Normally wouldn't use the tether type cap but got this with the intention of removing the cord. Have actually left on and using as I am really bad at finding it again. Have also found that the cap stays cleaner as it doesn't end up in my pocket which adds more lint and dust than if I probably left it off!

Perfect for my lense. Only gripe is that it always hangs from the camera even when I change my lense. However it is better than losing it. The cap itself is perfect.

As expected it does the job. I'm terrible at losing lens caps so I've used the enclosed cord to attach it to the camera
