I think these small sized active speakers are great - stylish, unobtrusive and very musically accurate, spacious and dynamic and emotionally communicative. I bought them to supplement my full size hifi system, to enable me to play lots of music without using up too much electricity (save the planet, save bills). I've got them some four inches away from a side wall in one half of my living room, to give the spacious bass some room to breathe, and about four feet apart, on a wooden shelf at roughly ear height when sitting down. I remember Audio Pro from many years back, when an upmarket hifi shop in London sold their sub-woofers as part of a top end hifi system, and I think they still inhabit that kind of quality territory.You can tell the quality of an active speaker and its electronics by how it responds to tweaking. The supplied connecting cables do a reasonable job, but just try replacing the speaker cable with a few feet of high definition cable at a few pounds a metre (e.g. from Richer Sounds) and WOW! Similarly, the speakers do a good job with Bluetooth, but using a wired connection noticeably improves the sound using the supplied 3.5mm interconnect between headphone socket of the sound source (in my case an Apple MacMini) and the 3.5mm output on the Audio Pro (try switching between "Standby" and "Auto On" at the back, as this made a big different in my unit to how the 3.5mm connection sounded.) Replacing the supplied 3.5m interconnect with a higher end cable I happened to have spare, again made a huge gain in sound quality. Its a shame Audio Pro don't recommend these simple upgrades - I guess they don't want to admit that the supplied interconnects are basic ones, and you can improve the sound with cable upgrades, but that is reasonable given the modest price of the speakers, and you really can make them shine with a couple of modest enhancements of this kind. Just shows the excellent quality of the speakers that they have a lot more to give. There is a What Hifi review of these speakers which finds them over-boomy in the base. That strikes me as unfair, and is certainly not my experience, although they certainly deliver very good bass. My tastes are mainly classical, and for this accuracy of sound is really important. My ears are tuned to really good quality equipment, and I am sold on these. Excellent product, and excellent value for money.

Fantastic speakers. Highly recommended. Superb clear sound with excellent treble and bass adjustments. It’s hard to believe such great sound comes from these relatively small boxes. I bought these T14 s and two pairs of the smaller T8Ls. All are excellent.
