I was looking for a webcam recently and came across this nifty package as I needed one that's compatible with Skype - apparently some webcams have issues with Skype. While it is admittedly not the best on the market it is at the same time not the worst and more than adequately does the job.It comes packaged with software that allows you to have funny, interesting (and sometimes annoying - depending on who's looking at you) themes as a background while you're using the webcam. My favourites would have to be the creepy crawlies, the photo frame on a desk and the fire one where any kind movement causes a flame-like effect to appear on the part of your body that is moving.Not only does it come with software to liven up webcam chats but also a free headphone & mic - with lapel clip.

I bought this webcam from Amazon for a paultry 10 quid, which is an excellent deal, and very much a no-brainer.Installation from the CD-rom took a surprising 20 minutes to install 200Mb of software - seemed excessive for just a webcam! The real pain though was the invitation to then download another 58Mb of so-called critical updates from the Creative website! Almost an hour after starting I finally had a working webcam.That said, the webcam is excellent for use on Skype.Image quality is what you would expect, and is far far better than similar webcams I've bought from Logitech (sorry Logitech, but your products just aren't up to scratch in the image stakes).

I bought this webcam in error but i have to say i am delighted with it.The software install takes far too long but can be speeded up by choosing not to install Creative Calendar or Photo Manager innitially as they are very much inferior to many other free programs in the market.The configuration of the camera and sound was very straightforward and the picture and sound quality is very good.The only slight issue i have had is with Microsoft Messenger which locks up sometimes during use but i would say this is more a problem with Messenger as i have used with Skype several times without any issues.A good device at a reasonable price!

When you consider what you have to pay for some techno gadgets these days, £17 for something that works is pretty impressive. Read the reviews and bit the bullet and it installed very easily (doesn't really take too long, so don't go away or you'll miss vital bits. The extra bits are quite cute). Rather precariously balanced on top of my flat screen, as 'clip' is not very tight, but the mic and headphone set works well too. Think i may have missed the instructions on adjusting it in the set up and it took a while to work it out, but it works perfectly with Skype and i wouldn't hesitate to buy another one!

As this is my first webcam I have nothing to compare it with but I can highly recommend it. I bought my first one in a shop and was so pleased with the price, quality and the easy set up that I bought more for friends and family as Xmas presents.. we can now all chat on Skype which is great as most of my relatives live in Germany and had never seen my little girl before. The stand that is attached to the camera also works very well on my PC and my laptop. It comes with headphones and a microphone which both seem to work very well..

The camera works beautifully on my notebook laptop XP windows. Fits perfectly and looks great. Earphone works well for what it is. I would recommend downloading all software as had problems when tried to cut down on the downloads. Takes a while to download but picture is great! Really great package for such a low price.

This is an excellent camera for desktop computer. The picture quality is fantastic. Creative has come up with the best web cams so far. I highly recommend this product, its worth the money.
