This is the first time I have fitted D'addario .009-.045 extra light gauge strings on my 12 string acoustic guitar, I have always thought the sound would be too thin, but this isn't so they are very bright and resonant. If you own a 12 string guitar you will no how strenuous the guitar is to play with a heavier gauge. I will be fitting D'addario .009-.045 from now on
