Set up is a problem as you input multiple passwords and passcodes, which makes it difficult to remember which is which thus quickly end up locked out. Three hours of attempts to access before being provided with opportunity to reset. Link to another computer/phone connected to iTunes required and another three hours to carry out. 2 hours of downloading with iTunes only willing to process access at 15 minutes max thus multiple accessing required to get download, then restart setup from scratch.

Combined with the pencil (which is mandatory in my opinion) makes this a joy for sketching and painting. It's even replaced my notepad in the office. I used to have a Surface Book but this walks all over it in terms of usability. iOS is the only real drawback (simple things like network file access or setting my default browser to Firefox are missing), and "real" work, like Excel, is a nightmare on a touch screen for anything over the basics, but overall a phenomenal computer for the arty type.

The most expensive tablet money can buy, but so worth it. It is a joy to use. I wouldn't bother with the keyboard, just get a laptop if you are going to do a lot of typing. But do get the Apple pencil ( 2nd generation - 1st generation will not work ). Writing notes or sketching on a 12.9 inch tablet is AMAZING. I'm not an artist by any means but this tablet makes you think you are one if you install the appropriate apps. And the screen is the best out there. I also recommend a screen protector.

This is a must for uni students. I’ve currently studying a law degree and this has been viral when it has come to writing essays. ‘Notability’ is an app that I’ve been able to utilise when screen shooting an online resource for an essay and adding all into to one specific area on the App. Then I just cut which paragraph I need and as it to the other cut out paragraphs that relate enabling me to write excellent essays and obtaining a first. Just brilliant. I also use this for my business.

The new iPad Pro 12.9 is a significant improvement over it’s predecessor. It’s smaller than the old one and, as a result, feels much better balanced and more portable. It’s an amazing device; the screen is incredible and allows real use of the split screen functions, the processor is seriously fast, and it’s all packaged in a lovely design that is now portable. The new pencil and case also help hugely in improving the overall package.If you can justify it, you won’t be disappointed!!

Really happy I bought this iPad. It has a fantastic 12.9" screen and the small bezel makes it physically smaller than the previous 12.9" iPads. It's super fast too and has great battery life. FaceID works really well and makes using it seamless and transparent. The sound quality is great too. Its a fantastic device for photo editing or for drawing with. The Pencil (sold separately) clips on magnetically to the side of the iPad - this also charges the pencil whilst it's attached.

So happy with my new iPad. As I’m not very good with new technology was a bit worried about setting it up But it was very easy and straight forward using my apple I phone to transfer all the data. Had no problems with the face recognition which works extremely well Was a bit undecided about going for the larger screen as thought it might be a bit combersome Bt no problems it’s easy to handle and not too heavy and the larger images and vibrant colours are amazing

The iPad Pro is absolutely incredible! anew design is brilliant, faceID fast to unlock and I also bought the Apple Pencil 2 with this so as a designer this is a brilliant bit of kit allowing me to draw / sketch / design but also allows me to do everything else on top such as Email, web browsing, games and entertainment. Expensive but that’s Apple, and you pay for what you get which is quality. I just hope iOS 13 is built allowing more features for pro devices

The sleek design and the new enhanced screen leaves you with you with a staisfied feeling you have bought the best apple ipad since it came into the market. With longer battery power faster cpu it makes it breeze playing games listening to music or watever you fancy doing. With the new type c charger you are not restricted to apple old lightning cable. This item almost puts the macbook pro to shame, Ill recommend this for anyone.

I prefer iPads over all the touch screen tablets, yes they are expensive, however, you get a very responsive tablet that a three year old can navigate.Love the size of the screen, it took me a while to get used to no home button, but now I love itIt is very versatile, you can use it for work or play, when teamed with a blue tooth keyboard you have laptop performance.Very happy with it.’

Thing is Apple do things well. Trust me you are paying for it with this latest offering but it ticks all the boxes Bought as a Christmas gift for my wife who is travelling a lot at the moment it is greatPicture quality and usability are fabulous There is always a question about Apple products battery life but I suppose that is balanced by usage Overall very satisfied

As a long time android fan, I've never thought about using an ipad. However wanting to get back into art and after watching many reviews, I was set on buying one. I absolutely love it, its so easy to use, looks great, good quality speakers. The portability on the 12.9 inch can be a little annoying but the sacrifice for a bigger screen is worth it! Very impressed all around!

I paid just over 1600 for my iPad pro which included the pen cover and insurance, after looking around I was happy to go with Argos after a few trys I recived all at the same time!!! BUT ALL were wroung eg... Pen was old pen iPad wasn't cellular which I asked for but kept them all for my daughter then orded mine from Apple still has a few problems so had trouble both places

This is my first tablet and I'm so pleased I plucked up the courage to dish out my hard earned money for this impressive piece of kit. Very pricey but worth it in the end. Got the Pencil and the Smart keyboard as accessories. Overall if you want the best in speed, battery life and multitasking you can't go wrong with the new iPad Pro.Very highly recommended!

The 2018 12.9” iPad Pro may not be a laptop replacement for everyone but for those who do not necessarily need specialist apps or complex document manipulation it is a very viable proposition. The latest 2018 models have very fast processors and perform well as a result. The now slimmer 12.9” model is probably better suited as a laptop alternative.
