I never had better fitting jeans before. They sit a little lower on the hips and the cut seems to leave more breathing space in spite of being slimmer than the 501. This sort of thing helps a lot if you belong to the group of people that actually combines jeans wearing with eating sometimes.Some other reviews complained about quality issues. I'm not seeing any of that. It's true that the fabric is not as thick as it used to be many years ago, but that is clearly a fashion thing, nothing to do with QA. Some recent jeans have an excessive amount of stretchy material. Not so this one. It does stretch a tiny bit, which is comfortable, but it has 99% cotton.

Went from 505s to these 504s and the material is much thinner, and stretchy - which is a good thing as the 505's are stiff and heavy. So far, having washed them a few times (inside out) the black has persisted. They're comfortable, as you'd expect with Levi's. Yes they aren't the cheapest jeans around - you can buy comparable Wranglers for much less - but I've never had a pair of Levi's that I didn't get fantastic amounts of wear out of (isn't the expression "buy cheap, buy twice"?). Apart from very cold winter days, when the 505 is better, this is much more comfortable pair for the rest of the year.

These are the most comfortable jeans that I own. The frustrating thing about the 504s is that the feel of the material seems to vary so wildly between 'colours'. Have since bought another pair in a blue colour and found the feel of the material to be substantially different and even the fit felt different even though the size was the same. In terms of the colour - I love it. It's great to have something that's non-standard and it goes well with any shoe colour other than black.

Genuine Levi product - well made, and exactly the same as the pair of 504's I bought a year ago.As soon as i got them i tried them on and found they were noticeably tighter than my old ones of the same size - but after wearing them a few days they loosened up and are now pretty much identical in fit.Delivery was within a week too, so fairly speedy. Will probably buy again.

About half the price they were in the Levi store I really feel sorry for the high street. These fit very well and are replacing the pair that I originally purchased (from the high street) 5 years ago. The elastic added to the fabric really makes the so comfortable.

Loved the first pair so ordered the second. Chose a size smaller than my normal size, perfect fit with room to move. Material feels a little light from the packet, don’t be put off, so comfortable to wear. Too good to miss at this price.

These are beautifully made jeans and they fitted my partner perfectly( definitely true to size for a 32/30) , the quality of the denim and the colour are great making these jeans quite elegant , can be dressed up very easily .

Given 5 stars becuase Levi's have made another great fitting jean with a colour that looks the part.Gives a smart look even if you are just looking for an easy/casual jean and fits perfectly.

I am short with a stocky build. Big thighs because im a regular gym user. I have always found it difficult to find good quality jeans that fit and look good. These jeans tick all the boxes.

I have owned these jeans before so knew the size I needed. I am happy with the product and the price which was a good bit cheaper than from the Levi store.

Good fit and length. Too soon to say how durable they are, but if they are anything like my last pair of 506's, they should last aong time.

Absolutely good fit, delivery fast, good quality item. I never strayed from the 501 fit, but now in future I'll be buying more Levi 504's

Thats not a 501 but it's just the perfect fit to me. Not too skin, not too regular, it looks modern, and is perfect for work and home.

Not quite as slim in the bottoms as I expected but otherwise they fit just fine. Would appreciate some slimmer fit recommendations!
