I've bought other makes, (and more expensive) before, but for me,this is the best make. Excellent to run in.This is an update to my January review. After several months of minimal running, the insides of both trainers at the back of the heel are almost completely worn out. I certainly don't run marathons and will at best run five to ten miles a week. Very surprised that a quality make could be so inferior.

I've bounced around Nike and Adidas running trainers exclusively for a long time, to varying degrees of success, but my most recent Nike pair were awful. I decided to try Asics out as I've heard good things and they have not disappointed. My feet have never felt so supported and the overuse injuries I used to be prone to have not resurfaced, 200km in!

Overall a great shoe. I own this and a similar-period GT-2000. I can confirm that this shoe has all the same characteristics, just slightly less sturdy and supportive. I suspect the 2000 will last longer but these are a reasonable substitute from time to time, and make for a good cost/benefit alternative.

Excellent shoe, got as a Christmas present and completed my first park run today, very comfortable very good fit, love the colour and excellent grip on the ground, look forward to my next half marathon in March wearing these, will they make me run faster? I hope so lol

Really happy with the product. Have never bought shoes off amazon before, and was sceptical. However after seeing what I received I am extremely happy with the trainers. They are solid, look good and fit well. Will buy again.

I find these really comfortable. So much so I've bought a spare pair for when they wear out. I'm running with plantar fasciitis but these allow me to run and just suffer the pain afterwards.

I've use Asics running shoes for a approx. 15 years now, and they've never disappointed. Always comfortable, durable and good value for money.

Good quality, nice feel when running, snug but not uncomfortable around toes. Worth the money
