Very fast delivery. The item has a great quality screen. Is quick in menu and installing plus running apps. You have a 32GB storage built in should be enough but after the operating system has been installed it leave you with about 25+/-GB free for your apps etc. I installed a 64GB microsd card so I could load things onto it. The speakers on the bottom are good for a tablet and if they sound a bit muffled tune the tablet round so speakers are at the top it sounds better. Charging time is ok for a tablet this big. I would have liked a usb "c" socket and plug that way it didn't matter which way round you plugged the power adapter into the tablet. But the tablet comes with mini usb socket and power adapter so you have to make sure you put the power adapter into the tablet socket the right way. Maybe the next version of tablet will have usb "c".The tablet came with android 8.0 which is good to say we are on Android 9.1 going onto 10 soon, so the tablet isn't to far behind. The tablet has a metal back with a little bit of plastic at the top for the antennae the metal back can be cold so I put the tablet into a fold case and placed a screen protector on the front of the tablet this should help it last a few years. The tablet has an earphone socket but no earphones come with the tablet, The tablet on the right side has volume up and down then next to that a power button. On the left side is the sdcard slot, what you get in the box is a power adapter, the tablet, a usb cable for charging with power adapter enclosed and a pin for popping out the sdcard holder on the side so you can insert the memory card. Not forgetting a warranty document and user guide.Huawei do good warranty lengths in UK on all their products. The tablet comes with all the Google bits like Gmail etc plus Facebook etc and Google playstore. So at your convenience you can uninstall all you don't want ie; Facebook. The tablet has a front facing camera and a back camera I usually put a small amount of insulation. Tape over the front camera for privacy. I can't see the point of a front facing camera on a tablet. As for security Huawei use on their system a diagnostic software and antivirus called avast it runs in the background but if you want to add on of your own you can. So on the whole would I recommend this tablet yes it's good specs for the price and well built But I would recommend a case and screen protector for it. It doesn't come with a pen and the tablet doesn't have the facility for a pen to be used however you can use one of the rubber ended pens you use on phone or tablets or dobbers as I call them.

I was a little apprehensive purchasing an android tablet having had my fingers burned in the past by high-spec Samsung offerings however I'm really happy with my M5 Lite so far. Battery performance is the standout feature for me, I'm currently on day 4 after a single charge allowing for 2-3 hours browsing per night and the battery is still reading over 40% The sound quality is crazy for a tablet, all four speakers are punching far above their weight whether you are looking at an all-action flick or listening to music. Screen is nice, not Apple or Samsung nice but decent (16:10 aspect ratio, 1920 x 1200 resolution btw) Individual pixels are visible which is a slight disappointment but this isn't a £1000 tablet, and you have to look close to see them anyway. Camera is lousy but who uses one to take pics? Performance wise everything is smooth, no delays when opening/closing apps, browsing multiple web pages, playing games, etc. Really happy with that. Lastly there is very little in the way of bloatware on the M5 and what little is there can be deleted. For the money this is a really nice tablet, certainly when you see the prices of stuff by Huawei's competitors which truth be told offer little more except a higher pixel count and apps that probably open all of a second faster. Highly recommended.

I liked the specification of this tablet, it comes with Android 7.0 which is still not the norm, to replace my ageing Tesco Hudle 2 and now that I have got used to it it does everything that I want from a tablet. It takes an SD to expand the memory and I transferred the one from my Hudle and all the data was available on the T3.The Android 7 has been fairly heavily modified and some of the features have a negative impact. In particular Apps cannot be transferred to the SD card and annoyingly Smart unlock does not have the option to keep the device unlocked at a location but only when in range of a paired Bluetooth device. On the plus side it can access a USB Flash Drive connected to the micro USB port via a 'on the go'cable which I have not been able to do on Samsung and Lenovo devices.Battery life is excellent and negligible drain in sleep mode means that 2 - 3 days of normal use is not unusual. Clear bright screen.Other features are a drop down settings menu available by a down swipe, and when locked some Apps such as calculator and camera can be accessed by an up swipe without unlocking. All in all more pluses than minuses make this a very usable budget tablet.

