I have been using D'Addario EJ26 (11s) strings for many years. I used these acoustically as well as through an electric amplifier, and was very happy with them. It was time to change my strings and I thought I would try the 10s, which I believe are D'Addario's lightest off the shelf strings for an acoustic that I have found. My reason for trying the 10s would be for easier bending of the strings.I was a little worried that the 10s would loose some volume for playing acoustically, but so far have not found the volume to be that much quieter than the 11s.The 10s are of course still acoustic strings, so therefore not as easy to bend as light electric strings,

I can't say anything bad about the strings as they are the usual high quality manufactured strings expected from this company but when concidering buying the extra light gauge strings be advised that they are very light and if you have any skills at all on guitar you will probably find them too light to play .For begining they are lighter on your fingers but as far as volume goes its low from these strings .Introduction i would call them until you can hold a chord .When you can hold a chord your probably gonna want custom lights not extra lights for playability.

I’ve used D’Addario strings on both acoustic and electric guitars for ages and always found them to be of excellent quality both in terms of tone and durability. These light gauge acoustic strings are no exception, highly recommended.

They are just what the professionals say they are. That’s because having checked with D’Addario they are a genuine product. Worth dealing with a proper guitar shop to get genuine strings. They sound so different, great sound.

I have used D'addario strings for over 30 years. They never fail. Excellent tone, great durability and playability and such great value. Acoustic and electric. Top quality.

Arrived early and sound great! Was worried that since I opted for a lower gauge they wold sound a little thin but I have absolutely no complaints and they're a joy to use.

Seem ok but I think just the bronze strings are maby as good this is the first time I've used prosper bronze strings they sound ok on my cheap acoustic guitar

beautiful strings so easy to play totally rejuvenated an older guitar crisp sharp with a good sustain chuffed.
