It's difficult to leave a review for something so personal as climbing shoes, especially that I've been buying this model twice now (kind of biased). What I like about these shoes:Leather inside: I had synthetic 5.10 anasazi and they started stinking after just a couple of months. These don't. The leather is also good as it sticks to the skin so the skin doesn't rub against the insideThe shape: fits my foot perfectly. I have a very long big toes and these shoes are pointier allowing for more big toe length. My big toes don't sit flat in the shoes, they perfectly sit snug along the upper curve with my knuckle at about 45 degree angle. Also my feet are thin and the velcro are very good at keeping the whole shoe against the foot without gap and at the same time keeping the needed "agressive" foot curve. They are extremely comfortable but I still need to remove them while belaying or in between climbs. I only go sport climbing and I don't think they would work well for long multi-pitch trad climbs.Size-wise: I din't to use any "calculator" to figure out my shoe size, it's consistent with regular shoes.

These are some awesome climbing shoes. I have been climbing for many years and am an instrutor at my local gym. I have wide feet and high arches and hammer toes. These shoes fit me better than any others I have tried on so far. The are suede so they will stretch a LITTLE to custom-fit your feet but they have a lot of rubber too, so don't expect too much stretch. They have a solid sole which give your feet a lot of support (as opposed to my Five Ten Moccasyms which are very thin slippers). The Vapor has a strong forward curve to it, which helps your toes grip overhangs, and a great heel for heelhooks. I purposely bought my shoes very tight, so I do like to take them off between climbs, but when I put them back on it is like a relief because my foot slips on and they fit like a nice glove. I really really love these shoes!

I'm a woman who wears a size 8.5 in street shoes and the 40 Vapor V (mens, this shoe) fits great. They last a reasonable amount of time before wearing through the toes; I got a year out of the first pair while climbing around 8 hours a week in the gym. I have wide feet in the front (bunions) but a fairly narrow heel. My toes hurt on the top for the first few uses, but my shoes and feet got used to each other quickly. I do take them off when belaying but can leave them on for an hour or so bouldering. They're great for toe hooks, I can balance on tiny feet no problem and they are also flat enough to smear easily. The only thing I don't do a lot with them is heel hooks; considering a more aggressive shoe next time for bouldering, but for an all around gym shoe these are hard to beat.

My first technical slippers. A formidable precision, excellent quality of a gum for a really good grip. Against a handy tip and a nice heel. The curved and asymmetrical shape of the shoe gives significant power. And slippers happens to have all these qualities remaining extremely pleasant to wear (I wear 46 city and opted for Scarpa in 45.5). By threading the past I instantly of a level-5C 6A at a level 6A-6B. Very impressive, I highly recommend. The custom trekkin is very simple, timely delivery, package in very good condition and very responsive service (typing error in the address on my part corrected by service in 1/2 day).

I originally got this pair in size 39 1/2 (I wear adidas street 8-8.5 US with wide feet) and it hurt too much on the toe box. I tried it a few times but couldn't concentrate on my climbing. Despite this, I knew it was still a great show cause of the overall feel of everything. I decided to order a pair of 40 1/2 and it just fit like a glove. This is my first pair of slightly downturned transitioning from a flat pair. I'm still adjusting but it's helped keep my footing on almost anything! Loving the rubber on the heel as well as the rubber on the toe. Highly recommended! Oh, and delivery was great too!

This is a good pair of shoes, very comfortable suede, feels like there is a lot of cushioning when you wear it. Would be a great shoe for long climbs and bouldering if you size it right. Durable Vibram XS Edge rubber so you know it will not wear out as quickly. Good for hard climbs and hard bouldering and also you can still smear in them. Never tried for for crack climbing though, might chew up the shoe. Over all a great shoe, excellent price and superior quality. It works great out of the box! Not much getting used to required. I would buy this shoe again for sure!

Great service and value from trekkINN ! got to Israel after 8 days, best price worldwide. The shoe was highly recomended, after my first Evolv defy black which is super comfy, but lacks in edging and heel-hooking which makes it harder to boulder past V4. The vapor is great all-rounder intermidiate shoe, I chose a very tight fit - which is tough for the break-in process... hope it'll get better after couple of monthes... the length is ok, yet although it supposed to fit wide feet, the sides are in pain (order one EU size smaller than everyday shoe).

I have used la sportiva tarantula, Mad rock remora and Boreal Ninja. So far, this scarpa vapor are very comfortable. After only one climbing session I can say that.1. The heel hook is amazing. The best of all shoes I have climbed on.2. Sensitivity is the weakness of this shoe. Since the toe box is made out of a rigid rubber the sensitivity is reduced if you compare to the remora or ninja. Softer rubber allows you to feel better the holes in contrast to hard rubber. However, if you are standing on tiny edges the hard rubber is you ally.

I had the old orange and grey vapor v shoes for a year and a half before they completely split in two. Never had to resoul them. And that's climbing in the gym 3-6 days a week! These new ones are much more comfortable! I got the same size and they fit great. I got 7.5 men's, and I wear an 8 street shoe. My foot doesn't move at all! Which is exactly what you want. I also have a pair of la sportiva solutions for trickier toe hooking and heel hooking problems, I'd recommend those too. But these shoes are definitely worth the $112 for sure

Very comfortable, especially for a wide foot. Shallow heel - there is no free space even with flat feet, while the heel sits feeling very secure. Easy to put on and remove due to Velcro. A small bend in the area of the sock gives an excellent opportunity not only to stand on small hooks, but also to securely cling to the slightest depressions, even in deep canopies. Excellent as an everyday pair for climbing on rocks. bought on 1 size less than street shoes - comfortable, you could have 0.5 less.

I have had and used these shoes for bouldering (level 6C-7A) more than a month now and am really pleased. They are comfortable without being boring. Previously had a couple of La Sportiva Katana Laces a short period, but had trouble with blisters on the heel (now found that I probably can not have a La Sportiva models). Normally, I have the size 42-43. I ordered size 43 by Scarpa vapor that suits me perfectly. Delivery from Trekkin went smoothly.

I don’t think/have never been told I have narrow feet, but these were too wide/high volume for me. It’s very, very difficult to find size 14 climbing shoes. To my knowledge, only Scarpa, Evolv, and Tenaya are the only brands that make size 14.... I ended up getting the Tenaya Iati size 14 and they fit like a glove and perform great. Can’t speak to the performance of these shoes.Hoping this review helps some tall dude out there.

This shoe is awesome! I ordered the same size as my regular shoe and they still provided all the edge and stability that I need. Suuuuper comfy and supportive. This shoe has made me a Scarpa man for life. I have been climbing for over five years both in gyms and outdoors on a variety of rock. I have had these for nearly two years with a sole still intact. Crazy!

Great shoe, incredible edging. Fits very tightly against the toes which can make you a bit sore, but the edging advantages are worth the pain :) incredible shoe. Would recommend to anyone who is doing some intense bouldering or slab climbing. Bought this shoe twice and will buy again. The shoe runs small so make sure you upsize about half a shoe size.

Its a great shoe by SCARPA as always they upgraded in a lot of things from the previous Vapor V's, but there's something not too pmeasent at least for me. They made this shoe narrower at the front, so now is not thaaat good for those with wide feet. other than that beautiful shoe from what I've heard preforms awesome. Too bad its not for me.
