This is a brilliant product which makes it easier to perfect some of the more intricate eyeliner designs that are fashionable today. I have always had difficulty applying liquid (bottle and brush) eyeliner, my hands never seemed steady enough. I had better results using khol eyeliner pencils although they would often smudge, usually when I didn't want them to. This Bourjois Eye Catching Liner is like a cross between the two ... It has the look and ease of use of an eyeliner pencil whereby it applies just like a liquid eyeliner giving strong definitive lines.I am a bit too old to wear eyeliner these days and I have this to my daughter-in-law to try out,

I absolutely love this eyeliner. To be honest I tend to steer clear of liquid liners as I haven’t had much success with them in the past, but I am now a convert!I found that being shaped like a pen instead of the ‘ink pot’ style liquid liners I’ve used previously, it made for a much easier (and less messy!) application. The nib is really slim so you are able to get really close to your lash line to be able to create really delicate and precise lines and wings. The colour is jet black which stands out really well against my skin tone and above all else it lasted all day without smudging or fading.

This is an interesting product. It is a felt pen-style eyeliner, with an edge cut away from the nib, which can be used to stamp on the shape of a "flick". In general, it works quite well. The liner goes on easily, and the stamp is reasonably easy to position at the outer corner of the eye. However, the pigmentation isn't amazing, so it looks dark grey rather than black. Unusually for a felt pen liner, I also found it a little tricky to be precise and my line ended up a little thick. You can produce a passable cat's eye effect quite easily with this product, so it might be good for a novice, or for those who have trouble with their hands.

This black eyeliner does exactly what you’d expect. The only issue the other half had with this was that the pen itself was very thin and therefore not the easiest to hold. When you first take the lid off it looks like a felt tip pen with a fairly broad tip. The end of the tip is actually very narrow and as such it is easy to be precise and accurate when applying; the coverage is very good, the end allowing both narrow and thicker lines to be drawn using a single swoosh of the pen. The action of the tip is very smooth, it flows well across the face resulting in single smooth continuous lines without blips. This is a good product,

I have previously tried and failed to create a good cat's eye look with my eye liner and usually because I get the basic shape and line wrong. The first time I used this - I got a really good basic shape by printing the shape out from the corner of my eye and then I connected this up using the eye liner normally. I am so impressed. The stamp needs a little filling in, but it's like a guide or template, so that you can feel more confident in the size and length. As a standard eyeliner, it is good too - it is like a pointy-ended felt tip pen and applies really easily. Simple and effective

I had to read the reviews to figure out how to use this... I somewhat stupidly was just holding the nib to my eyelid and getting a great pool of black! This is a black felt tip liner in a 3D long triangle shape. You use the fine end to draw the basic line and then "stamp" the triangle to get the flick...I like the idea and with some practice have managed o get a decent flick on one eye but can't manage it on my non-dominant side. This is most likely user error rather than the product though. The fine tip does give a good basic line though which is what I will use it for.

This goes on very easily and stays on pretty well. It smudges a bit over time. The tip is nice and 'sharp' and you can definitely direct the eye liner precisely where you want it. I struggle with these felt tip style liners because they go on initially, but if you want to go over the line or extend it, they drag and won't mark. This does that too. I like it for a change, but prefer a liquid with a brush for longevity and a secure feeling.Edited to add. This transfers quite badly after just an hour.

This is a pretty good eyeliner. It was a but tricky to see which way to use it to get a cat eye flick but after some experimentation I worked it out. It gave a decent little flick but my criticism would be that the colour wasn’t very dense and I had to go over it a few times. It lasted the day well but didn’t cope too well with the shower. Not the best but not the worst - a good middle of the road liner that helped me get an even cat eye shape!

A good quality eyeliner that was very easy to use, stayed in place well, and was easy to remove with waterproof eye make up remover, and a cotton wool pad.Much smoother than pencils which drag the skin, and feel unpleasant to use, with the risk of scratching the skin with wood.This is as easy as drawing with a felt-tip pen. Lasted well, didn’t smudge, and good value as well. Worked every bit as well as a high-priced premium product.

Great container which closes with a satisfying clunk reassuring that top will stay in position. It is slim and polished so very easy to handle. The good point makes it easy to apply precisely where you want it. Not really very good at cats flick yet but my fault rather than the product. It lasted all day and I have just removed with eye makeup remover. I like it

My daughter in law tried this out. Her words “This was very easy to apply, went on smoothly and with ease. After a few hours however it began to fade and smudge so reapplication was required. However, I liked the result and found application an easy process. This is fine for every day use if you don't mind reapplying a few times.”

A fine brush for easy application. Bold, defining colour gives an excellent finish to an overall look on a night out. Doesn't smudge with sweat or rain, and easy to remove with micellar or a similar water or lotion. Recommended and will buy again.

This is a lovely, high definition, inky black felt tip liner, perfect for flicks and cat's eyes. It's very easy to apply - soft, well pigmented and long lasting.Good quality at a great value price.Highly recommended

Smoothly delivered from a taut nib so you can get a neat cats eye flick without smudge - I love bourjois and have used lots of pieces for 25 years plus and they really do the job ably. Excellent

This is a decent enough liner. Not much to set it apart from others in the marketplace. Basic but not poor.