Amazing tablet but don't be deceived by the expandable memory as it won't let you install apps on the memory card, disappointed as it's the only reason I got this tablet and as I don't work and actually paid a lot more than this on a different site, this is a lot of money to me, and even if I did want to return it I couldn't as I struggle to leave the house due to mental health issues. Shame because whilst researching how to move apps to sd card, other Huawei tablets allow this function apparently? The screen is great, lovely and big, never freezes up even when memory is full and apps open quickly, it has silent and vibrate mode like a phone and the green flashing light like a phone to show you have a notification. You can put a SIM card in and it also has themes. The volume is nice and loud through headphones and the screen is very bright and clear. When you look at your notifications at the top, it says how much memory you have free on the device. There's also a few things on it for children. Such a lovely upgrade from my Amazon Fire Tablet. Haven't tried the camera yet.

It's the little things in life really. Finding a pound coin when you fancy a bag of crisps. Air con in a shop on a hot day. A car air freshner you actually think could work as an aftershave. A pattern on your kitchen roll. Heavenly. The same principle applies when you buy a tablet and it just does everything you want it to do with no fuss, no tantrums, no stuttering, no blackouts and no one sided arguments. It just does. It's not the fastest in the whole world. It's not the shiniest. It's not the most arrogant. It's not even quite 10 inches BUT......it's a good friend. Reliable. Interesting. Sharp. Precise. Responsive. Forgiving. Comforting. Informative. Entertaining. Smooth. Absorbing. Funny.Thought provoking. Reflective. It casts...but no aspersions. It updates....but never gossips. It's comfortable in it's own skin...but never arrogant. It's suggestive....but never rude. It learns.....but doesn't preach. We will be fine. Oh yes, we will be fine.

Have had this tablet for about 2 weeks now and it doesn't disappoint! No problems with speed, several apps open, Web browsing etc. The sound is amazing and the battery seems to hold up pretty well too (similar to my Huawei P10 Plus phone). The screen is great too, really crisp. However be prepared for Huawei's iPhone style home screen, icons and for the bloatware! There is quite a bit here including games you can't remove. Quite a bit of the 32GB storage is taken up from the get go. I had a 32GB SD card handy though, so that's an idea. I also installed a custom launcher which allowed me to hide the apps I wouldn't use and design the home screen the way I want it to be.I have yet to take the tablet traveling though.Primarily bought it for watching Netflix etc. as Apple stopped doing the app for my old iPad.Overall I'd really recommend this tablet! I'd say if you are into heavy gaming though, better go with the regular Mediapad M5.

Bought this tablet to be able to watch Netflix whilst away on holiday and sprawled on my bed instead of sitting at a desktop computer. The crispness of the graphics & display is very good. Absolutely crystal. Streams Netflix via my home wifi brilliantly. BUT, there are 2 things I would advise buying at the same time of buying this.1. There is no slot on this for an internet SIM so I would advise buying a Mobile Wifi for it to connect to if you want to use the internet where you have no access or hot spot.2. Before you download anything (and i mean anything) buy a 128GB Micro SD card and change your settings for this to be your default. The internal storage is already virtually full with the tablets resources and there is not much room left on there.I've only used this for downloading & streaming Netflix at present so can't comment on how it plays games etc, but very happy with the quality so far.

Not long had this, but I have ran some stress tests and am quite into my tech, this won't perform like any of the high end tablets however, it does beat a lot of tablets that are within the same price range, with decent hardware and a good strong exterior this tablet is a great bit of kit to have on the go, weather you just want to check emails, social media, YouTube or simply game, this has everything covered. The lower resolution isn't that big of a problem, things still look great and crisp, but the best feature is the battery, it will last almost a full day when playing games, if you just use it to check emails or social media, it will easily last you two days on a single charge, this is mainly achieved by the low resolution and optimisation done within the software. Over all it's a great experience for the price. I wouldn't go for a cheaper option, this is worth the money.

