a webcam to use on ZOOM and SKYPE, as the culture in my workplace is to always use video calling and the integrated webcam in my laptop had crappy, pixelated quality. - Sharpness, Contrast and colours are WAY BETTER than expected- Wide Angle View Video looks so much PROFESSIONAL as it includes me as well as my monitor. - Plug and Play: I connected it to a USB port and Windows 10 set it up automatically in few seconds without needing any drivers. Then I was able to select this webcam in ZOOM and SKYPE video settings. I have also used it on another computer using USB C port with an existing USB-to-USB-C adaptor, and it works fine there as well I had it set up and running in minutes.Literally just plug and play. I tested the camera and played around with the adjustable settings which are very easy to adjust with a short turn of the lens.It gives a really sharp picture especially of your face and the reddish hue that you sometimes get is not apparent on this model and it offers a natural looking aspect with good sound quality. Compared with the built in webcam in the decent spec Dell laptop I did the tests on it's a revelation. MUCH crisper, better colour balance and better audio; wider field of view. A massive improvement and a perfect example of why everyone should get a standalone camera (that and not wanting other people to look up at you chin and nose).Picture is very wide angle, whilst there is a bit of fisheye, I can see this being particularly useful for those that want to get a bigger field of view. The manual focus is rather useful actually.I have included a picture comparing this webcam to 3 others I had, same lighting conditions and their default driver setup (I put them all on the laptop and took a photos at the same time using SkyStudioPro). The fish-eye effect is quite noticeable, probably a bit more than I expected. I am now questioning the benefit of having the extra width, when I wouldn't really want to use the edges of the camera to demonstrate any dance steps, as my body would look deformed. The most disappointing thing by far is the microphone. I had made a test video to demonstrate this, but my previous attempt at posting this review war rejected and I think it might be because of the background music I was playing, so I won't post it again. But trust me when I say that my Logitech webcam, which is a very old, low-cost model, has a far superior microphone, with much clearer sound even from far away. The Wansview's supposed "dual microphone" makes both music and voice sound muffled from close-up and almost inaudible from just 10 feet away - and this is with maximum volume set up in both Windows and Zoom itself, so it's impossible to make it any louder. The Logitech by contrast is set up at about 70% volume and it's much louder. As soon as I plugged it to my Windows PC via USB2, it connected. I was pleasantly surprised by the clear sharp picture which is better than most webcams I have had. It sits firmly on top of my screen and/or rests on the desktop comfortably

This webcam is simple to use and works immediately without the need to install any software or drivers - great for those who don't want any fuss.Pros:- 1080p HD webcam- Built in microphone works OK for voice calls- Tripod stand supplied in the box- No drivers or software required - plug and playCons:- Stand is not as sturdy as it looks- Not very good in low light conditionsIn the box you also get a tripod stand in addition to the webcam. It screws into a standard tripod thread and allows you to point the webcam at almost any angle - useful if you don't want to attach the webcam to the top of your monitor. Otherwise, you can rest it on the top of your monitor but this wont be an option for you if you have a very thin monitor bezel. It overlaps part of my display but as I sit below the camera it does not obscure the screen. After plugging in the camera, windows immediately detected it and it was visible in Skype, Zoom, Discord and OBS Studio - plug and play. You do not need to download any software. The built in microphone was also picked up by all of my programs and works well enough for voice calls.Image quality is HD as promised although limited to 30fps at most. This is definitely enough for video calls on Skype or Zoom, and should be OK for live streaming too. Autofocus definitely helps.Low light performance is lacking; this is unfortunately an issue with most webcams other than the highest end models. Try to have a ceiling light above you if you are not sitting near a window. This webcam should be enough for most people - streamers will probably want to pick up a higher end model if they don't have bright lighting available.

I had the chance to try several products from Trust and so far I am very satisfied with what they have on offer. I decided to go for this webcam as I had negative experiences with other cheap webcams in the past. All in all, this webcam really exceeded my expectations and helped me engage in video calls on my desktop computer, which I usually don't do.The webcam is very decent in terms of build quality. It feels sturdy and the plastic doesn't feel cheap or ill-manufactured. It can easily be adjusted on the monitor thanks to the adjustable fitting part that is stuck to the webcam body. It can also stand on a mini tripod.Trust have kindly included a mini tripod but you might opt for a taller one if required. The webcam was detected straight after I connected it to my computer. It seems like there is a fitted microphone as well but I don't use it as I have a professional one. The webcam is detected by all apps and websites and I didn't face any issues with connectivity so far.The image quality is very acceptable. It would definitely do the job for daily meetings or any activity that involves video calls. However I wouldn't really recommend it if you are streaming games, I would suggest getting a DSLR instead. The webcam has auto-focus and does a light bokeh when there is enough light. When it comes to sharpness, this is where this webcam loses one star as image quality isn't very sharp. It does the job but it could have been better.

