Firstly a little background, I'm 72, 5ft 6ins, 34ins waist, weigh about 10 st 4 lbs.The first of these I ordered was a 34" waist but they measured 36" so I re-ordered 32" waist and they fit nice and snug but not tight. All were 30" inside leg but I always have to take trousers up a little. I found one of the biggest differences to my old Levi's was the inside seams which are not as good also as you can see in the photo's the back pockets are smaller, the zip is 1" shorter and the little pouch pocket is much smaller you can also see the rivets have changed. Now are they Genuine Levi's, How would you really know my old ones are probably 15 years old and were not made in China as the New ones

They are so comfy! I think they are the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn. The waist is slightly stretchy and the jeans themselves feel a little stretchy too. I think that is what makes them feel so nice when worn and feel so 'roomy' for slim fit jeans. The jeans are a slim/straight style as advertised and look very nice. Im around a 34 waist and 30 leg, so ordered them in that size. The waist feels bigger, but that might be that I have lost weight or because of them being a bit stretchy. I always wear a belt with jeans so this isnt a problem for me at all. The leg however seems a little longer than 30 as they have a slight bagginess to them, but I dont find this a problem either in my opinion.

I had a new pair of 514s delivered today that fit well, but they are completely different cut to some I bought last month... Why so different?I tend to think that most guys don't like clothes shopping much, so when i find something that fits I am happy. But I have 4 pairs of 514s and all if them are different. One made in China, one Pakistan, one Egypt and one Mexico.Surely they should all be the same pattern? But no. The photo shows these ones laid over a pair of 'identical' 514s that I bought last month, in the same size.These however fit well...

Bought to replace my worn-out Levi 569's which seem to no longer be available. Slightly tighter on the leg and in the crutch but this is compensated by their stretchiness, making them reasonably wearable but not quite as good as the 569'sI really wish that Levi would realise that there's a genuine market for people who are no longer fashion icons and, while wanting to look reasonable, no longer place looks above comfort - half an inch on the leg circumference and half an inch on the crutch and these would have been great jeans.

These 514's not bad for price, nearly double in high st shops. However, the material is light weight and more suitable for UK summer wear or hotter climes, this is maybe why they are referred to as "sunset copper". As with most Levis jeans the inside leg sizes are longer than other brands, 30leg tends to be same size as 32/31 leg. The colour of the jeans in the amazon picture seem lighter than what I got, but bar code tag did link to "sunset copper" version,they just they look more like "midnight 403" colour...

Quite definitely the real thing, these are a great replacement for my old 751s and 504s, which were showing their age. They're comfortable, a good fit, not too tight around the legs and made of top-quality strong and durable denim with just a very slight amount of 'give', thanks to the 1% elastane in the cloth. They're very well-made, with smooth outer seams and stitched inner seams with the classic orange/gold thread showing. Very pleased.These are so good, I've just taken delivery of my second pair.

Usual Levi quality, excellent. Thankfully for when you are at the stalls, there's a zip rather than buttons. Not a bad price either. Levi leg lengths seem to me to be a little longer than others of nominally the same length. I will generally have a 32" leg, but anticipating this, I ordered a 30". Which was spot on. Have worn Levis on and off for decades and their quality is constant. Although they are only sometimes the pinnacle of fashion over the decades, they never really go out of fashion ever.

UPDATED. Dark Brown corded Levis 514 Jean. Bigger in the waist as all 514. Gorgeously warm and comfy and yet light weight. Wish there was more colours.sit bellow the bellow the belly or waist so us men think we are still a size smaller. I must say I warn these around 30 times. Wash on a 20 if you are just cleaning then if they’ve been worn a few times and wash inside out as normal. If you’ve spilled tea/coffee ect only need a 30. So soft and comphy. Stretchy but keep their shape. I just love these

Being a gentleman of a certain age, Levi, has always been the name in jeans. Though always quite expensive, these were reasonable. Quality was as expected. Durability, we will have to wait and see on that one. There are a lot of fake Levi's out there, and for all I know these could be fake. But, they look and feel like the real deal, and I am very pleased with them. As the headline indicates, these have a zip fly. Have never been a fan of the button fly (too fiddly).

Fast delivery well packaged on time.Levi’s need I say more?Have yet to wear them as it’s far too hot at the moment lolBut there the same as my last pair and will hold for a long time. Also the colour won’t fade out for a long time.Would highly recommend if your looking for some good quality jeans at a reasonable price.Comfy, top quality will last a long time. Much better than a cheaper £20 option which will lose its colour within a year. Will use again

Nice jeans. I really like the canvas material these jeans are made of. It looks and feels like a strong fabric that should last well, and the colour is even nicer than the photos. The sizes runs a little large so I ended up buying the size 31 waist and 32 leg ( I normally wear levis 501 32W x 32L ). These jeans have a very similar cut to 501's but sit a little lower on the waist. Overall I'm happy with my new pair of levis.

Perfect quality pair of Levis matching those I've seen in high street stores for 10-15 quid more expensive than here. Great fit, very slight 'elasticated' though not excessive but allows a bit of give for those who might push into the next size up (I'm around a '35' waist but these are great in 34R). Also very slightly longer than I expected but this also allows option of turnup cuffs with your boots etc. Very happy buyer.

So didn't complete info above because pants fit everyone different. I was 36 36 for many years, these are 34 34 and fit so good, they don't hang up on my shoes when I stand up (big deal for me), perfect length, waist is spot on, haven't dried them in the dryer yet (hang dry) and they keep getting better. So I'm 6 ft 4, like 210 215 pounds, thin from waist down...I'm ordering some different colors now. Hope this helps!

Perfect fit, very comfortable. This is the second pair I’ve bought. The description was/is obviously not for these jeans, I bought 514s because they are a zip fly and the description says button. Also they are 99% cotton and 1% elastane which makes sense as they are stretch, which is also different from the description. Unlike some of the other reviews I have no reason to suspect these are dodgy at all.

These jeans feel nice, color is good, amount of stretch is perfect, they just run a bit big.... Ordered my actual measurement size, 42x32 and they were too big in the waist, returned for 40x32 and instead received 33x32 jeans with a 40x32 sticker on the bag, returned AGAIN for a replacement and again received mislabeled 33x32 jeans. Giving up on these, will have to buy new jeans in-store.
