Shoes run a bit small. Ordered the 13s because that was the biggest size they had and 13s in any brand have always been big enough. Luckily the insole is kinda thick and taking it out gives me the room I need to not have my feet feel all bunched up.Wore them on a 4 mile walk on St. Pats and didn't have socks on. Breathe really well and no blisters, a few hot spots that could possibly turn in to blisters. I wouldn't be wearing them without sock liners on the trail anyways.Even without the insoles they are very comfortable and I had no foot fatigue after wearing them a long time and being on my feet for hours straight. I have some injinji run socks that I wear them with and they are are super comfortable. It rained on another "urban hike" I was on, wearing socks, and they dried pretty quickly with all the mesh. Feet also didn't feel sweaty.Took the star off only because of size issue. If I could find these in a 13.5 I would be in foot heaven. I also think I need to find a thin insole for them. Maybe one of their latest styles might have them in a bigger size. Overall solid shoe and can't wait to hit the trail with them!

I am very impressed with this shoe. I went to a local outdoor retailer looking for hiking shoes for my husband and son going on ten-day backpacking trip in New Mexico they decided this one fit the best for both of different shaped feet husband has a very narrow long feet my son has a narrow heal a regular sized ball of the foot so I was surprised about that this shoe felt most comfortable to both of them. I ordered the shoe online and they both wore it. They've also warn it to work and school virtually every day for six months. Then they both asked me to order them a second I was really surprised but grateful that I have finally found a shoe that I can buy online whenever I find it on sale and they will definitely like it.One caution, it does run about a half size small but that was not a problem. I just ordered up and both of them are happy.

A very well made pair of technical climbing shoes. These aren't the everyday variety but a more pro level outdoor shoe.I ordered 2 sizes larger - just so it felt more comfortable on my achilles tendon, these are the curved sole, hook-toed variety offering brilliant all round grip. You wont need these for indoor climbing/bouldering.They offer really good support whilst climbing, without constricting, if you do go for a little larger - though it comes down to personal preference. We trust La Sportiva for our climbing equipment.I believe Alex Honnold of the Oscar winning documentary feature film: 'Free Solo', used La Sportiva shoes when he became the first ever person to free solo (without any safety equipment)climb El Capitan.5 stars.

Unfortunately, I don't leave feedback as often as I should, but I really believe thea shoes warrant every penny. I recently completed a long trip through SE Asia, through a real variety of places. From the chaotic cities to the serne country sides and mountains, these shoes shoes made it though everything. I remember more than one occasion I had to stop for a moment or two just realize I hadn't felt my feet in weeks. Not like a numb feeling, but that everything was under control and comfortable. And that's probably one of the best feelings in the world when you've felt how bad imperfect shoes can be in the long run. These shoes were perfect and feel even better once broken in.10/10 best choice.

The yellow writing peeled off the toes almost immediately but it doesn't really matter. The day I got them I ran a steep trail for a couple hours up one side down the other and back. Other than almost giving myself a heart attack I could not have been happier. These shoes are so comfortable it's unreal. I had to adjust the lacing a bit to fit my foot but that's pretty standard for me. I'm seriously considering ordering a back up pair because I like them soooo much! They absorb impact well without being to soft. I've ran on pavement with them as well with no issues. Try them on at REI if they still have them.

I have gone through 6 pairs of the Wildcats. They are good for 400-500 trail miles. They will start falling apart after 300ish miles. The mesh on the outer side of the shoes near the toes is usually the first to come apart. I am not impressed with the ventilation after getting the socks wet but I am impressed how it keeps water out unless you step in deep puddle or heavy rain. The toe protection is great, don't have to worry about kicking rocks/roots/etc. They work well for thru hikes. Little too heavy for day hikes on non technical trails but I still use them.

I normally wear an 11.5 D in all shoes. The size aid said I'd probably need a 12.5 in this shoe but that size was unavailable so I tried the 12.0. I hiked with it today and although a little snug, I did around 5 miles and feet felt fine afterwards. I think they'll workout ok but next time I'll probably try the 12.5. I loved the grip of the tread. I'm hiking on a rocky trail in Arizona so lots of loose rocks. I'm very happy w these shoes.

Wildcat shoe is designed on a last that has lots of toe room and works well with an orthotic. The heel grips firmly, and sole has lot of traction. They run somewhat small I think, I measure an 11 - 11.5 on a Brannick device, and where a 46 12.5 in these. This is my third pair. They help me to prevent plantar fasciitis when combined with a Lyco Aetrix orthotic

I've only had these shoes for two days so it's too soon to rate their durability, but they are very comfortable and grip the ground well also. I'll be wearing these for yard work and watering on various areas of my 15 acres. I wore them from 5 AM until 4 Pm and they were comfortable the entire time. If they last for a year I'll be extremely pleased.

This is a great product! I bought this shoes 1 year ago and they preform marvelously! It is very important to find the right size before ordering them , and be sure that for the first few days they hurt like hell.. Great shoes and I recommend that before buying you should read reviewes so that you would know that they address to your needs

These fit great, are light weight, durable, great support, & dry quickly. Son was thru-hiking Appalachian Trail and he wore these through all seasons. I too personally have a pair for general hiking use. These are sold as Trail running shoes but perform perfectly for long distance and general trail hiking.

I really wanted to love these shoes, but they are euro sizing, and seems to run a bit small, especially in the toe box. I would recommend at least a 1/2 size up. Alas, the larger size was not available to me, and I broken heartedly sent these back using Amazon's awesome return policy!

20.3.2016

Great climbing shoe, I sent them back because they were a bit too tight but that was a mistake on my behalf, I got the size I ordered and I won't mark down for that. When ordering I suggest you get your street shoe size and not try to go smaller for the tight fit as they are already

23.2.2019

At first it takes time to get used to them.. I am 44-45 in street shoes. Took 42.5 for those. Fit well. They control on edges really well and even the hill hook which at first I could not work with is good , just takes time to get used to. I general I recommend the shoes

These are my go to trail shoes for backpacking. I stockpile them because sometimes supply is limited. For a while I thought they were being discontinued. They do run a bit smaller than is typical, so I buy a 1/2 size larger in these than Saucony models, for example.
