I was a little hesitant to purchase jeans online, especially after reading all the reviews about inconsistant sizing. But having ordered four pairs (2 black, and 2 blue), everything turned out fine. All four pairs fit very well, and I noticed no size differences between them.Now there -is- a size difference between these and the my older pairs (despite them all being the same measurements according to the tag). The cuffs on the new jeans are about 2 inches longer, and the waist is maybe an inch bigger. Both of these can be attributed to shrinking in the wash. And in fact, after a few washes, they did shrink down to what I'm used to just fine. As they age, the waist will get tighter after a wash,

As good as it is going to get for the hip thigh ratio. It takes a day of stretching the thigh to fit comfortably and then I need a belt to keep them on and good until they need to be washed and the cycle begins again.As a guide for body fit comparison, I'm 5'10 ranging 174-178 with a 31-33 inch waste range.The denim stretches enough to make the waste too loose on a size 31/32 505 Regular Fit Jean but the thighs eventually get loose enough after multiple wears..I have a couple of these in black, dark blue, and stone wash and they hold up pretty well. This latest stone wash is actually double stitched in areas where last years identical version was only single stitched in front pockets.The only other pair that fit as well were Polo Ralph Lauren Jeans that I had from the 90's when I was a 34.

As goes the with the maxim, "You get what you pay for..." and Levi's are a perfect example of that. My bod fits into this particular style just right. I was uninpressed with the lower quality found in the less expensive ' Signature' series line, but the 505's remain durable, of great qualityand are tailored well ... even though they were assembled in foreign country. All pairs I received were the same with NO noticeable differences in cut. Improved quality zippers, these are heavier duty than those on same style I'd purchased about 4 years ago. When buying directly from Amazon you will receive the highest industry standards for customer satisfaction and return policies. Know your size?

Love the Levi's 505 jeans; have bought them for years. The only ones they make that seem to fit me right. This pair was the "rinse" color, which seems to be just that - raw denim, rinsed. The weight of the fabric and the quality was just fine, and what I'd expect. This pair was made in Lesotho, which is a land locked country in the middle of the country of South Africa. (Yes, I had to look it up.) I think some of the other reviewers commenting about the fabric being thin, or the jeans fitting differently, were perhaps buying some of the other colors and types of fabric in this line. I know some of the jeans in this 505 line use different fabric weights depending on the color style. As far as I know,

Levis quality has definitely declined over the years so i quit buying them in the late 80's early 90's as they are far more expensive than other brands. I now bought several pairs of Levis to give them a try again, this pair is new so they are doing fine so far but the pair that i bought a year ago has ripped out in the crotch and the back pockets are ripping away from the pants, i bought some patches and fabric glue and repaired them from the inside. That gave me a couple of months more life but unfortunately they didn't last long. I have a feeling these will go the same way as the last ones.

I've worn Levi's for 15 years, and the best thing about them is how consistent the sizing is. I'm never nervous to order online. They also last a good long time. Usually long enough for me to gain weight and have to size up... My only issue with them is how inconsistent the definition of "Stretch" is. I ordered three pairs recently that were considered "Stretch." Two pairs feel like my wife's jeans. Stretchy, bendable, and super comfy. The other pair is barely different from regular denim. They still look fine, but they're not nearly as comfortable. Just a little frustrating is all.

Have been warring 505's for years and find the fit and finish to my liking. Denim is heavy weight and wares good. You should be aware that these jeans are low rise and fit below the waist. Turn the jeans inside out, wash in cold water and take them from the dryer while they are still a little damp. Turn outside out, smooth with hands to straighten wrinkles and lay on a flat surface or hang over the back of the sofa until dry. Your 505's will stay good looking for years. Highly recommended.

These are perfect for picky shoppers! If you can never find the right size or color in stores, buying these are quick and easy. Also, they are cheaper to buy online. They fit as expected; you can't go wrong with a pair of Levi's.Be wary of the materials if you do NOT like stretch fit! Some jeans have elastic because they are the stretch kind. If you can't tell the difference between two pairs of jeans that have the same color, check the materials! Learn from me and don't assume.

Bought these jeans as a gift for my husband. So pleased to actually find some Levi 505’s as these are my husbands favourite fitting jeans, not too tight & comfy although not many places seem to sell them these days. The price was also excellent & as always with Levi’s the quality is good. The delivery took several weeks to arrive but we knew this when ordering & they actually arrived before the projected arrival date. Would certainly recommend & purchase from this Company again.

The jeans arrived faster than expected, which was great. I bought them as an alternative to the button fly 501s as my husband could no longer manage the buttons. They have elastane in the material which makes them softer than the 501s and they become a bit looser throughout the day so a belt is required which isn’t ideal. However on the whole, nice jeans .Also just received an import tax bill from FedEx ... for goods imported from the USA..sorry won’t be ordering these again.

I bought these for my husband cause he's always worn Levi's Mens 505 style jeans and he recently lost weight so he needed one size smaller at the waist. What I didn't know is that they came with a tag that said: "extra room at the thighs." I wouldn't have bought these had I known this since they do have extra material around the thighs but my husband doesn't mind that. Guess he finds them extra comfortable. Definitely would look better in a tapered look. Oh well.

Classic fabric, classic color, and classic Levis fit. This is why we love them and keep buying them!...now if Levis could manage the same quality control with their khaki-color option, life would be perfect. I bought four blue pairs and a khaki-color pair. These blue ones were perfect, but the khaki pair were small in the waste, ridiculously long in the inseam, and made of tissue-thin fabric. Note to Levis: what happened to the quality checks on the khaki line?

I've been buying these jeans for years (same size, style) at local big-box retailer, since I started before Amazon was born. But never will i go there again. Thanks, Amazon!These jeans fit perfectly, last longer than any other pants. I use them for casual wear, then when they get a bit worn i switch them to outdoor/farm work and wear them another several years. Now that i can get them with a couple of clicks, I'm even happier with them.

I bought these for my 16 year old son who prefers the Levi's brand and the 505 fitting. They fit perfect and are definitely true to size. Overall, they fit great in the thigh area, at the waist and the length is perfect. My son prefers the regular or relaxed fit jeans so these definitely fit the bill and look very nice.Highly recommended for anyone that prefers regular fit jeans that are quality made. 5 Stars

The jeans are sent from the USA so took a while to arrive, but did get delivered before the date provided. The jeans were good quality, and genuine. They weren't the right fit for me; I think they're built for the American physique! I had to return them (this was pretty straightforward, although you will have to pay postage). Again, this was no hassle and a refund was made, albeit there's a bit of a wait.
