Whilst expensive, there's a quality and familiarity to the Canon lens cases, which in my opinion is worth paying the extra for.Bought to house a Canon 85mm F1.8, which hasn't yet arrived, it does of course work well with any other small Canon lens. I also use them for storing accessories when I'm out and about as a handy way to keep them all contained and protected. Thinks like lens covers, caps and the like.

Fits my EF 85mm f/1.8 perfectly repriced for what it is and, frankly, Canon could add both the carry bag and lens hood into the lens purchase and add £20 to the lens package and build more customer loyalty.Still when you can scalp the customer for ridiculous priced brand extras every extra £60 really help as brand loyalty - not.

This works surprisingly well if your not using a camera bag. Used my camera regular back pack to great effect. Not cheap, only good value if you have two or three lens. Check your lens size as it incorporates the lens hood.

I wouldn't use anything other than a Canon bag for my Canon lenses. You get what you pay for, well made and look very good.
