I have stuck with the Gel Cumulus since I started running, and just get a new pair of whatever-the-number-is-available when I've done roughly a year's running (I am not a marathoner, so a year and some months generally seems about fine) As I'm not bothered about the colour of my running shoe, I tend to get the size I need of the Cumulus in the cheapest available colour. So, year after year, I can buy off the peg.This 19 version though is definitely a little narrower. I had a new 18 which I had bought a while ago of specific colour to wear as a comfortable walking trainer, so was able to compare.I normally take a half size up for my Gel Cumulus running shoe, which is exactly what I have done here.

Bought these running shoes after research recommended them for people who run with supination. Previous running shoes have worn down the outside of the heel in a matter of weeks, running four times a week. The ASICS running shoes are not showing any signs of premature wear. I feel they have improved my running.I’m more than pleased with them.

I continue to be loyal to the Cumulus Generation as a short distance runner (10km). Again, the shoe fits perfectly. He was chosen one and a half sizes larger. Absolutely smooth running with good cushioning and ideal for mild pronation. Thank you very much for this product. The price is unbeatable, I do not have to mention again.

Fab looking product and seems well made etc and delivery was great. On the negative side, despite buying a size larger than needed this was too small. As people point out, the shoes run small in size. I'd suggest a size bigger for walking, 1.5 or 2 sizes bigger for running. That said, returns was a doddle and quick refund.

I've had Asics for years as my running shoe of choice and these are just as good as the rest. I always go at least half a size up than my normal daily shoes as feet get hot and expand when running. They are supportive around the ankle with enough room around the toes. Lots of bounce in the soles. Lovely pair of shoes.

Happy enough with those runners only I did expect to feel the benefit of the cushioning at the forefoot (as described in specifications) but I found the discontinued (unfortunately) 'Gel Indicate' which (to my knowledge) has only rear foot cushioning to be much more comfortable overall especially at the forefoot!

Very well cushioned. Wide toe-box. Recent purchase so can't speak for longevity. Poor fit. I have always bought Nike Pegasus in size 7 (moved away from them due to new style changes which I'm unhappy with) but needed 8.5(!!!) in Cumulus. Other than fit, happy with my purchase.

I have a size 40 and I bought the 41 1/2 and perfect! I do not go for a run but for long walks they are spectacular, they cushion a lot and besides they are beautiful! Enchanted with the purchase and much more with the price! I will continue buying insurance :)

I love these shoes! Very supportive and comfortable. This is my third pair of gel cumulus and I won't run in anything else now. They're not cheap but definitely worth it. I'm a 51/2 in shoes and bought size 7 which are just right for running.

I ordered half a size larger and whilst they do fit, maybe I should have gone a whole size higher. They are really comfortable though and whilst light and flexible, they feel supportive. Overall really pleased with these trainers.

I normal take a size 8 to 8.5 but these running shoes tend to be a bit on the small size so a 9.5 are just the right size for me. I would recommend getting a size bigger than you would usually take in this make of shoe

Recommend that you buy at least half a size up in this trainer, as they come up a bit smaller than your usual sizing. Apart from that, they are supportive and comfortable to run in (so far, as I have tested them).

All good - just the sizing like everyone else says - I’m a 5 and a half to 6 normally - I ordered 6 and a half and they only just got, I probably could have ordered a 7 really

Great runners. You need to size up for Asics. I'm usually a size 7 or I'd take a 41 in Ecco and I got an 8 in these Asics. I'd say an 8.5 wouldn't' have been too big either.

Fab trainer as always.... the 19s seem a slightly narrower fit than previous models however I love asics and are perfect for marathon training
