Well this is certainly a game for cricket lovers and I have to say it must be good if it has me sitting here shouting "Catch" to my fielders through the TV screen. However I must stress you would only enjoy this game if you were a genuine Cricket fan that is pretty passionate about the game like myself. This game seems to have quite a large learning curve after playing the game for two days now I can see that there is much to learn and I think I'm slowly getting the hang of batting and bowling on easy mode. I think to progress through the other modes which I believe goes up to "hardest" I think I would get embarrassed. Some other things to note this game is made by a very small company so the game at the moment has one or two rough edges and bugs.Graphics aren't fantastic I admit but then again you're buying this game to play cricket not look at the beautiful scenery, right? But seriously the games graphics are very passable to me and the main field of play is done very well though the players design and quality in looks is leaves something to be desired for in my opinion. You may also be quick to note like I was that this game has avoided complications with law by naming specifically the England characters starting with the first letter of the first and last name for example Jimmy Anderson is now J.Ashcroft and Moeen Ali is M.Ahmed and Joe Root is J.Rogers just to name a few.So far I haven't played the career mode but I'm really, really looking forward to giving it a bash. I've played casual mode which allows you to setup your own match at a very limited amount of venues but there is still a lot of customisation for example you can select the type of batting surface eg dry, damp, cracked and so on.Overall this game is a perfect representation of cricket and once you memories and learn all the controls you are very free to play how you see fit you can even review the umpires decision and appeal on your own which I absolutely love.I could go on for much longer going into way more details but I think I've covered enough and to close I'd like to say. This is a game for true cricket fans that have a pretty decent amount of free time for the long matches even a T20 can last well over 40 minutes. As long as you aren't too picky and can cope with the handful of bugs and errors that can occur and you just want to play some cricket this game is outstanding I'm very happy with it. If you, unlike me have friends to play against/with then this game becomes truly exciting especially if the matches are close quality ones sadly I've only managed to persuade my none cricket loving friend to play one match against me but it was enjoyable never the less.Anyway I'm ranting again. That's the end of this review I promise. :)

A great successor to Don Bradman 14. Without a doubt the best cricket game out at the moment. There are improvements to the visuals, more batting options, a more interesting bowling control, and plenty of customisation options. Once you import the fan-made teams you get to play with all your favourite players too. I can see that this game will keep me entertained for a long time.I have deducted 1 star from the review as the game has crashed 4 times now. I'm sure Red Ant Studios will issue a patch quickly as they are very responsive to fan's feedback. Furthermore, the commentary is pretty hilariously bad. Regularly the commentators will say things like "And that was a fantastic over for the bowler." After having just pummeled 24 runs off of it as the batsman!Doesn't bother me too much as I usually just put music on anyway whilst playing.Overall a great title and one that every cricket fan, whether a subscriber of test cricket or the shorter formats, will love.

Personally, I wouldn't buy into what everyones saying. It's a challenge cricket game, you can download all the licensing you want (it may as well be an EA game by the time you're finished downloading the community's best), and the game modes are intuitive and also far revamped from the first DBC which I found to get quite monotonous quite quickly! If you were a fan of the last one and or you're a general cricket fan, or if you're on the fence, just buy it! I didn't even buy it on here I bought it on PS store for £55 and I still think it's worth that money!

Not as bad as some people are making out at all. The suggested loading times of 5+ minutes are non existent in my experience so do not listen to that! Graphics are OK but nothing special. Bowling and batting feel a lot better than the previous DBC,much harder but better in my opinion.Just try for yourself rather than making your decision reading reviews as it's a marmite game!

If you check out Big Ant (publisher for this game) on twitter or planet cricket forums you'll get a better sense of what's going on with patches for this game. From Bradmans 14 all I can say is Big Ant definitely lived up to their promises with patches and can only assume they will with this too.

Waited 2 weeks to see wether or not i was going to buy it due to all the bad reviews people have been leaving.Saw a couple of good reviews and thought i will buy it.It is such a good game, the batting and bowling feels better, graphics are good.Honestly this game is worth buying

An improvement on the first game - more modes, better computer AI on field placements etc. Not a smash bang cricket game, you have to work at the controls and the rewards once you have done this are a realistic career.

Decent gameplay. The odd thing that doesn't make sense which you would expect from such a small developer but overall a good experience if you're a cricket fan
