This is a cheap wide-angle clip-on. I bought it to see whether I'd enjoy wide angle - cheap enough to try out... This is not top quality but it is good enough for most users' needs. High quality lenses cost £100s. It comes in a small resealable plastic bag inside a cardboard box. Be careful handling on its edges it since it is only too easy to smudge the glass. It fits filter sizes 27-37mm. In use, it seems fine. I was using it on a AVCHD camcorder and the quality of the output using the QC-505 is quite good with flare and CA not bad at all. You can't focus on infinity but less than that is fine and w i d e. It's good indoors where space is often limited. Definitely worth £22.

I needed a wide angle lens for my Sony Camcorder, but didn't want to spend a fortune. The reviews on this seemed too good for the price being asked, but guess what? Despite looking a bit like an unusual gadget, this actually does the job perfectly! The results, even when shown on a big screen, are remarkably good, and the price for this quality item is just amazing. Go for it, 101% recommended!

Works perfectly on my camcorder. My camcorder didn't have a thread or straight edge, but I adapted it with a rubber seal which allows the wide angle lens to fit perfectly with no vignetting.
