This is the best baseball sim on the market and has been for years. As a single player gamer, I love that I can play a game in about 2 minutes and still make important decisions throughout the game. I can actually get through an entire season and be involved at some level in every single game.For example, for the Cubs series, I want to throw every pitch and take every swing. For the next series, maybe I just want manage.. the next, a quick 2 or 3 minute game where I make only the key decisions. This freedom allows you to play all 162 games without feeling overwhelmed by the amount of time it will take and you still don't have to "sim" anything if you don't want.The graphics are great and the sliders allow the perfect gaming experience for any level of gamer.

Best version in the franchise to date. Great graphics, gameplay and added new features. I primarily spend my time with Road to The Show. The new presentation is nice though it would still be nice to have more control over who drafts you. I know they offered that in the past and while I understand adding to the realism of not having the choice, it's still nice to have that option. I want my player to play on the roster that my favorite team has presently, but if I don't get drafted by them, which is highly likely, then by the time I join them as a free agent it's almost a completely different roster. Although there are still lots of things that could drastically improve this game and make it one of the most anticipated games every year with the likes of other sports games such as 2K and Madden, this game didn't disappoint. The players faces look really good, and the game modes are fun, they just need so more tweaks to make it fantastic. Great game overall though, 5 stars!

Fun Fun Fun. I play way too may video games! My last Show 2014 was great, this one is awesome. I was able to transfer my MLB 14 RTS player to 17 but had to borrow 15 from a friend and buy an old copy of 16. So to go from 14 15 16 17 I had to spend about 14 bucks to keep him. Overall I love the improvements of 17. COW is fun as well adds a little bit of a different challenge.

Haven't had The Show since '13 and I'm very excited about all the improvements. However, the only complaint I have is the online head to head play being very very wonky. Games freeze or drop constantly. I don't know if this is because of the game itself or their servers, but it's really frustrating. Everything else is top notch though.

Graphics and gameplay are great. Can really see the difference with the ball physics. Quite disappointed, though, with the commentary. They hyped it up, but the lines are awfully familiar and annoyingly generic. Haven't spent too much time with it and already some of the lines are old. Other than the commentary, pretty happy with it.

This games improves every year. This year the physics and player movements are better, new announcers are good, players look better and much more. My only complain is loading seems to take a bit got long, hopefully it will smooth out with time. Update loading times are much better, still five stars after playing for a week!

The servers at the beginning were the only reason for my 4 stars. If not for that then it would be a 5. But it has become the norm for games with online features to have very rough starts. I love road to the show and diamond dynasty. If you are even remotely a baseball fan then this is a must have. Highly recommend it

Best baseball game out there bar none. The Show 17 has additional features for PS4 Pro owners. Game is the best looking one of the series and Sony did a good job of adding more content and re-creating the player faces. For baseball fans this is the best you are going to get in a video game!

Best rendition of this game yet. Online is a bit buggy at this point but I am willing to give it time to shake out. Road to the Show is as good as it has ever been and Diamond Dynasty is outstanding. Graphics are much improved now that they are no longer supporting a PS3 version.

Great game, easily the best franchise mode in all of sports gaming. Fast transaction! If you love America's pastime, the great and classic game of baseball, then this game is a definite must have. The attention to detail is amazing!

I enjoyed the game. I a big fan of RTTS and Franchise. My only problem I had was in franchise, was during the off season you really didn't how much money you were working with. Maybe I just missed it but I found this to be an issue

It's the best baseball game I've played. I bought it day 1 and the servers were garbage. They are good right now but they can be better. They added a new model called retro mode and it's fun to play with friends.

Great game. Probably the best baseball game I have ever played. Thoroughly enjoy playing career mode with my three characters. Hopefully it becomes a little more interactive in the career mode in the next game.

This is my first baseball game since MLB2K13 and it's great. The only thing I'd like to see is 2K's analog pitching mechanics, it's probably never going to get included unless they buy the IP, but one can hope.
