If you have any concerns about the taste or appearance of your tap water then a Brita Water Filter is a good, easy and relatively cheap solution. There is a wide variety of jugs available in different sizes, shapes and colours to suit your family needs and kitchen colour-scheme. The Maxtra cartridge is the latest design of cartridge and works very well with the newer jugs. It simply slots into the jug and only requires one filling and emptying of water before it is ready to use. The jugs have a gauge to tell you when the cartridge needs replacing (they recommend approx once per month) but I usually let if go for longer without any apparent ill effects.I find that the filters make the water taste better and give a "shinier" appearance.

Having scanned all Suppliers of Brita Maxtra on the Internet, including Robert Dyas who claimed to be the cheapest (not so) AMAZON came up the cheapest offer, and with No Postage which was an added bonus compared to all others, Delivery unbelievably fast. In future I shall ALWAYS purchase my Brita Maxtra cartridges from AMAZON, Excellent Service - Thank you so much.Barbara Bennell (Mrs)

Not a lot to say really. They do exactly what they're supposed to do. Would like to comment that the service / delivery was excellent, as usual. I tend to leave mine in for up to a month after the indicator has registered "time to change" with no noticeable change in the water quality (but then I probably don't refill as often as some people).

I like them because they get the bits out of the water. Anice glass of ice cold water "Filtered" by maxtra from the fridge is just right to freshen ones mouth first thing in the morning. Helps to wash down those pills that the aged seem to have to take these days!

I don't believe I can say much about this product.Its a water filter cartridge. Easy to handle and instal and change.Shop around Amazon for better prices. There are so many different package optionsto choose from.

There is not much to tell about the product. It does what it claims to do, and the buy is a bargain because of the cheap price. You should buy it if you have Brita jars, the new ones with Maxtra technology.

the product works good. It filters the water, works 4 weeks (according to the instructions), so you need one every month, but it could be that you can use it longer, have not tried that.

Very pleased after trying to find these filters I have now received exactly the ones I needed.Water really clear and refreshing.
