The LaSalle Distillery in Canada is no longer producing any whisky the last known release is the Crown Royal XR and very difficult to find, soon this whisky will disappear as stocks start to dwindle only to be seen in Auction houses.I am personally not a blended whisky drinker but since it is soon to disappear I thought I would get myself a bottle or two, and I am pleased to say not bad at all. Starts with the taste of orange peal to give way to vanilla and honey, very sweet ideal for a cold winters night . If you prefer a spicy peaty whiskey then this one wont do it for you. I have no preference as each whisky or whiskey has it's own character.

whiskey's I've tried. Initially I only bought this because it was on a list of drinks to try, and because Chris Jericho mentioned it in all 3 of his books...one of these is a greater influence than the other.However, as for taste, sweet but not unpleasantly so. Definitely not liqueur sweetness or consistency it has a definite bite. Pours in a caramel-like colour, darker than Bushmills and a lot of Scotch varieties. In fact the closest I can compare it to is the Glenmorangie Port Barrel aged variety.I've never been a huge fan of American Whiskey but this one from Canada has proved that a very good drink can be made over that side of the Atlantic,and is well on the way to becoming a favourite

I Love Jack Daniel,Bourbons and American whiskey in general are my go to drinks.I was attracted to Crown Royal because I heard it's the drink of choice of many rock stars, so I decided to give it a try.it's really lovely, very smooth without any bite or harshness.this definitely tastes better than any variant of Jack Daniels (Old No 7,Gentleman Jack and Single Barrel),and tastes better than any Bourbon I ever tried.comes in a nice purple box inside a purple fabric bag.Crown Royal should be available in every store in the UK,it's a shame that we rarely get the good stuff here, only generic,boring usual stuff.I will be buying more Crown Royal from amazon!

Being a Canadian you could say I'm biased but I have drank lots of British and American blended whiskys/whiskies. For a blended whisky Crown is as smooth as some single malts with a smooth flavour. It has always been a little pricey (some good deals on Amazon lately) but if you sip it like a malt then extremely great value over single malts. I always have one in the drinks cupboard and a collection of little blue draw string bags.Crown and coke? Sacrilege. Straight up no ice is the best way to enjoy this imo. Although a Crown and coke is very refreshing on a hot day.

A smooth drink that leaves a pleasant taste lingering on the tongue, similar to Jim beam honey without the harsh kick at the end. It's the type of drink that is just strong enough to slow you down but sweet enough to keep you going. It has a distinguished taste of maple syrup, just a hint so small to not make you go 'ooh!(shock)' but still enough to make you go 'ah..(yeah)'.It's great for whiskey drinkers especially, but is also for if you have that guest who isn't particularly a fan of whiskey, I'm sure they'd even enjoy a glass.

Lovely whisky. This was my first Canadian whisky so I didn't know what to expect. I suppose I was expecting something similar to a bourbon. Well, to me this actually tastes closer to a cognac than a bourbon - it has that floral sweetness to it. (Makes no sense at all, but true.) Really nice drink.Also, apparently this is a favourite of Dave Grohl (from Foo Fighters & Nirvana). Supposedly he always has a bottle back-stage for after gigs. Buy a bottle and pretend you are a rock god!

I tried this whiskey for the first time when I went to Toronto in September '16. It is one of the smoothest whiskey's I have ever tasted.It's like nectar, beautiful. I tried to find this whiskey when I got back to UK, without any luck until I tried Amazon. Thank you Amazon.You now have a regular customer for this product. To all whiskey drinkers, give it a go , .you'll love it.

Was an excellent service, higly recommended.I know what all the fuss was about now with Crown Royal Whiskey it is so smooth and went down too easy! And in a nice velvet cover as well I wasnt sure wether to admire it or drink it!I am normally a scotch drinker but found this and great change and I will definately be buying more from this seller.

One of the best whiskeys i have had,lovely taste,straight or diluted its perfect,attractive bottle and drawstring bag included in a nice presentation box,if you like your whiskey you have to try this,only issue i have is its very very moreish,highly recommended,will order again.

My favourite whiskey. Shame It costs so much more in the UK than America or Caribbean, but its really smooth and tastes amazing. I would LOVE if the sellers could get hold of Crown Royal Black or Maple syrup as I haven't seen these for sale in the UK.

My husband loves good quality whiskey, He got this one Christmas 2016 and he liked it although he said he wouldn't rate it in the top 20's at all. Its still a very nice whisky although He says he still favors the Scottish for whiskey making.

Twas my dads favourite brew. I live in Spain but unfortunately they wouldnt post it to me. So sent a bottle to my bro in london. Good enough for my dad & Dimebag Darrel... good enough for him. Swift delivery... think the booze lasted same .

I fell in love with this whiskey when i was out in Canada and loved how it came with a purple sleeve and a box. I did not think that i could order this from the uk! Product came as I found it in Canada it does come with a sleeve and a box!

Despite the very competitive price point, this truly is an enjoyable whiskey and does not taste cheaper.It's reasonably rare to see in the UK, so my guests loved the velvet bag the bottle comes in and the drink is a nice novelty to drink.

An old favourite from travels around North America, Crown Royal has a great taste and finish. Just a shame it's not readily available in UK shops, I'm sure it would catch on. It can hold its own alongside any easy-to-drink blended whisky.
