I’ve been buying Levi’s 511’s for years and solely wear them. Having last some weight recently I needed a new pair, and got a great deal (70% off) on the ‘Headed South’ jeans over Christmas.I have the following comments;Some reviewers have complained that they weren’t sure whether the jeans they bought were genuine. Mine were sold by Amazon and almost certainly genuine.Levi’s 511’s used to vary depending on the factory used and denim type. They are much more uniform now. I’ve bought four pairs recently and they are centimetre perfect.The waist size is very flattering, all my 511’s are now 28 inches but my actual waist measured with tape is 30 inches. Think this sizing anomaly would be the same for most people.

After Reading some reviews, buying These 511's from amazon made me little optimistic about my purchase due to the huge price difference compare to all other online stores. Are these genuine or just low qaulity levis made for different market. Wow!!! These 511's ( Blue harbour )Are indeed Top quality Levis made in poland. Levis at their very best. The fit is perfect with a little stretch ( could do with abit more though) Advertise as 98% percent cotton 2% elastane, actual lable says 99%cotton 1% elastic.To me it's more like 99.5% cotton and Half percnt elastiane. Still Very comfortable to wear. The Material is better than all my other levis. For some reason it is actually thicker and softer than my other 511's which i bought from levis store,

Firstly a little background, I'm 72, 5ft 6ins, 34ins waist, weigh about 10 st 4 lbs.The first of these I ordered was a 34" waist but they measured 36" so I re-ordered 32" waist and they fit nice and snug but not tight. All were 30" inside leg but I always have to take trousers up a little. I found one of the biggest differences to my old Levi's was the inside seams which are not as good also as you can see in the photo's the back pockets are smaller, the zip is 1" shorter and the little pouch pocket is much smaller you can also see the rivets have changed. Now are they Genuine Levi's, How would you really know my old ones are probably 15 years old and were not made in China as the New ones

I ordered 12 pairs of these 511 slim fit jeans in various shades and I've received ten so far. Three pairs are non premium and just say 511 on the leather patch with the words "QUALITY CLOTHING" and have a lowercase e on the tab.The other seven are premium and say Lot 511 on the leather patch with the words "GENUINE QUALITY CLOTHING" these also have a Big E on the tab and one of the pairs only has the trademark which occurs on 1 of every 100 made so I am told.All of the premium ones say "Quality Clothing LEVI'S PREMIUM SAN FRANCISCO, CAL" on the inside.I also emailed Levi's customer service department for confirmation and they said..."With regards to your query and after a detailed research,

Great on and stretchy, more stretchy than expected, but probably works to my advantage over Christmas. I pride myself that of a man in his late 40’s I can still look good in ‘skinny’ jeans, but without looking ridiculous as an old bloke trying to look young! These are as tight and as ‘skinny’ I want to get, whilst staying fairly ‘fashionable.’These are Levi ‘Premium’ jeans. Didn’t know much about this Levi range but all I can say they look good and the dying is exceptional. Top product from Levi’s. No ‘Clarkson’ effect here.I’ve tried many makes of jeans over the years and I don’t care what people say but I won’t buy anything other than Levi’s now as they are, for me, the best jeans money can buy.

These jeans are described as Levis, but carefully inspection reveals they are NOT Levis!** APPOLOGIES TO AMAZON [and Levis] for suggesting the product delivered was fake! *** Having checked with LEVIS UK Customer services, today, it appears that these jeans ARE GENUINE, though there is apparently a manufacturing fault re SIZING and LABELLING. One of my suspicious issues was that the external labels, and rear leather patch, states 32 X 32 although the INTERNAL cloth label (with the washing symbols labels) states 33 X 32 !!Also the 'suspicious' (additional) "Levis Premium" Label - and Red LEVIS tab, with a CAPITAL "E" - are the NEW Levis "Premium" range details.So product is GENUINE and appears of good quality,

These jeans are awesome. They are a really nice indigo blue and fit really well. The only critisisim is that i origionally ordered a 36 becuase i have 2 other pairs of 511 that are a 36 and these came up much smaller. The 38's i ordered are a perfect fit and leg length in my opinion. I think they came up smaller because becuase the denim is a little more rigid. They are really comftable though.I have read other reviews that claim the blue denim is lighter than in the picture. Mine seem to be pretty spot on and exactly how i thought they would look.I love levi's 511's and although i had to return my first pair i think these jeans are the best i have owned so 5*'s.

