My faithful and loyal workhorse aka Echo was showing signs of its age and customer services confirmed what I already knew. Echo was on her way out for me!So I took the bold step of switching to an Echo Dot and getting this speaker to go with it. What made me pick this one? Well, I read a considerable amount of reviews, looked at the best speakers rated by a highly respected hifi magazine and all arrows pointed to this one!Personally I don't much like the look of it, but I was after the best sound that would work with the Dot and this is perfect for the job. Bluetooth via a mobile was very easy to set up, unlike some of its competitors!I decided to connect the Echo via the 3.5mm input on the back to get the best quality of sound and am even powering the Dot using the speaker's USB charging output on the back now! This means Echo is tucked away behind the speaker but still works great. The speaker gets woken up by Echo with ease, you can tell this is one very carefully planned speaker! The sound from this is superb and has terrific clarity. Bass is powerful when a song dictates it, gentle when it isn't. The thump of Muse is amazing, the violin strings in a Shostakovich concerto well defined. I really cannot fault it, the volume goes very loud and the sound really travels well. I am absolutely over the moon with it!

I have owned many Bluetooth speakers over the years with some being considerably more expensive than this one. Having read the reviews and recently decorated my lounge with a grey feature wall I thought this was worth a punt and worst case would look nice.Out of the box I was concerned straight away, this unit is beautifully put together and looks great but is surprisingly small.Powering it up and connecting over Bluetooth I was immediately struck by the sound quality. Initially it can sound a little closed in and you need to run it in for a few days to open up the sound.Mine is placed in a 4 x 4 metre lounge in a corner so as to play across the room, sound quality is excellent and very smooth. The bass is surprising given the size of the unit and has a real thud to it without being overpowering. The unit has plenty of volume but is not really made for loud party music.I would go as far as to say pound for pound this is the best Bluetooth speaker I have ever owned, I also own a large Marshall speaker which sits in my conservatory and whilst it goes louder that the Audio Pro the latter has a much better sound.Pro'sGreat sound qualityBeautifully madeSmall FootprintGreat value for moneyCon'sNarrow Stereo fieldNo RemoteMains OnlySummary - Fantastic speaker at a great price.

I didn't buy this speaker through Amazon, but from the last stock at John Lewis, which no longer sells this product. I've owned the brilliant Bose Soundlink Mini II, but being powered by non-replaceable batteries, was I forever charging it. I sought a mains powered, less disposable alternative with similar sonic qualities. This speaker is used with my Chromebox desktop PC and iPad Pro.The T5 has a full range sound, substantial bass and it sounds even better; higher volume, improved treble and a wider sound stage. It's sufficient to easily fill my 14 feet square living room. If your listening is confirmed to streaming from Spotify, digital radio and You Tube, then the T5 an excellent alternative to budget hi-fi separates and quality micro systems, such as the Denon DM40.Build quality is excellent; metal case and buttons which click nicely and a leather handle. It also demolishes my previous Monitor Audio Airstream S200, which by comparison had non-existent bass, poor sound at low volume a third of it was covered in easily ripped cloth.Being very picky, I should identify a few cons. My T5 had slight scratches on the casing and Bluetooth can cut out in use with my Chromebox (through its fine with my iPad Pro). As with all single speakers, the stereo sound stage is narrow.

I read a couple of reviews about Bluetooth speakers before buying this so I was half expecting it to be good.Looks wise it is very stylish with the retro design and it doesn’t appear out of place on a shelf or unit and there are enough colours to suit everyone. But that is only a part of the deal, I really wasn’t prepared for exactly how good the sound from this speaker is, it is absolutely amazing to put it mildly! Deep, solid bass and clear, crisp sound is what you will get from this speaker, no matter how loud you take it (and it can go very loud!).Okay, so it doesn’t link to other speakers in the house or have built in clicks or tea makers but this is designed to do one thing, and that is be a standalone speaker. If you’re looking for a no nonsense, mains powered speaker then this is where you should start, and end, your search.

