Our puppy was on this food for 3 months now, the transition was very easy, we needed to soak it a little when she was very small and used to wet diet, but there were no stomach problems whatsoever at any point (although I feel like her stomach is made of iron seeing what she can sneakily eat on walkies and at home and get away with it, I guess she is not a sensitive type). Now she is 6 months old and full of energy, all good :) I would recommend it, especially because it comes in small packages of 2kg, so it stays nice and fresh. It is a bit pricey, but it's the only vegan puppy food I found and it works for the pup, so be it. Once doggo is big I may experiment with other veggie foods,

We got this for my Maltese puppy who we got at 10 weeks old and gradually weaned him onto it. At first he wasn't sure about the kibble but gradually he grew to love it and now can't get enough of it.My only critique would be that the kibble pieces are bigger than other dog food and so use a pestle and mortar to break it down a bit, add a bit of water to make it softer and he now absolutely loves it and gets so excited while we're preparing his food!Now our puppy is a fully vegan and is thriving.Update: This supplier has increased their price on the 2kg bag £5 overnight (as I ordered yesterday) So unfortunately I won't be ordering from this supplier again.

Even though I would love for my puppy to be able to enjoy this vegan food, he just isn't interested that much in it. He would only eat it if nothing else is offered and even then it's a battle. Unfortunately for now he prefers his chicken&salmon based kibble from another brand. I'm hoping once he gets to a bit older, I will be able to transition him to another vegan food or insect protein dry food, which is still better option than meat ethically.Another thing that I should mention, I had 2 puppies of small breeds trying this and the pellets themselves is just way to big. I tried soaking in water, but again that didn't work.It's a shame.

I saw this brand mentioned in a national newspaper in a piece about feeding your dog a vegan diet. Although vegan myself, I would never force my diet on family members and that includes our dogs, however I thought I would try it and could mix with their meat initially as a tiny step towards less animals slaughtered. Although I was expecting my little yorkie to turn her nose up, as shes very 'take it or leave it', with her dinners, as one time she can look up at me with disgust, and saunter off, and other times, surprises me by wolfing everything down... but she loved it. So I will be using it all the time now.

We gradually introduced this vegan puppy food to our 3 month old puppy. He is now 5 months, adores his food, and is healthy and happy, He is growing in line with his brother who is on a meat based diet. I was worried about putting him on a vegan diet as a pup but having read up about the additives in Benevo I am happy he is getting an excellent diet for his stage of life. Our old dog struggled with allergies to the chemicals added to meat in dog food especially beef. This is something I won’t have to worry about anymore.

Got this as a switch from meat based dog food. It contains all the essential minerals and vitamins for dogs so they aren't missing out any micronutrients such as taurine and l-carnitine. My dog seems to really like it, even though in the past she has been really sulky and not eating for days sometimes if she does not like something! (Princess) She grazes on it more than usual and the bite size is perfect for her as she is Yorkie/JRT cross with a tiny little mush! I will continue to buy this brand. Thanks a lot Benevo :)

My puppy loves this food and didn't make him flatulant, unlike most other biscuits (made with meat and fish) that we've tried. With concerns about the cruelty associated with animal living conditions and slaughter houses we feel as animal lovers that this is a much better option and were actually quite surprised it went down so well. Dogs are omnivores and this food meets their nutritional needs (according to academic sites rather than the ones based on opinion/ misinformation)- something we researched extensively.

My puppy loves this..she is enthusiastic to eat it and was raised on wet meat before we got her..the transition was great..she was sick for 1 day but after that healthy and vital.I would like to update that 7 months down the line..my puppy still loves this..though not as much as toast!!..it feels good to be raising your pet with environmental considerations at heart and that she is happy to go along with this..we put a bowl down in the morning and she grazes herself throughout the day..works for us all this way..

Was an easy transformation for my maltese puppy - weaned him on to it over 2 weeks and he loves it. Consulted our vet to see if it meets the nutrient requirements and the vet had no issues. Doesn't smell as much as the Royal Canin food that he was weaned on to initially either!For puppies who don't have many teeth or are teething - it might be easier to chew if broken up a bit - we used a rolling pin to break up the food into slightly smaller, chewable pieces and it worked great.

huge hit with out two little yorkies , one is miniature , the other is a tea cup and is so tiny she struggles with even the tiniest kibble! We have gone vegan and wanted our little fur babies to follow suit , they love it! the finikiest pair on the planet for food eat this when I put it out! they are healthy and thriving , highly recommend !

Was worried that my papillon pup wouldn't take to this as the breeder told me he was fussy with his food. I couldn’t even change his food bit by bit as he wouldn't eat anything else. Really happy. Too early to tell if its impacted his health but I doubt it considering how much energy he has.

I have a 10 year old Bichon and a 4 year old Bichon Maltese cross. I use the above product with Benevo Canned "Complete food for cats and Dogs" as a completely Vegan food source. The susceptibility to runny eyes and ear infections seem to have disappeared! - Both dogs love it!

Delivery was on time and all, I don't know if my pup will like it yet but that's not anyone's fault hahaThe price is high, not gonna lie but I guess we can't do much about itAnyway, I hope my pup will like it

Really happy with this food, as is my little boy. He's energetic and super healthy looking. His bowels are regulated and he smells great. Give this a chance for your puppy and you won't regret it!

We have a 12 week old puppy who has been fed on this food since 7weeks old. Puppy is thriving and has none of the problems associated with so called " normal" dog food.Highly recommended. ??