They are so comfy! I think they are the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn. The waist is slightly stretchy and the jeans themselves feel a little stretchy too. I think that is what makes them feel so nice when worn and feel so 'roomy' for slim fit jeans. The jeans are a slim/straight style as advertised and look very nice. Im around a 34 waist and 30 leg, so ordered them in that size. The waist feels bigger, but that might be that I have lost weight or because of them being a bit stretchy. I always wear a belt with jeans so this isnt a problem for me at all. The leg however seems a little longer than 30 as they have a slight bagginess to them, but I dont find this a problem either in my opinion.

Having read some of the reviews for these jeans I was nearly dissuaded from buying them but having done so I can only assume that the bad reviews were for an entirely different product.I need size 29W 34L (the same size as when I was 18 which was a considerable number of years ago) but when I tried to make a purchase from major High Street outlets I was told that there was no call for this size combination. It seems that tall slim men have become something of a minority group in recent years!The only flaw I could find was that the 'Levis' tag on the back pocket was sewn on upside-down so that it reads 'siveL'.

These were extremely comfortable as soon as I put them on and felt good quality. I also really appreciate they do sizing every inch, rather than every 2. I'm always between sizes so that's amazing.For me, though, these jeans didn't feel too 'slim'. I personally found the style a little bit baggy - especially around the ankles. It's not really a criticism or anything, just was unexpected and is not a fit that suits me personally.Also, I ordered a 30 leg length, and got a 32. The package it was in said '30' but the jeans said '32' - and they were definitely 32. It wasn't a huge issue as I'm returning them anyway,

A few weeks ago I got these jeans from Amazon in size 32 x 30 which is my usual size in Levis jeans. I could barely get them on they were really tight in the waist and hips so returned them. When the price of the size 33 x 30 went down to a level I could afford I decided to try the larger size. Guess what, they turned out to be too big! I then ordered the 32 x 30 again not expecting great things and they fit perfectly. Not sure what is going on with Levis quality control but I eventually got there and they fit and look good. As other reviewers have said the material does tend to pick up any loose bits and pieces which show against the black coloured jeans.

These are perfect fitting slim jeans and, as you would expect from Amazon, these are the authentic product. I read a few reviews before I ordered that implied that the product may not be genuine. This is not the case!! I have bought many pairs of Levis from different stores as well as Amazon and they have all been exactly as I would expect.I originally bought this colour and style from a different retailer in a 32 waist but found that they stretched quite a bit after a day or so of wear and became a little bit too big compared to my other 511 jeans in the same size. The boyfriend loves them and doesn't really wear anything else. They fit slim throughout but do not look like skinny jeans. The bottoms are straight so they look different than skinny and bootleg cuts. He likes the Clean Dark color, which is a pretty basic dark blue denim. That particular shade does not have the visible faded creases by the hip or thigh area like tredier type jeans do. They do have creases behind the knee to promote easier mobility, but they are not faded or colored creases and are hardly visible. He also likes the black color wash 511s, but only the basic denim, not the black stretch was that are more like jeggings with a shiny finish.

My favorite jeans are the Black 511 slim fit jean, so I decided to get a different color to see if it still fits the same as the black one. To my surprise, it does fit as expected but it is a little tight, as least for me, in the inside of the legs near the crotch. When I walk I notice it pinching against my front inner thighs more so than a new pair of my favorite black ones, that is why I took one star off. But then again, I will more likely have to break them in even more to get it to fit to my body type.Overall I would still recommend this jean for purchase if you like the slim fit look, without it being overly skinny, and the dark blue-ish black color.

Ever since I bought a pair of Levi 511 jeans a couple of years back I've slowly ousted any inferior jeans for more 511s. The material is perfection and some of the grey and black colours are very modern if you dig the monochrome trend. 511s look like any other jean but the material is softer with a slight stretchy-give that makes them so much more comfortable especially if you like to move about. Does that make me a girl because I like soft jeans and find old jeans uncomfortable and scratchy? Perhaps but if you wanted to randomly lunge or adopt an improbably wide stance then these jeans might just change your life and once you try you'll never go back.
