This is a great case. I have two. It's overbuilt out of a thick, tough canvas-like material with plenty of padding on the inside. All the loops and whatnot are properly stitched in. The zips have big teeth, so no worries about them getting chewed up. It has a belt loop and 2 d-rings for a shoulder strap. Personally, I wouldn't trust the belt loop but that goes with ANY lens case. The case holds a Tokina 11-16mm or a Nikon 105mm Micro VR lens perfectly, as if it was made to order. It's too big for a 50mm lens - get the next size down for that.
