Good little camera when downloaded with ring app, your able to talk, view set off a siren and turn on the light all from the app. As well as this set the distance for motion detection. Only negatives needs to be near router or you will need an extender for a better signal and the battery life if lots of motion does not live up to the length specified. Recommend buying a chime pro for signal strength if not a tech person or a good wifi extender if you are, as well as an extra battery Hence the good score. Still a good safety feature for your home!

The battery version has some limitations, namely that it only records 30 secs of footage at a time. It doesn’t record 24/7 and chooses not to alert you or record movement sometimes. Video quality is acceptable but no where close to the adverts. The spotlight is very good though and provides clear video at night. If you’re after a camera to capture snippets of movement then this does do a good job. Think of it as a security camera version of the Ring doorbell as opposed to a CCTV camera.

Okay the CONS it's expensive , you have to subscribe after 30 days to save your video (think it's 2.50 a month) it's not a CCTV camera (battery would drain in a week) takes 5-6 hours to charge battery (buy a second battery ) Pros - great picture great sound loud alarm ,you can schedule Motion alerts .easy to assemble . You can fit two batteries in the cam so when one runs out it automatically switches over . App is great . It says weatherproof but I bought a silicon cover to go over it

The camera itself is great; good quality footage in light and dark conditions. Spotlights work really well and are suprisingly bright for their size. The mount supplied is very limited with regards the movement/angles it will allow; It's far too close to the wall and it is not possible to position left and right very far. The battery seems to last well. The Ring app is unreliable and won't always connect. Also you have to pay a subscription in order to review previously recorded footage.

Great design, easy set up & mount on a wall. App that controls the unit is ok but could have an interface clean up. Batteries last well, you will need 2 per unit as they don’t last as long as advertised. You can always go solar. Picture quality is good. You will need to tweak the motion area and setting as it is set off quite easily by birds and moving trees. An option to turn the camera OFF from the app is needed so that battery is. saved when you are using areas covered by the camera.

This camera is really good but so far despite putting it on the keast sensitive settings it goes iffvall the tume. This has resulted in tbe battery being flat after only 3 weeks.It also neans that your phone is tinging all the tome so your phone battery ends up going faster than usual.We have bought the solar panel to see if that will keep the battery charged.If we can get it to work sensibly it will be brilliant as you can talk to people from your phone and look at live footage.

As someone who already has a few ring products (door bell and stick up cam) I needed another cam to cover a door round the back which also gets a bit dark. This was the ideal solution, the light really does make the picture much better and the 1080 comes up clean and crisp Good cam and got whislt on offer. Have brought off a different site the solar panel as was much cheaper and now it’s done, won’t have to fiddle Charging batteries anymore

The camera is superb qualityThe light is bright enoughThe battery life is goodSpare batteries are a good price (get one for peace if mind and no down time of the camera)We had to get a Wi-Fi booster but that was the quality of our broadband not the camera. All in all good product easy to install and good movement sensors Gives complete peace of mind (Good price from Argos)

Really easy to install, only gripe was I had to cut the plug off to feed the wire. Picture quality is excellent and really clear. Great how you can control and alter the sensor zone so it does not pick up unwanted movement. Excellent live feed and connects quickly but I do have a really strong and reliable Wi-fi signal where it’s fitted. See attached picture for the picture quality you get.

Fantastic tool, brilliantly clear videos I would suggest buying an extra battery.I personally love the quality of the product and it’s neat design Just ensure you here a click when you shut the battery housing and that the button pops back out. I pay for the ring monitoring already as I have a ring doorbell and another Ring Spotlight Cam Battery Powered.

This ring security camera was easy to fit set up and use and we can now see what is happening outside the when we are away from the house. Does a really good job as a single camera at a relatively low price compared to more sophisticated camera systems. If you need more cameras the subscription gets expensive, but if you only want one this is a good system.

Easy to fit and connect to our BT hub. Responds well, battery lost 21% in 12 days so easily going to last over one month before it needs charging. Option of a second battery looks like a good idea. Images are reasonable during the day but a bit low res at night. Option of having video files saved for 60 days for just £2.80 a month is a very useful addition.

The Camera runs on a 2G and not 5G Wi-Fi connection. Had to buy a Wi-Fi extender to connect. The camera works and functions well, except that there is intermittent loss of connectivity and that is not reassuring from a security point of view. Clearly the problem is the Wi-Fi extender which carries both 2 G and 5G but wish I did not have this issue

This is the second camera I have bought very pleased with the way it works. I tried the doorbell cam but I found the response time was taking to long. This camera monitors the front drive and the other camera monitors the back garden, I would highly recommend it if you want to keep an eye on the house when you are away.

The Ring camera is a doorbell camera. You receive an alert on your phone and can look to view who is at your door or outside your house. You can speak to the person at the door via your phone from wherever you are. The camera is also great for live feed. Easy to fit and use. Great product. I would recommend
