I've been bouldering indoors sporadically for the last few years, and I finally decided to make it a consistent hobby. I didn't want to keep using the rental shoes, so I decided to buy my own, and these are a great beginner shoe for indoor climbing!SIZE: I am normally a US 6.5 and bought a 37.5 EU. I think it ends up being a US 5.5, but that's perfect because they fit just as climbing shoes should. In fact, they might actually be "too big" for climbing shoes (though they still fit snugly). They conformed to my feet pretty well after 3 or 4 uses, and I can wear them comfortably both with and without socks.DURABILITY: So far they have held up very well a few months with climbing 1-3 times a week (usually once a week).

I have not even had a chance to climb in them yet, but they fit well. I wear a 7-7.5 in shoes and ordered a 37.5. I could have gotten a 37 for more aggressive climbing - as in my foot would have fit and my toes would fill the toe box. As it is I have a bit of room by my toes. They slipped right on are very comfortable but I think I'll need to break in the heel a bit one one. It doesn't hurt, but it's a bit snug and I trust the leather will soften.

I liked these shoes for the most part. They were my first pair, and since then I've learned that I prefer Velcro for quick on and off at the gym. I also wore through the toes in about 3 months, I don't know if the rubber isn't thick enough, or if my foot work was really bad! Overall they were good beginner shoes, I went from climbing 10a in rental shoes to doing 10c clean in a matter of days after getting these. It was amazing!

These are my first pair of climbing shoes, and so far they seem great! I ordered half size down from my Birkenstock size, not regular shoe size. They were uncomfortably small around the toes for the first day, but have stretched out just enough since then and fit perfectly. They have a bit of downturn at the toe, but are not too aggressive for a beginner shoe. I would recommend these.

I couldn't wait to get these shoes to the gym and try them out. I didn't want shoes that I would make my feet feel sad after just 1 climb. These have very little down turn so they are very comfortable. I sized down half a size and they fit perfectly. Great for beginner climbers.

These shoes are fantastic for my climbing habits. Having shoes that fit to your feet well really makes all the difference. I am a 7-7.5 in women's normally. I ordered a pair of 38's, and they fit absolutely perfect. Not painful, but snug as they should be for climbing shoes.

Other reviews say it right that it is a good shoe for beginner climbers who I consider myself to be. I ordered the shoe size that is 1/2 size bigger than the size I normally wear and it seems to work well for me.

i may just be too used to wearing aggressive shoes, but these are extremely comfortable. the rubber is fairly stiff but still feels grippy enough for untextured gym holds. Very solid build quality

Be careful with the size, better find original La Sportiva size chat. And there is no men or women this shoe, just check original size chat.

These are perfect for beginners. I wanted a comfortable fit so went for a 37.5. I'm usually a 37 so they run a little small.

Taken half a number less and are still very comfortable. I found the plate sole very snug.