Since Zoom/Skype calls are quickly becoming the new norm for students and workers to communicate (due to the effects of the pandemic), this will quickly become an essential piece of equipment to have. I decided to pick this up as Trust products are typically very good quality and well priced. This Webcam is no exception. The video and picture quality is great, and I love how versatile this webcam is! You can attach it to the top of your monitor/laptop via a fixture (which won’t scratch/damage screen/backing of your device due to a foam material on the interior of the fixture) or alternatively, screw it into a small included tripod that can be positioned anywhere on your workspace.I love how the webcam auto-focuses on your face and also pics up audio relatively well. Although this is expected for a £50 webcam. The design of the webcam is compact and smart, however very lightweight. This will ensure that the webcam won’t strain and put pressure on the hinges of your laptop. It’s also easy to store away when not in use which is a great bonus. Very easy to setup, simply plug and play! :)You can’t go wrong with purchasing this in my opinion, it’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for. It even comes with a 2 year warranty if you’re unsatisfied with the product.

During the covid19 era and the lockdown having a relaible webcam is a must for all the work meetings and also family meetings.Pros:This is a sturdy good looking webcam. It's very easy to setup, just plug it in and play (my OS is widows 10). Only remember to change the designated camera in the settings of the application you use (e.g. Skype, Viber, teams, etc) to this camera!Picture quality is very good (but nothing too especial)! The camera has 2 hinges that gives it good maneuverability. Additionally, there is a nice little stand that is included and makes the camera even easier to move and adjust. You can also mount thos camera on other standard camera stands you may have. The camera sits on top of your screen but it is very handy to mount the camera on the stand and just place the it on your desk.It comes with 2-year warranty with proof of purchase. A good piece of mind. There is no manual in the box but you can download a manual online from www.trust.comI have found to trust the brand Trust! They make wood quality computer accessories. I have their gaming mouse too and that is also a solid high quality gaming mouse.Highly recommended! No cons! (Maybe a little pricey! But you get what you pay for!)

Without a doubt this is a very good webcam with a generous 1.5m USB cable. The webcam comes with a useful tripod with extendable legs and adjustability for the camera angle. The quality of the materials used in the construction is good, it feels solid and well put together.I placed my on top of the monitor, had a few issues getting it to stay there but eventually got it to stay put. The padded bracket prevent any marking of the monitor. In my photo the camera is slightly overlapping my screen but I did get it further up out of the screens view. The picture is perfect. Full HD 1920 x 1080 at 30fps. Recording and streaming was spot on along with a test video call.Microphone was clear and is good enough for general video calling however I do prefer my own microphone! The auto focus works well and the camera adjusts when the background light levels were adjusted. There are many webcams that offer full HD at 30fps with a lot lower price tag, I've actually had some, but there is a picture quality difference with this webcam along with the auto focusing and auto white balancing that works well. I would use it for streaming, whereas the cheaper cameras, not so much.Definitely recommended

I bought this camera in the UK Amazon store because of a good discount. I was looking for a second camera in addition to my Logitech C930e, which is really excellent but way too expensive for spending money on again. There are also many 'dirt cheap' weird-branded cameras available on Amazon, but none of them offer autofocus and most have mediocre reviews on Youtube. I bought the Trust Taxon QHD for about 45 GBP. Adding shipping and import fee deposit, my total in Euro was 62, which is still way better than the >100 I would have to pay in the NL Amazon storeThe Taxon QHD doesn't disappoint! Compared to the Logitech, it has a more narrow viewing angle and under lower light conditions, the image becomes softer and more noisy. Also, the microphone sounds a bit more 'hollow' in the living room. But overall, considering the low price compared to the Logitech and under good light and good acoustics, the Taxon QHD really should be on the top of your list if you need a good webcam with autofocus. I would recommend this camera easily to anyone needing a better camera than the one in the laptop.

The best feature of this webcam is that I look my natural self in video calls. My Surface Pro's camera makes me look as orange as a pumpkin! This webcam solves this problem because it has built in automatic white balance that adjusts to any lighting condition. I used in low lighting and it worked fine.Very easy to set up – plug and play using a USB port and the cable' is loong. would certainly allow for the most elaborate setups. The camera comes with a durable lightweight aluminium stand (that is not expandable) but can also be fitted to the laptop/PC’s screen using a clip-like manner. The whole camera is lightweight which is good as it won’t damage the screen.Video quality is excellent for Skype,Zoom, Google Suite, MS Teams, WhatsApp and I tested on all those. The picture is clear and there is no fuzziness or distortions. There’s also a built in microphone that reproduces voice clearly – but its not the best for recording.I would highly recommend this camera – it works as it should.

