Only used on video mode so far. Very pleased with quality, especially surprisingly good image in infrared/night mode.Instructions could be clearer but sufficiently easy to follow given time to read.At present using on batteries. Mounting post included only just sufficient to carry weight of camera with batteries (if mounting to wall rather than around tree/post) and wing nuts need to be tightened very tightly to avoid camera moving/swinging out of position.Need large memory card as detects all warm blooded movement. Device says use max of 32GB card but using 64GB card without any issues - and more room to store data.Screen in device rather small to view all details in video but scales up well

Excellent garden/wildlife cam but it uses 8 AA batteries. They last approx. 12 hours depending on however much movement is being recorded. We have a rat problem so I am only using it overnight, from just as it starts to get dark till around 5.30am when I retrieve it. I found that, on the 2nd night I used it, I didn't get anything at all (except a low battery warning, which I should have heeded I suppose). Also, I have the cam set up to record short movies, so battery mileage may differ if I changed it to take single images instead. If I ever change the set up and if I am able to edit this review, I shall pass on my findings.

I have been using this product for a couple of weeks now in my garden. It does the job with no fuss. The batteries seem to last quite well. (I purchased a similar product from another supplier and it ate the batteries over night, so I returned it for a refund.) There is an attachment for screwing to a tree or post, as well as a strap which I use. you can angle the camera better that way. So, very pleased with my purchase.

The instructions are all there but bit confusing. The instructions says calibrate but really means check that it's in the right place. I am using it with a 6 volt power supply but it does work with batteries, bit expensive to use like that but if no mains available no choice. It has to be set to TEST in order to view pictures, SD cards can be used in a PC to view results.

For a low cost product ( compared to others I have seen), this works well. My only concern is the lack of focusing ability. High quality shots from about 4 ft away. Would have liked a closer focus option for bird table. HD does mean I can enlarge however so all in all a good purchase. Like the still, video, and combined still/video options.

Used the camera for a few nights and very impressed with its quality/price ratio - a tripod helped me get the camera in the right place and distance from the desired area.Last night it stayed out in a thunderstorm and downpour and I can confirm it is indeed waterproof

We purchased this camera as we where having damage to our lawn,I said it may be a fox but my partner though it might have been a Badger. Second night of use and caught a Owl, Fox and Badger in our garden. It seems we where both rightGreat fun.

The instructions are so poor, with print that is tiny and printed grey on white. Not all of us have 20/20 vision. Why do manufacturers do this?In fairness I did manage to download a decentset of instructions

This camera has enabled us to identify the wildlife visiting our garden. The night time vision is OK but a little restricted. However in daylight the pictures are excellent.

Parts of the manual need to be read carefully when setting particularly the bit about formatting. I have a slow brain so it may well be me
