This was truly one of the worst items I have purchased.It was expensive but there were not many card reader/ usb hubs available.In order to work you will need to buy a 5v a/c adapter and a longer usb cable to attach to the computer the one supplied is very short.It will install without the a/c adapter but the usb2 hub does not work and keeps flashing up driver not installed correctly.Once you get it to work, the usb hub connectors are very lose on the cables and keep shutting off devices. Then when you re-boot it stops working.Stupidly I threw the box away and cannot return it.Avoid like the plague
