Not tried audio so can't commentImage as previous reviewer says not really 1080 but have to put in perspective a little.Being such a wide angle it does cram a lot of picture into your normal view area.I use for security rather than conference (I do wonder if you would be able to really make out faces round a large table, it would get them all in but perhaps not too clear). 6 meters away, which is not far really (looks about 16m away through lens) you can just make out a car numberplate & any further & too blurredI replaced an average logitech web cam 800x600 and the same sign, same distance, is about the same clarity but you get over twice as much into the viewing area.I think either down to lens or perhaps compression.What I can't work out is how to access the settings elsewhere,

This product is not worth the money - I would still feel ripped off paying 25% of its retail price.To begin with, the Webcam is advertised as HD 1080p and capable of recording at 30 FPS (Frames per Second). The image quality is definitely not 1080p and it can just about record at 10FPS.The built-in microphone is terrible. When using Skype's Echo/Sound test service it could barely pick up my voice from less than a foot away; even less than 3 inches away from my mouth it was still struggling.The Webcam comes with a free application called Webcam Companion 4, which offers limited features and ultimately is poor-quality compared to many other webcams.

Maybe I didn't do my research very well, but I was under the impression that FULL HD means FULL HD. Apparently not. This camera only films at 1080p in 800x600 mode or something like that. Or maybe it's something to do with the 30fps. I'm not 100% sure but if you wanna record proper, full on, top quality, HD videos you need to buy a different camera. Not a webcam. Something like a HD camcorder or an SLR. True story.

Garbage. Go the the manufacturers site. Software and firmware is years out of date. (in fact depending on the model you can only download the manual in pdf format on the downloads page)http://www.geniusnet.com/Genius/wSite/ct?xItem=53214&ctNode=161Decent if you are trying to monitor the interior of a large warehouse 10 years ago I guess?Disappointing that Amazon even sells this product.

The item came well packaged, however the camera had light scratches to the face of the camera. I cannot accept that a HD 1080p 30fps camera can perform so poorly in this day and age. I brought the camera based on reviews but I would advise any potential buyers to look at actual recorded footage before ordering. I would rather use a potato to record footage than this camera.

I was very Disappointed with this camera as I had high hopes after reading some reviews. Firstly this camera is NOT 1080p not even close I would say its not even 720p weather this is to do with the wide angle im no sure but for this price I would recommend the HP HD 4310 Webcam for a little more or even the AUSDOM® 1080P HD Webcam for £10 less.
