Better .... but not quite as good as I had hoped. I've bought many chuckit balls over time, not because my dogs demolish them ... nope, they aren't tennis balls. All chuckit balls are virtually dog proof. No i lose them to my Spaniels insistance that she take them into the river with her and then she lets go and they drop like a stone. Well.... tese do and the 'whistler' type do as well. These are an odd shape and *just* fit into a ball chucker, but what surprised me is that they don't bounce really erratically UNLESS you use them indoors. That's a shame because i'm neve going to play 'catch the ball' indoors with a spaniel. Outdoors ....well grass and even pavements don't seem to invoke te chaotic bounces that you might have imagined. My one request from Chuck IT is lace make the balls float. The best balls though are the whislers .... they really get the dogs fired up

They was bought for Christmas but the dog sniffed them out and ripped the box open so got them early, he loves them he chucks them around and they bounce everywhere in all directions, they have a soft touch to them so don't break any teeth, they are made from a soft rubber that can't be chewed up its the first ball he's had that he's not chewed into bits all over the floor, and believe me he can chew up any thing he's a old tyme bull dog, I think because its a sort rubber he can squash it in his mouth and be satisfied with that. This is definitely the best thing I've spent my money on that as not been thrown away in a week I know he will have these for a very very long time .I would 100% recommend these to anyone who owns a dog you will not be disappointed

Dogs love them. Bought a pair of these 2 years ago and if one hadn't been lost there would have been no need to buy another pair. They are well made, stand up to strong jaws and rough ground. Have had no trouble with them fitting the chuckit thrower, I use the shorter version which is much easier to carry on a walk and the balls still travel far enough. The bounce is variable, you might even say erratic. Sometimes they will bounce like a tennis ball but other times they will go off in a random direction, bounce higher or lower or spin back. Medium size ideal for Springer Spaniel size dogs.

Great -- would be perfect if it were not green! It gets lost in the grass at the park and takes forever to find again. Other than the colour, it is a great ball and my doggies prefer it to any of the others I throw about for them. It's indestructable (I have a Staffy & a Lab -- they shred other balls within minutes) -- these get chewed and chomped and chased and drowned and buried and chewed again, and except for the dirt are as good as new. Just wish they were red or purple or orange.

my dog loves balls and these add a little bit of a challenge particularly when he's playing by himself. Like it that they whistle as they fly through the air although it does mean that due to the holes they sink when dropped in water! Think I'd prefer that they didn't whistle! My biggest problem however is that they're green! I like the bright orange of the normal chuck it ball as I can find them in grass when out in the field. Change the colour and I'd give it 5 stars.

Really good, super durable ball from chuck it. I love their other products for their durability and these seem to be of a similar construction. Rather than a round ball, these are multifaceted to create an element of random bouncing although this is minimal. It doesn't really fit into a ball thrower, however best results for this ball are obtained when rolling it across a hard surface such as a path.

Well my Dog loves these! We buy them on a regular basis, saying that they do last a long time and are very robust. These balls are my Staff’s world and I’m sure he is genuinely in love with them. All he wants to do is have it thrown for him and chase it, non stop!As the balls are shaped to be erratic it’s great fun for the Dog as he can’t predict which way it’s going to travel.

Great value for such a reasonable price. They are definitely the best hardwaring dog toys on the market. My little terrier can tear through those so called indestructible toys within minutes but these have lasted. She has had a variety of the chuckit toys and so far she has not destroyed one of them. All my friends and family pets are getting them for Christmas

Dog loves them walks round with them like baby and dummy.Normally ball destroyed within days, these balls really tough and bounce where you least expect keeps dog on toes and she loves them.Would recommend to anyone whos dog is destructive and enjoys fun times with a ball. Not a tooth mark in sight

Brought this for my Staffy and she loves it eratic movement, is about the size of a tennis ball but tougher with enough give that my dog can hold in her mouth amd squeeze. So far she has not destroyed so it appears durable. It has a hole through middle so for added fun i poke her dried into the hole

Very happy with them. I own a demented terrier with the jaw power of a hyena and have been struggling to find something robust that lasts more than a day before being chomped in half. These are great they have stood up to repeated maulings and there isn't a tooth gouge to find on them

I have a bulldog with very strong jaws and these balls stand the test of time unlike many other so called tough dog toys. My dog enjoyed these but they don't seem to bounce as much as a regular ball so he mainly sits and chews on them. well worth the money for their durability alone.

Wanted something different and got that. My Jack Russell loves the balls, the only downside is you are more likely to hit something when thrown in a confined space, because it is not round it goes off in all directions when it bounces. I always buy Chuckit balls, they last..

Great balls for my youngest Labrador, who loves a ball more than food!!!! They bounce well and are very robust. Only fit in the Chuckit ball thrower which is a little limiting but a pretty decent purchase. One downside, they don't float!!! Good job you get 2 in the pack!

Chuckit balls are expensive but they are very durable, long-lasting an hard-wearing. These balls are more hexagonal in shape so that they bounce in different directions, which is great for my beagle who likes her play a little on the crazy side. Well worth the money.
