The Max Factor Masterpiece High Precision Liquid Eyeliner is meant to have the intensity of a liquid eyeliner with the precision of a pencil. It’s unique applicator looks paddle shaped and the tip is quite rounded and not pointy like other liners on the market.The flat, thick paddle like side allows for a thicker, darker and more dramatic line and the actual tip/edge creates a softer line very close to the lash line. I use the tip for a guideline and the flat paddle to create and fill in my flick on the outer lash line. I found the tip works best to line my inner and middle lash line and it also helps to create a guideline on the outer edge before I use the paddle to gradually build the line from thin to thicker on the outer edge,

My wife has tried out several eyeliners recently, and has had mixed experiences. However, she really liked this one.“This eyeliner is excellent. It produces both thick and thin lines and it stays in place. The tip is shaped like a rectangle, so you have a thin side as well as a thick one, which is really useful. All you need to do to change from one to the other is adjust it in your hand. It goes on smoothly with no breaks in the liner. I like the length of the tip, which lets you get behind your lashes more easily, depending on the order you apply your eye make-up.The pencil itself is a good length, but the cap tends to slide off easily as there is no "snap" to it.The eyeliner is easy to remove,

This is a felt-tip pen style of eyeliner which I’m normally wary of compared to the pencils because I find with my amateur application technique, it can often go drastically wrong, I don’t always have a steady enough hand, but the big draw with this particular pen is the chiselled paddle tip which allows you to switch between a narrow line and a much thicker line, perfect for flicks. You still need a steady hand but I do find my flicks easier with this tip shape, and the colour is good and strong.Lasts all day but comes off easily with makeup remover.A good decent eyeliner!

A really nice thin liner, takes a while to get used to it being a liquid but with practice you can get a nice line, All the pencils normally give me to thick a line, but this one was great just a nice thin one just what I wanted. Took me a few goes to master it but once you get the hang of it it's brilliant, stays in place too. Really like it, normally use top end pencil but getting too thick. Didn't think I'd like a liquid line not used one in years but really like this one, it's neat and fits in you bag if you needed to touch up I doubt you would good staying power.

Initially I wasn't sure about the shape of the tip of this eyeliner as it wasn't like any eyeliner i have used before. However after giving it a try i found the shape was actually quite helpful to ensuring an easy application of the eyeliner and I can see the benefit of it. You can use the tip to create either quite a thin line or twist a bit to create a thicker line.Glides on easily and holds well. No smudging or wearing off that I find with others eyeliners and my eyes looked good all evening. I'll definitely use this eyeliner again!

Max Factor Masterpiece High Precision Liquid eyeliner is one of the best eyeliners I have had the pleasure of using. The nib makes the eye line to go on smoothly without any hesitation. I love how the nib has a broad and narrow line which makes it the perfect liner for the very much coveted "flick" at the outside of the main eye area.This really is an excellent eyeliner and one which I would be happy purchasing again in different colours etc.A real joy to use and one I am happy to recommend.

This has a nib like a felt tip pen rather than a brush that many eyeliners have. This doesn’t negate the need for a very steady accurate application but it does make it a little bit easier. The nib is a bit like a white board marker pen in that it’s chiselled to be fat and wide if you hold it one way or very fine if you hold it the other.Although not waterproof it stays on well throughout the day. My application is not perfect but it’s much better than with other products.

Sorry this just isn’t for me. If you’re a lady of a certain age or don’t want Cleopatra (think of Liz Taylor) black eyes then this isn’t for you either. However, if you do want vivid, heavy black eyeliner then this will be ideal. The nib is really quite thick for an eyeliner, it reminds me of a felt tip pen and the colour I tested was black which was far too heavy for me. So if you want subtle, avoid this!

I'm reviewing the Max Factor Masterpiece High Precision Liquid Eyeliner, 1 ml, Velvet Black. Here are my thoughts:This works a treat, glides on nicely and enables two ways to apply - there's a thick end and a thin end. What a great idea!I found it took a little practice to get this right, but after playing around with it I'm happy with how it looks on.

If you like a felt tip style eye liner this is a great option. The tip has a flat on it so you can use it angled one way to make a fine line and twist it to make a broader line.Unlike some pen liners this is quite a good deep black, others can appear quite watery and nearer grey.Lasted well after a days use

I was a little surprised that this eye-liner is not like a felt tip pen with a soft brush applicator, but more a flat stick with rounded edges. Because there is no flexibility in the tip, it does allow you to get a very precise, thin line. The liner lasted all day and I am really pleased with it.

I find eyeliners hard to use as I cannot seem to get a straight line no matter what I do. However with this product the high precision tip made it a breeze! Intense black colour that look stunning on and stayed put all evening. So happy with it!

Once you master the steady hand needed for a liquid liner, this is a great choice.It has a nice fine tip, and a smooth flow. It looks fab on, and lasts well - just make sure you have a good eye make up remover.Recommended.

Liquid eye linerFlat tip is easy to get close to the lash line but difficult to draw a straight line. Multiple attempts at it came out jagged. Smudged easily around crease of eye lids and leaked out of the corner of my eye
