These were my first climbing shoes. At first I wasn't sure if they were right - the felt uncomfortable, especially on the back of the heel where the top of the material touched my skin, and the two indented parts on the sides of each heel felt a little abrasive. BUT! Having now worn them for around 10 sessions, all of that has faded, and now they feel like a part of me! These are very light, great tight fit all round the foot owing to the lace-up design, and they look great. I tried a pair of the more popular Tarantula, but much preferred these. I was told they are great shoes for getting up the grades quickly, and that seems accurate - I've got from 5 to sending 6bs in a matter of a few weeks.

These are fantastic entry level shoe suitabke for indoor and outdoor climbing. They offer great traction with the ability to conform the shoe to your foot dimensions by using the long deep laces that fall all the way upto your toe joints. You get a good well grasped fitting without movement. The heel strap tension is eased off on this pair to ensure comfort after a long wear.La Sportiva is the brand used and recommended by Alex Hannold of 'Free Solo' the Docu-movie about the first man to climb without aid (of equipment or person) to the summit of El Capitan.The down side is that the sizing is way off. I'm going to have to order 2 sizes bigger to accommodate the feet of the user.

i started with tarantulas (size 41) and the finale (size 41) is my second pair of climbing shoes. they´re really comfortable for me despite having ,issues fitting my left big toe in most shoes. i´m still working them in, but so far so good. the sulphur / blue colour looks great, but be prepared to get smurf feet. the dye in the leather will come off while you´re wearing them. the front and heel of your foot will be blue, while your arch will be sulphur yellow. basic shipping took about a week and a half from the netherlands to toronto.

Comfy shoes, with the laces adjustable to both narrow and wider feet. As for sizing, go with 0,5-1 size smaller than streetshoes or even smaller if prefer it very tight, although the shoe is probably not a choice for someone out for more technical and agressive challenges. Design is very pretty, not too harsh, some colour at the heel and laces, very pleasant all in all. Some small glue stains here and there...:)

Fit is great and the laces are not a problem at all. Was worried that they would be less convenient than velcro fasteners, but actually they help the shoes fit really well. They were a little stiff for the first couple of climbs, but soon softened up.

Comfortable cat. I use it for rocodromo and routes of several lengths, crests, classic. They give enough of if. Sole for now fairly durable. Yes, the feet take a nice color