This is a fantastic quality webcam, To get started all you have to do is plug it in and within seconds its ready to be used, I did have to change the camera i was using in the settings because my laptop has a integrated camera so it opts for this one first. The build quality is really good and very sturdy, it comes with the the mount itself which can also go flat to be placed on a desk or a nice little handy tripod which is great if you do not want to have the webcam attached to your laptop/pc screen. The picture was really crisp and clear and is a big upgraded compared to the current webcam i am using,The mic works well and picks up easily.I did notice its hard to tell when the camera is on or off as there is no LED light to indicate this but this not a big deal. The wire is plenty long enough meaning you are not limited to where you place the webcam when using the tripod which is helpful.Overall i think this is really good quality, stylish looking and is reasonably priced.

I found this literally as simple as plug *and play.*My laptop is nearly ten years old. HP Pavilion Sleekbook running Windows 8. It did take a while before it got to the play part, but that's purely down to what my laptop is running, not the webcam itself. The picture quality is outstanding. It focused really well. Brilliant clarity and definition. It gave a true likeness of my face. It works well in artificial light conditions. It didn't really attach that securely to my laptop screen. I didn't have enough width above the screen for it not to impinge slightly on the screen. I prefer to use the tripod. But other models might be a lot better for it.The build quality is good.It looks high quality with decent materials used to manufacture it. The tripod is not the same standard but is still decent enough. The camera looks great, sleek and modern.

This is a great little webcam that you can either clip onto your laptop or you can position it anywhere on a flat surface via a tripod stand that is included with this webcam. The overall quality is very good, the resolution of this webcam is 1080p and with its auto-focusing feature, you will always get a clear picture. The audio too is crisp and clear making this webcam one of the better ones that I have used recently. This webcam is very good for webinars, and online conferencing and it is even better for someone like me who isn’t tech-savvy. This is a webcam that is simply ”plug and play”. No messing around with software or another programming. With this webcam, you can simply rely on it,and like its name; you can also “Trust” it.

I got this for use with Microsoft Teams to do remote teaching on my desktop PC, which doesn't have a webcam. I was initially a bit concerned the webcam would cover some of the screen, which was the case in some of the photos in the reviews. However, it is easy to move into a position where it doesn't on my Dell monitor. Really thin screen borders may struggle but I have a 1cm border which is fine. It works really well. Video is smooth and high definition, and audio is clear. I haven't used the tripod but it was a nice addition. However, there is no light to know that it is turned on. I have been a bit paranoid about this - but you can disable it and re-enable it when needed in the Device Manager.Overall a great piece of kit.

Trust Tyro webcam is really nice. Now during this lockdown, work from home made me realize the need for a quality webcam. I thought my laptop webcam is sufficient enough in case of a need to make video call. But compared to Tyro webcam, my laptop camera is very poor.Tyro webcam can make good quality video. The inbuilt mic is also better than my laptop one. I have clipped it on top of my laptop camera. It comes with a tripod, which can also be used to hoist the camera. There is no software for the Trust so it is literally plug and go provided you have the relevant applications.Autofocus is another good feature in the camera. It works well on this webcam.I am satisfied by its performance.Recommended!

This was very easy to set up - i have been using it on W10 PC for MS Teams video calls. It is an improvement on the integral camera on my Yoga Thinkpad - and also works better because I am looking into camera on my second monitor. It is wide angle with slight fish eye effect which is not ideal for single person use - but for family skype could be an advantage. It is not high definition - being limited to 30fps, but that is good for band width and fine for video calls. The main problem I have is that the mic is poor. Low sensitivity, even fairly close up voices are not clear. I have external mics connected, so not a deal breaker for me - but might be if you want an all in one solution.

This webcam has come in very handy at a time where a lot of meetings/video calls are happening remotely. I have a webcam on my laptop but the quality isn’t very good and is quite grainy. This webcam is very easy to set up- just plug and play. It hooks over the top of my laptop, and also comes with a tripod so you could position it how you want it. The quality of it is very good and much much better than the camera that is built in my laptop. The picture is very clear and it has a built in microphone also, so sound is also nice and clear.Would recommend to those working from home and doing lots of zoom/Skype meetings, or also just to use to connect with family.
