Even though I am a big fan of Spigen, I actually went through many cases (Otterbox Defender [solid protection but too bulky and not pen compatible], MoKo Smart Folio [pretty but don't feel safe], Maxjoy [poor quality], ESR Yippee Trifold [poor quality]) to end up with Spigen Tough Armor case. I am a graduate student who takes a lot of notes. The iPad Pro is my primary device for studying and entertainment. The reasons I picked this case were:1. Kickstand2. Thin and light3. Works with penThis case doesn't add too much bulk or weight to the iPad. I can just throw the iPad into my bag and run with it. (I do have a screen protector.) I feel really safe about my iPad in this case.

It really should not be this hard, but I had to buy four cases before I found this one, and it's great.I use my iPad Pro partly for the usual media consumption but also professionally in talking to patients. I need my device to be easy to move, and not wiggle about when I'm pointing at things on the screen. I also wanted a case that does not add too much bulk or weight.Tried a couple that didn't work. Then bought one I'd had a lot of luck with before, but now they added a non-removable screen protector that just makes the device feel cheap and less responsive.Finally got to this one and it checks all the boxes. Reasonable protection, easy to use, stands at a good angle for my desired uses,

If you're getting JUST the case, then I would give this a 5 star rating. But because I also got a screen protector, this thing wasn't compatible with it. If it was literally a millimeter shorter on the sides, the screen protector would be fine. It was pressing against the screen protector and lifting it. Now for the benefit of the doubt, maybe I had an incompatible screen protector. I returned this product and got another case and that worked fine with my screen protector.I think manufacturers should test their products with a slew of screen protectors. My logic is that if someone is going to buy a case, then there's a decent chance that same person which wants to protect their investment will also invest in a screen protector.

Just received this case today and although I can’t speak to the long term durability I can answer some questions I had while reading through previous reviews.- yes it fits with a Zagg Glass screen protector (if applied perfectly centered)- no it doesn’t cover up the front facing camera for face it- Apple Pencil functions and fits perfectly in original location- hand fits perfectly behind the stand for one handed use- only one tilt level (which I personally think is perfect at its current level)- yes there is a significant buffer zone from the screen to a surface with the raised edgesOverall very happy with it and for the price compared to some other brands, can’t beat it.

Nice craftsmanship on this case/cover.It looks very well protected by both (1) front screen scratches by having a small raised lip on the front and (2) corner padding for if/when I drop it.Great grip when holding it or carrying it around.So, I am happy with the purchase.A few improvements needed:The kick stand is too flimsy and mine does not retract nicely flat back into the case. If I push on it really hard I can get it to snap back in, but then it is really hard to get it back out. Worrying I will break it soon.Assembly wasn't as smooth as I've had with cases like this on my Microsoft Surface or my other tablets/phones. When pushing the iPad into the case the edges really fight you on trying to not end up in their proper position.

Perfect for I pad pro. The pen does not stay real secure if you are carrying it around so we purchased a slip on holder and added to the back for when we need another way to secure it without losing it. It is very sturdy and sits at the perfect angle when viewing. There are not a lot of choices for the iPad Pro with this generation of ipen where you have to charge it at the top. We purchased a different one first but it did not lean back far enough to watch the screen without worrying about it flipping forward. This one was perfect.

Great slim protection for your pad only complaint is you can’t get a glass protector for the front to fit with the case!Saved my iPad the other day, was having a quick shufty at a certain web page when my Mrs walked in, I was already operating with just one hand when the shock made me launch the iPad in the air whilst trying to adjust my underpants region but this case saved my iPad from clattering to the ground. Mrs was proud of the performance of the case but not so much in my one handed self loving shenanigans ?♂️

I really like this case much more than the Zugu I previously ordered. This Spigen case has much firmer edges near the speaker cut outs and I like that it's a kickstand instead of a floppy folio that's going to pickup dust from a table and rub it onto the screen. I can also use the stand as a grip if I want a more confident hold. I intend to get a good traveling bag which will keep the screen clean and protected when not in use. Can't beat the price for the quality either.

Good case overall, I mean I always expect good product from spigen. It’s slim and very durable, I had iPad Pro in my book bag and totally forgot that I had it in there and when I came home from work I dropped my book bag on the floor and realized my iPad was in there but with the case nothing happened. It’s great. I definitely recommend and it has a nice little kickstand. :)

I love this case so far. It feels great in the hands and keeps the iPad protected really well. No issues either with the pencil because there is a cutout for it to adhere to. Overall if you’re looking for a non folio case I’d say this is the best one on the market so far. This case adds almost no bulk and feels super sturdy in hand. Another great product from Spigen.

Purchased after having already cracked and repaired my iPad Pro, 3rd Gen. Have not tested for new round of durability (ouch). Easy to put on but tight, which is good. Only regret is that it doesn't have a front flap to protect the screen. When I place it in my bag, the constant touching of the screen activates the tablet all the time.

When I bought this it didn’t have any reviews but I knew spigen was a good brand so I bought it anyway, and it didn’t disappoint. I just received the case and I like it so far, it doesn’t feel cheap and the hard plastic has a nice soft touch matte coating. The parts that make the kickstand are very sturdy feeling. I would reccomend.

Nice case thought it was a wee bit heavy to start with, but now it’s just my iPad in a case. The stand holds the iPad in position no matter what why I am sitting or lying down. The hinge feels a bit flimsy but only time will tell if it’s going to fail so far I’m impressed with this case.

Nice looking case,but it’s a tight fit and I was frightened to death putting this case on thinking I’d break my tablet putting it on,even worse when removing case from my iPad..once fitted it does feel sturdy but adds a lot of weight and bulk to a large 12.9 ipad

I exclusively buy Spigen touch armor tech designs for my iOS devices. They have consistently made cases that are ergonomic, nicely designed, and feel good in the hand. The stand seems sturdy enough after a few months of use, and I overall like the product a lot.
