Sept 2018 Update. Duck Diver still going strong. We've used it hundreds of times in past 2 years. Rivers, lakes, Atlantic Ocean. It's highly visible. Colors still good visible. Fabric part of it is still good.My Goldie tried out "Duck Diver" in the river today and loved it. Ordinary balls and sticks can be hard to see at water level as dog swims. This one is readily seen even in turbulent waters. It is self-righting, so that the white duck end is always standing upwsrd. Plus, when she climbs up the riverbank and drops it, this one will not roll back down the bank into the water because it does not roll well at all. Duck diver artwork is cute! Durable material too. Thanks Chuck it for great product!I see a few negative reviews, and see that this product is not designed as a toy for land use, or in the house. It appears fundamentally to be a water retrieval toy. Not a chew toy, and not for play in the yard.

My German shepherd/husky mix loves this toy! It's her absolute favorite. She loves it so much that it helped make teaching her to get in and out of the pool safely so easy and fun. Two negatives though, one being that since it is her favorite she's constantly playing with it until I take it away which has caused plenty of damage and the toy is almost completely ruined and we've only played with it about 4 times. I wish it was made stronger because this would have been a nice toy for her for a long time, she never showed any disinterest in it. My second complaint is that it was so hard to get the hang of throwing it a good distance because it gets stuck in the chuck it.I have a chuck it that fits M sized chuck it balls which this toy is yet it still gets stuck. I also think its pretty over priced.

One of my dog's favourite beach toy. Fits right into the chuckit medium and floats high in the water for easy visibility. I have had several people ask me what my super cool toy is. I just wish it was made of sturdier material or plastic because the seam is kinda starting to come apart at the tip where my dog picks it up. Beware: if you have more than one dog and they like to play tug-o-war, this toy is NOT for them. My dog and his buddy tore our first one apart. And this toy does NOT stand up to any chewing, so I confiscate it from my dog after playing fetch at the beach since he loves to chew and rip his toys.

My 1.5 yr old boxer absolutley loves this. Can't get enough of it.If your dog loves going to the beach and water/swimming go for it, but if you are gonna use it as a house toy look else where.Pros- Very good weight to it so it can be chucked by hand for long distances.Floats great, and has good grip so the dogs always go straight for it and grab it without to much hassle.Cons- I only use this as an outdoor toy for the beach as after 5 mins of my dog chewing on it at home it started to get holes and stuff in it. But for the use it is intended for it serves great. Thumbs up!

This is my second time buying these (the first one got left at the beach) and they are excellent. The dog loves them in the water and on land. We don't use the chuck-it arm, but just toss them. The weighted bottom makes them bounce unexpectedly in the house adding to the fun. For reference, our dog is 50lbs and the medium size is a good fit. Materials are durable enough for play, but a strong chewer could destroy the fin if left alone and bored.

It’s safe to say this is my dogs favourite toy, but problem only because she associates it with swimming. The item is weighted at one end and pointed at the other end which makes it ideal for the water. The pointed end is easy to see as it rises up and I easier to grab (than say a tennis ball).I’ve bought a new one recently as the first one got destroyed by another dog who chewed it. It is not a chew toy! Use it for fetch in the water only.

My dog LOVES this toy...and apparently so do other dogs. We make sure we take this on our beach trips. Our dog loves the water but waves often scare her. But throw this duck diver into the water, and she will dive right in. And more often than not, other dogs will run to fetch the duck as it bobs in the water. It is one of her longer lasting toys so the overall build is solid. This also included some chomping by larger dogs at the beach.

Our chocolate lab loves this. He's only allowed to have it at the lake or in the pool though since he destroys toys left and right. When he's swimming he normally just carries around the toy or brings it to us to throw so he can then swim around with it some more. Seemed small at first but fits perfectly in his mouth since that's all he wants it for in the water anyways. Hilarious looking toy but he loves his "duck butt" :)

We love to take our dog to the river and throw the ball for him, but he would lose the ball because he can't see it between the waves, or in the sunlight reflecting on the water. This ball was a perfect solution, since it sticks up out of the water, making it easy to see. He likes to grab it by the tail and prance around on the beach showing it off to other dogs. It's easily his favorite ball.

I liked it, the dog thought it was just ok. But he's a bit of a 'ball purist' and didn't really like that it was a ball with a butt. We only got to use it for an hour or so before a bigger dog ran off with it (we were at a dog swim party). Meh. I don't think I would replace it since he didn't seem crazy about it. Oh well...I (we) LOVE the rest of the Chuckit line though.

Love the Chuckit range. First found this company when visiting my son in Canada. Am delighted they are now available in the UK (well most of it, still some new balls haven't made it across the pond yet). Both dogs I buy for are chewers and neither of them have chewed any of chuckits ball range. They have chewed their fabric toys (frisby etc). High recommend

My 6 month old German Shepherd loves this toy - we put it away in a closet when it came in to save for the lake, but he found it! I bought the medium and it is about the size of a tennis ball, which fits in his mouth perfectly for fetching from the water. It's so cute and he loves swimming to fetch it for us, but he likes to play with it at home too.

It was too big for my spaniels mouth - he won't retrieve it from water, but happy to chew it to bits. It does float well and bobs nicely. Nothing wrong with the product, they did warn that it's quite big. I had hoped the retriever would like it, but she's a tennis ball girl.

Perfect for dogs who cant seem to locate tennis balls while swimming. The elevated part is easily recognizable. Only downside is that this item is more expensive than a 50cent used tennis ball (available in bulk on Amazon) should your dog decide it got bored. Stupid dog.

My two labs love these floating toys. Small enough for me to carry on walks and then toss into the irrigation ditch for water fun. My older lab loves to chew things up, but this has lasted for a few years. I don’t let her go to town on it though.