After the sad demise of my beloved Hudl 2 (the battery was expanding, forcing the casing to split apart!), my wife told me to stop suffering with a bursting tablet and just get a new one. After lots of research, and too much indecision, I settled on the Huawei, and I am simply over the moon. The performance is excellent, display is gorgeous and rich, sound quality great (but amazing with a set of Bluetooth speakers), and the transfer of data and apps from the Hudl 2 was almost completely automatic. It's worth every penny, but I would recommend getting a case (see my case review elsewhere) just to keep it protected from errant dogs, cats, and occasional falls.I would heartily recommend the Huawei to anyone looking for a decent Android tablet - especially if, like me, you're not interested in apple hype.

The built quality and finish on this tablet is outstanding at it's price point. Not to mention the internals which are more than good enough for the majority of peoples needs. The display is beautiful and proves that 2k resolution on a 10" tablet is completely unnecessary. The sound quality is very impressive for such a thin body. I can happily watch tv or a movie on this tablet without having to strain to hear the dialog clearly or those higher frequencies blending into one flat washed out sound. Battery life is also great and it will easily last a full day of intensive use on just one charge. I'd recommend this to anyone who is looking for a sleek and desirable all in one tablet for productivity, watching tv/movies and playing games.

Loving this. While on standby the battery stays pretty much where you left it. And in use it easily lasts over a day even with moderate/high use. The processor is very nippy too.I bought the stylus (m-pen lite) separately (£32) which if you like drawing is highly recommended. Make sure you get the official pen. I initially bought a cheaper alternative capacitive pen which didn't work at all.The weight too is comfortable, not too heavy. All the noise about not installing apps into the sd card in my opinion is just the fuffle of specification spotters. Unless you intend to run a billion games you'll be fine with 32Gb for apps.I've also seen an OTA software update in March 2020 so this is stillbeing actively supported.

I have the M5 pro and got 2 of the M5 lite for each of my grandkids, fantastic spec for an apparently mid range tablet and such a good price.Good points,Kirin 710 octa-core processor, stereo speakers , Android 9 Pie, 13-megapixel camera on the back, 8-megapixel camera on the front, full HD resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, with a good battery life.Bad Points,The 2019 version has the older USB type connector, it also does not support Huawei Quick charging like my M5 Pro.So all in all a good all round tablet, will play most games due to its decent spec with quite a good solid build quality.By far the best value for under £200.

This tablet is case of you get what you pay for. It's decent enough for the price just don't expect anything ground breaking. I bought it as it was relatively cheap but had half decent specs. As it was bought so the kids could watch movies, YouTube and play a few simple games I would say it does the job. Pros it's fast enough for what iv thrown at it and it appears to be well built. The cons would be the screen is pretty low Res but passable, and the charging is slow. But this could be because I'm used to using high end phones with great screens and rapid charging. Bottom line the kids like it so I'm happy.

Bought as a replacement to my tab 3 I have had over 3 years. Yes screen isn't as vibrant and doesn't feel as premium as Samsung or other brands but 2gb ram and SD card space has given me enough storage to be useful enough to hold all my apps for work and play.Good solid basic tablet that will do the job as long as your not trying to overload the processor which with every bit of tech will big it down.So far so good and I am happy.Picked up on a deal as I didn't want to spend on an unknown brand elsewhere with better specs which are available on here but for far beyond my budget .

Very good value. Screen and sound quality are above standard. And pen (if you buy one seperately) is a great feature on a mid range tablet. Some may find the system a little dated if they are used to top of the range as it's android version is 8, but backed up by EMUI it's perfectly fine. It's build is unusual in that it's made to be used in landscape, with the camera and fingerprint reader on the long edges, and the buttons on the short edges. Just takes a bit of getting used to.Love Huawei devices, you get so much more for the price, wish they'd make up with Google for newer devices.