Both eyes-closed. This *is* really a fantastic sounding speaker for that footprint and price. I kid you not. And no, I am no paid-reviewer or bot. The review by social professor in the feedback section here sums up my experience completely and more. Tonal quality at mid and high volumes outclasses so many (pricier) brands and makes I own (past and present). CP ratio is just great for the sound quality and speaker-construct.I'll give it 6 stars if there was one. There is a reason it's Editor's Choice in several long-time audiophile media sites (which existed way back before internet was invented) and Amazon's Choice.Update 10th September 2018. I've just bought another one today here @ amazon. The sound is just amazing for the footprint and price.

I am simply blown away by the sound quality of T5. Before buying, I tried a lot of bluetooth speakers and was initially going for Bose Soundlink series, but had a chance encounter with T5 sound demo and it was a discovery. I was sold straight away. It had that head turner effect. It is loud enough and what I found special is its dextrity for both music and movies. I use it for watching movies on a projector as well as listening to music. While music is its foray, the clarity of dialogues, balanced sound effects, tight and punchy base and portability makes it a perfect home theatre solution and a dream come true. I have listened to so many brands like Bose, Sonos, Harmon Kardon, JBL, Jam, Marshall. It beats them all.

I really am impressed with this little bluetooth speaker. For $100, and given its compact size, it sounds gorgeous and looks beautiful and refined. It doesn't have an internal battery, my mistake for thinking it did, but I still kept it.The bass response is impressive; the long-throw woofer can really punch given how small it is. The sound is very well-balanced and clean. It is easy to move around thanks to the well-designed handle. Bluetooth connection is fast and low-fuss. Aux works great. For sub-$100, it's a good deal comparatively. A no-nonsense, compact, sexy, great-sounding bluetooth speaker that packs a 4-inch long-throw woofer and 50hz (-6dB) low-frequency response.

This is the fourth audipro speaker to join my collection of audipro gear. I have been impressed with two things on all four. The sound quality is superb with great bass response and lovely smooth midrange throughout. The other brill feature is that they switch on and off automatically, so once they are setup they can be forgotten. Like most speakers, making sure they are in the optimum place in the room makes a difference to the end result. I don’t think there is any need to break them in, they sound great straight out of the box and stay that way.

Love this! it sounds great with both low and high volumes. Well balanced bass and treble. Simple yet attractive design with expensive looking touches such as the leather carrying handle and the aluminum control strip on top.. I am using it as a stationary speaker on top of a living room console as it doesn't have rechargeable batteries to allow it to be portable. The aux plug comes in handy as I paired this with a Google Home Mini and Google Chromecast Audio for voice control. Total price for all three is still way lower than a Google Home Max.

I was using a Bose SoundLink which has been good, but the difference with the T5 is very obvious. The T5 is a better speaker. Sound is more dynamic and full. I just love listening to my music which is quite an eclectic mix so I have put it through its paces - Jazz, Classical, Beatles, Classic Rock. Definitely very pleased with my T5. I had tried the C5 but like so many other people, I had some trouble with the App. Much less to go wrong with the T5 - just Aux. and Bluetooth. Definitely recommended.

Its looks brought me to this speaker but the quality of the sound matches the quality of the design. It does take a few hours to "break in" the high end (some choral music caused a bit of distortion at first), but the tone is rich, warm, and surprisingly full in a 10 x 20' room. This replaces some small studio monitors so I can say this isn't neutral by comparison but it sounds great with house, medieval, folk.... The USB port is practical and it paired with both my phone and laptop in a heartbeat.

Just be prepared for long periods of shock and awe as you gaze into the subwoofer. You can then stop pinching yourself (cause it hurts, see). This speaker is nothing short of phenomenal. Throw anything at it and it'll throw it back with scale, dynamics and timing attached. The presentation is clean and composed as is the overall performance. I'm gonna stop blabbing on now and listen to it some more. You'll want to do the same!!

This is an amazing bluetooth speaker. I received it as a gift for playing music via bluetooth in my living room. It produces really clear, well-balanced sound and keeps that balance even at low levels, so you don't miss out on the bass when it's on quietly. It's not a boomy bass response either, it just produces sound evenly across the whole spectrum, whether it's instrumental or vocals. Totally delighted with it.

I use it in the kitchen with my iphone and for the money it's amazingA little bass heavy however I did say it was in a kitchen so hardly an audiophiles dream there is a fair amount of detail and expression there for such a small speaker setNo issues with bluetooth in fact the range extended to another roomI was dancing along quite merrily while cooking let that be a measure of how good it sounds!
