seemed to be a good quality and found it to be robust without any worry of it being knocked of as some do. Has Cap Keeper that I presumed was the usual bit of cord to tie it to the camera. This is not the case, it is secured to the lens by an elasticated band and so keeps the lens cap attached to the lens not the camera. Never could see the point of attaching a lens cap to the camera unless all your lenses have the same size cap. So far have not found this method of keeping the cap with the lens obstructive to using the camera. Delivered promptly, would recommend.

These lens caps with integral cap keepers are well made & just the job. I have for many years used the 'stick on' kind of cap keepers but they often don't stay stuck on, and many caps (Canon for one) have no area on cap where sticky 'button' fits. Have purchased these caps for all my (& my partner's) lenses (7 in total) and we have used them while travelling with complete security. Happy to recommend and have just - with out question - bought this one for our new lens. Well worth the money.

Really happy with this product. I purchased a second hand lens off eBay only to find that the lens cap was not included in the auction (?!). Not to worry, this Dörr lens cap has saved the day. Fits very securely, even better than my Sony caps. It's got an elasticated keeper on it which I've attached to the lens barrel. It's perfect.

Got this to cover the 67mm polarising filter I purchased for my Canon Powershot SX50 HS bridge camera. Fit is sturdy and simple to fit. There is a length of cord fitted to an elasticated loop that fits round the lens barrel. Can't ask for better.

goes on and off easily, and stays on when it is meant to. A nice replacement for a lost cap, and cheap enough to keep as a spare if you are in the habit of losing caps!
