This is the genuine Nicer Dicer by Genius. To be certain, I suggest buying from Genius in Germany via Amazon. It also feels genuine due to product quality/sturdiness (I saw a warning on the web that there are poor quality imitations). The standard base Fusion set is a 13-piece set. This 34-piece set comprises that set plus accessories including handy extra blades. The Fusion set is so-called, according to Nicer Dicer YouTube ads, because it combines the best evolved Nicer Dicer features and has the 3 lid settings (see below). At about 107 quid this set is a big investment in terms of money and storage so I hope this review, though long, helps.Headings: General pros & cons. Nicer Dicer: 7 pros,4 cons. Nicer Twist. Graters. Nicer Slicer (mandoline). Nicer Julietti (not yet used). Storage. The Instructions (including .pdf). Thanks. Contents (full English).GENERAL PROS: Saves much time for bulk work. Takes the laboriousness and possible unevenness out of manually slicing, dicing, wedging. Easy to use. The rapid-opening lid (1 of 3 speed options) is instant and makes work even easier and faster. Comprehensive food prep types in one set - chop, dice, slice, wedge, mince, store. Designed to keep fingers away from knife blades compared to chopping/slicing manually. Easy to clean, "self-cleaning" button in the lid and pull-out cleaning mesh for grid inserts, box bottoms are dishwasherable. Would recommend.GENERAL CONS: Pricey so it takes time to reap the benefits. Not all parts are dishwasherable. Bulky to store, but blades store inside the large box. See below re the small box lids. It's not yet the pinnacle in Nicer Dicer's evolution but it's close.NICER DICER - PROS:1. Chopper and dicer blades work well. Now that I'm accustomed to using it and have evolved the fastest clean-up method, I save typically 10-15 minutes and produce has a consistent look as it's evenly cut. (Identical pieces are meant to cook more evenly but I haven't noticed.) Ideal for onions, carrots, celery, parsnip, peppers, firm mushrooms, and almost all fruit. Hard things like potato and swede are easier if sliced quite thin first - you may need to whack the lid down hard (the instructions tell you to do this). Tomatoes need to be reasonably firm, not squishy. The instructions give guidance on which blade for a wide variety of items. Practice and experience soon gives you confidence about which produce works better than others and how hard to push the lid down.3. Good surface grip - doesn't slip on a stone worktop nor on a glass worktop protector.4. The 3 lid settings are brilliant and easily set - full manual levering, slow-open, and fast-open for rapid dicing (really is rapid - chop a fruit salad in moments!).5. Cleans easily if done promptly after use, or at the least, put into water to soak while you go and eat. I recommend hand-washing any dark turquoise parts (wedger, lids) as my wedger faded with slight blotches after its first (and last) outing in the dishwasher upper basket. I rough-wash the collection boxes (not lids) then pop them in the dishwasher top basket. The instructions say that it's all dishwasherable but recommends hand washing it to prolong its life.6. Looks smart, and the 34-piece set is pleasingly colour co-ordinated, and the colours are easy to distinguish from food. Parts aren't easily lost due to the distinctive conspicuous colours (I lose things, I blame my age).7. It feels nicely gadgety, and closing the lid on the food and seeing it chopped/diced feels absurdly satisfying :-)NICER DICER - CONS:1. I at least can't make the small box lid fastenings work properly. Hubby has better success. The fastenings work on the large boxes but occasionally I fail and must transfer things to another box. Genius, please introduce lids like Oxo Good Grips POPS. It hasn't put me off ordering more boxes as I want to chop/dice and store in one go i.e. not transfer into other boxes before I recommence using the chopper/dicer lid. To chop/dice into the small boxes, you need a large box for them to sit in, as the chopping lid fits onto a large box.2. Occasionally, after a whack on the lid (as per the Instructions), a lid insert or the white plastic grid in it falls out - a minor (but regular) niggle as it takes just 2 secs to put back.3. It's not for small quantities of food unless you want to spend the same amount of time configuring the Nicer Dicer then dismantling it and cleaning it as for large food quantities.4. It is pricey, and bulky for storage due to the Nicer Twist and Julietti accessories, but before long it will "pay" for itself in terms of time and effort saved. It's possible to buy the 13-part basic Fusion set first then the accessories later individually.NICER TWIST: My food processor overchops too easily, in only a second, but the Nicer Twist gives full control over how roughly or finely you want to chop. But if you want quick puree in bulk, you might find it easier or faster to use an electric blender or food processor. No easy feed tube like with a food processor. You need to hold it down when turning. To see an ordinary person use it, seen from two camera angles, search YouTube for "nicer dicer fusion" or add watch?v=O7ic60cNhpk to the URL (German audio but can mute). Fun watching the blades rotate. See also below 'STORAGE'.GRATERS: They work fine but I rarely use them as for bulk items I use an electric grater. The graters have storage covers that protect you from the blades.NICER SLICER (mandoline): This works well and is amazingly quick and consistent. Having both a large and a small food gripper/guider means food doesn't keep fall off or move as much as if you had a one-size-fits-all gripper/guider, but the food gripper/guider that works without anything ever falling off or moving has yet to be invented. The dial for setting the cutting thickness is stiff and I hope it will loosen over time. It needs a good tug to remove the mandoline from the box lid (scattering any food debris still on the lid), and all the while I'm anxious about the blade because 25 years ago a mandoline cut me very deeply and I've since avoided them until now. Tip: to make it easier to clean with a brush after slicing very thinly, turn the dial to widen the gap.NICER JULIETTI: Not yet used.STORAGE: The six blades fit inside a 2.5L box (I store mine separately to save removing them all each time). The two small boxes fit inside the other 2.5L box. It's more compact to store the Nicer Twist put together, with its blades safely inside, but with the handle removed to reduce height. The boxes stack - also handy if full in the fridge.THE INSTRUCTIONS:A. The 13-part set, 7-part set and Graters have English text. The English is good English.B. The 13-part set instructions (16 pages) are comprehensive and so is the guidance on which blade for which food.B. It would be handy if the photos (all black and white) were larger. However, you can download them as a .pdf and thus enlarge - google "nicer dicer instructions english", there are .pdfs for various N.D. models.C. Useful tips.D. I will try to upload excerpts from the Instructions to give you an idea. For any postscripts - please see Comments.THANKS: I wish to thank J.D. The product actually is quite good and I'm fairly certain it is genuine. The product is made of a good quality plastic and the blades are quite sharp. The blade quality is good and the box comes with all parts nicely fitted together. All parts were inside the box and nothing was missing. Shipping was also prompt and I really liked the colour of the product also. I was wondering whether the product I purchased would be up to my standard as I had the nicer dicer original before but i would like to say that yes this is better as you can cut products on both ends of the blade piece. you can cut an onion into two pieces and cut them both all at once rather than one by one!

Haven't stopped using this since it arrived. Sometimes I'm a bit wary thinking that maybe the plastic will crack whilst chopping but all seems good so far.

My husband loves it!! So many applications and a robust design / tough material.
